Upload videos to facebook

Is there a way to do this?

Hello,
I've done so via the email method...FB will create a personal email address for you to send things to. I've sent both pictures and videos this way, and they go into the "Mobile Uploads" folder. I've not even tried a direct upload of a video...the background method of sending an email always seems preferable to me.
Good luck!

why can't upload video on Facebook from Iphoto?

Because that's not supported. Export the video and upload from the Finder.

my phone shutdown while I'm uploading video in facebook, how will it work again???

You cannot get the data off if it doesn't work.  And the first thing you should do with water contact is to switch the phone off and do not switch it on again until you are sure is id dried out, which most people try by putting the phone into a bag of rice for five days.
In truth, it's probably a good 95% chance that the phone is dead and the data is gone. But you kept backups, didn't you?
An out of warranty replacement phone in the US would cost you $149.

    Thanks for the update.
But, I would ask for clarification.
I have never seen any Adobe posted limits for the Premiere Elements upload to Facebook feature, but....
In the following online article posted about a year ago, the responder makes a distinction between Facebook
    unverified and phone-verified accounts.
Unverified account limit = 100 MB 10 minutes
    Phone-verified account limit = 1024 MB 20 minutes
Is there a limit to the size and the length of the video files that I can upload to Facebook? | Facebook Help Community …
I suspect that the unverified account limit is what can be used in the Premiere Elements feature within the program
and not the phone-verified one which can probably just be used for uploads to Facebook at the Facebook web site. But I do
not know for sure at this time. There is a similar situation that exists with YouTube with its regular and extended time accounts
and when and where you can use them. YouTube, I know first hand. I am not involved with Facebook in anyway.
If that online article of over a year ago is correct for now....your 843 MB 3 minutes 45 seconds failed on file size if your account
is one of those unverified ones. You could look into the Facebook phone-verified accounts to see if that resolves any of
    your Facebook issues.
If you are exporting in Premiere Elements to a file saved to the hard drive for upload to Facebook at the Facebook web site, you might consider lowering the bitrate under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of the export preset to decrease the file size but still maintain quality.
    More later.

  • Problem uploading video to facebook

Hello I am having a problem uploading a video to facebook.  It iwll only load 20% and then it fails.  However it takes a long time to fail and my phone is really hot during that time.  Is there a limit to how long the video can be?  This one is about 3 mins.  I am not sure why it will not upload.  Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?

Hello 42goldfish!  It’s cool to be able to upload pictures & videos to your Facebook page, right from your phone!  I would like to help.  First, thanks to tech_venturer for the great suggestion!  How did that work out for you?  If you’re still having problems, have you tried removing & reinserting the battery?  You can also try clearing the Facebook application Cache in the Settings menu:  http://bit.ly/ISd3cz  These instructions are for resetting an application, however instead of “Clear Data” try “Clear Cache” first.  Please let us know how this works out for you.  Thanks for being a part of Verizon Wireless!

  • For Anyone Uploading Video to Facebook

Up until today, I have only put links to video uploaded to Vimeo.  Having seen some who have uploaded video via Aperture, I think I had tried it not long ago, and it never seemed to complete or signal any problem.
Now while I run a Managed Library for my stills, when importing video from my DSLR I have chosen to have Aperture Reference the actual video.  This is in part so I can access in a workflow that leads to Final Cut for serious video, and then if appropriate to Vimeo.
However I wanted to upload a short video of grandchild that didn't need to be edited or have audio changed.  So I imported the video into Aperture to be stored in the Aperture Library.  This may or may not be the reason I was then successful in the upload of video to FB?
Has anyone been successful uploading from Aperture to FB where the video is a Referenced Master?
    Ernie

  • How Do I Disable The Pop-Up Blocker to Upload Video to Facebook & Others?

When I try to upload a video clip I shot of some 4th of July Fireworks to Facebook, I get the error message "In order to upload videos on your profile, Facebook needs to be able to create a pop-up window. Please disable your pop-up blocker or allow this page to create popups, then try again."
I have uploaded to FB before, but apparently I've turned on the pop-up blocker. How do I turn it off? I am new to MAC from pc, so please have mercy and help me...
    Thanks

    Hi IamR.Ph.
Unless you have a 3rd party blocker, Safari's built-in one can be disabled via the following method:
In the top menu click Safari (to the right of the Apple logo) then click "Block Pop-Up Windows."
If you see a check mark next to this then the blocker is enabled, if there's no check mark than the blocker is already disabled and something else is doing the blocking.

  • Can I get help uploading video to Facebook???

I'm trying to upload a finished project to Facebook, but get the message "Online services encountered a problem." What would that problem be, and how do I solve it?
Are there other ways to upload to Facebook/YouTube? Use avi, mpeg or FOV?

    mckp
What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
What is the Facebook preset that you are using in the Premiere Elements feature Facebook upload?
Are you in a country outside the USA? Have you tried to refresh your Online Services via the Premiere Elements
    preferences?
If you have a AVCHD.mp4 or H.264.mov choice to export your Timeline line, you could always export to file saved to the
computer hard drive and then upload the file from there to Facebook at the Facebook web page.

  • Uploading videos to facebook from droid charge

Do you have to be in a 4G area to upload a video youve taken to download to facebook? Help please.

Absolutely.  Upload time should be a function of file size for the video and that in turn will be a function of length in time.

  • Uploading videos from Iphoto to Facebook

I recently downloaded some pictures and video clips from my digital camera onto iPhoto. I used the Facebook exporter to post the pics onto my FB profile, but when I tried to do the same for the videos, it didn't work. Instead the videos appeared as JPEGS on my profile.
Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks.

iPhoto does not upload videos to Facebook.
You need to upload videos to Facebook by using iMovie.

  • I don't want to have to click the allow button every 3 seconds uploading video, how do I disable the "firefox prevented the page from reloading" when I've already put the site on my exceptions list?

I begin uploading video to Facebook and a small window opens to show the progress bar but, the video stops uploading about every 5% when a notification comes from the top bar stating: "Firefox prevented the page from reloading" with an Allow button on the right. Regardless of clicking the allow button and putting Facebook in every exception list Firefox options seems to have or even turning pop up blockers off, that dam button keeps coming! How do I prevent or disable this?
I am running windows XP media center edition SP2, and have Firefox v3.6.11

    You're welcome
