Org Unit change of 1500 Workers Uploaded through BDC but still Data is not reflecting in the particular new Org Unit. I have Run the RHINTE Reports too is anything Im Missing Please help.

Hi ALl,
I have an LSMW upload... where i upload data into a transaction.. once a transaction is complete it displays message as successful but when i go into that transaction it doesnt reflect data....... what can be the problem???

I dont have this transaction in my system as we dont use extended WM.
However, what you wrote is a kind contrary within :
when fresh records are uploaded hrough LSMW then they are uploaded...but when we go to that tcode
then records are not there.
. but when we manully entering these records then error msg comes that these records are already exists
is this /SCWM/RSRC transaction a transaction that does display, create and change in one transaction?
so that you cannot get your data when doing display but get the error when clicking create?
or do you use a different transaction to create the records?
you are saying you loaded with batch input in LSMW, was this batch input a recording, or a standard given SAP method ?

Purchasing requistion dates are not reflecting in R/3

Hi All,
material created in R/3,here purchase requistion generated in R/3 & APO.
Then in APO,after Rescheduling in detailed scheduling planning board new purchase requistion delievery date is not
reflecting in R/3.
Kindly revert back ASAP.

You didn't answer my question.
As a general rule of thumb, APO is much fussier about changing and synchronizing orders that were created in R/3. If you have a choice, you should always create purchase reqs in APO (although cross-creation is supported, and can be made to work nicely if you are diligent).
When you change an order in APO, and then publish the change to R/3, it is possible that the settings in R/3 will cause an issue with 'booking' the change. One way to test this is to manually make the same change, but directly in R/3. There should be no warnings or errors.
Another thing to look at are the Application logs on both sides (SLG1) for possible failures that may give a clue. Restrict to date and time interval where you know the proper update did not take place.

Master data updation not reflected in Bex report

Hi,
There is a field "Approver" in a report. It will only show the name of the Approver. And recently the same approver name has been changed in MDM system and now the problem is newly changed name is not reflecting the reporting. It shows the only old name in reporting.
My doubt is, what about already loaded record in BW system. Whether changes will be made for the older data. I mean it is possible to overwrite the approver name stored earlier in BW.

Yes, master is always overwritten.
load the new value to the approver Info object.
in RSA1 -> right click --> activate master data.
Initially when data loaded, records will be Modified version. when you perform activate master data then M versions records will turn to A version.
records with A version are only visible in Report.
If your report is on Aggregates, then you have to perform ACR (attribute change run) to update the same new value in aggregate.
you can use the program RSDDS_AGGREGATES_MAINTAIN.

just once, make sure to enter text in all lines that you may need in the recording.
in my example I have only entered text in one line (RSTXP-TDFIRST = 1):
This way all lines will be available to you.

Universe export - data changes not reflecting in Report

The changes and the latest updates in the database are not reflecting in reports,
even if i export the universe again.
and i have refreshed the reports, that even not reflecting.
i did Edit query and Run query this action also not bringing the latest data to reports

Symptom
You make changes a local Universe in Designer.
When refreshing the report, in Desktop Intelligence, the results do not reflect Universe update.
It used to be enough to simply refresh report's data, for Dataprovider to show object changes from the Semantic layer.
Change of behaviour in SP3 codeline: the DeskI Query Panel does not automatically pick up the latest modifications made to the local Universe.
Reproducing the Issue
Using BusinessObjects Desktop Intelligence XIR2 SP3:
Using your universe (eFashion), create and refresh a simple Desktop Intelligence report (.rep).
Make a simple change to the universe (like renaming a field/ object name) and save these changes.
Go back to the open DeskI report and try to refresh the data provider using: 'Data/Refresh Data'.
This will not show the latest changes.
However, if you follow the same workflow using XIR2 SP2, the universe update will be immediately visible (in the report) simply after refresh.
Cause
This is not a product regression, but intentional change in application's code delivered with FixPack3.1.
Fix Request ADAPT00818520 changed the application's behaviour: << When a restricted user is logged on to view a Desktop Intelligence document, prompt windows may be slow to open. >>
Resolution
In Desktop Intelligence menu, go to: Tools > Universes
Click 'Refresh'
Select and 'Import' your universe
Next, go to toolbar menu: Data > Edit Data Provider
In Query Panel, click 'Run' to regenerate the Query and interrogate the updated universe.
Only after following these actions will the .unv ammendments be visible in the report.

1. Log in to Designer
i) Import Island Resort Marketing
ii) Go to Universe Parameter >> SQL
ii)Uncheck Allow Selection of Multiple Context
2. Create a new Desktop Intelligence(Deski) Report based on Island Resort Marketing
i) Drag the object Country in the Result's Pane
ii) Save and Export the report to the repository.
3. In Designer Change the Object Country under Resort from Resort_Country.country to
i) Resort_Country.country+'ddd'
Note: Uncheck Allow Selection of Multiple Context
ii) Save and Export the Universe
4. Log in to InfoView
i) View the report
ii) Refresh the report
iii) Changes to the object taken place i.e Country is concatenated with ddd

This is by Design as the 'Allow selection of multiple Contexts' forces selection of the context, which is not possible in Infoview, so that in Infoview it is assumed the Context is already selected and no SQL regeneration is required.
Resolution
Problem Description: Changes to object made in the Universe is not affected when refreshed from InfoView if we check 'Allow selection of multiple Contexts' in Universe Designer
Explanation:
If we modify an object and selects also the option 'Allow selection of multiple Contexts', it means that potentially there is more than one SQL that can be generated with the use of that object. Hence if a report is created in Deski, run and exported to enterprise, that means, one particular context (SQL) has been selected.
If you then update one or more of the objects again, the SQL will have to be regenerated in Deski for the right context to be selected for that particular report.
Therefore, if this option is used, for the objects to be updated, the SQL of the report will have to be regenerated in Deski, run and export it back to repository, then refresh the report in InfoView.
For Deski reports viewed in InfoView, it is not possible to evaluate the context on refresh. The report will always use the context stored with the report and same for the SQL. Therefore the Deski report will need to be imported locally, refresh it and then export it back to repository for the changes to take place.

The option 'Allow selection of Multiple Contexts' in Designer is not to disable the prompt. It will prompt you to select context if the object used is associated with context. The option is just to allow Deski to select multiple contexts at a time if in case the object used is associated with multiple contexts and accordingly generates the SQL.
However if we uncheck the option even if there are multiple contexts associated with the object used, it will allow selection of only one context at a time.
Problem Description: Issue with Row level Restriction when refreshed from InfoView with 'Allow selection of multiple Contexts' checked for the Universe.
Explanation:
We first have to regenerate the SQL in Deski, then export it to repository and refresh from InfoView for the changes to take place correctly. The explanation above applies.

Extracting data to datasource 0HR_PT_1, data does not reflect in structure.

I have already enhanced datasource 0HR_PT_1 to include the 4 fields I need from table T549Q (PABRJ PABRP BEGDA ENDDA) and I am trying to write the extract to move the data, but I seem to be having issues. Business object data is not reflecting in data control

I am new to BPM i have a scenario to expose the Business objects(created in my own not from XSD) into data control while updating the any attribute in the business object,but it's not happening while i am trying this scenario.

I think what you're referring to is that you've generated an ADF user interface based on one of your human tasks and that human task took as input one of your processes variables that was based on a BPM Object you created from scratch and you've updated the BPM Object and are not seeing the update reflected in your Data Control.
In the simplest case, this might work:
1) Open the Application Navigator tab
2) Click the refresh icon to the right of the "Data Controls" title in the tab
3) Inside the Data Control tab, right mouse click the specific data control that is based on the human task and the XSD (the one you want to refresh) -> click "Edit Definition" -> click "Refresh Data Control".
If that doesn't work, open your ADF project's "DataControls.dcx" file. This file hard codes the location of the corresponding human task file (.task) and the schema file (.xsd).

Role Assignment date is not reflected properly

I have OIM 11.1.1.5.0 version installed on my machine. In it, whenever I create a new user and assign some role to him, the role assignment date is coming as the date on which the role was created in OIM setup and not the day on which the role was assigned to the user. I think there's something wrong here. Can someone please help me with the same? Not understanding what to check or how to proceed.

I checked the values of the usg_create in the usg table as suggested by you. And surprisingly it has the correct value in it. 20-DEC which was today. However in the self service profile page of the same user in the My Roles tab, the Role Assignment date is shown as 09 November. Can you please help me with whatever is wrong here?

Report data does not reflect the SQL Query?

Hi,
I have a report which does not seem to be processing all records returned from the database. When I run the SQL Query produced by crystal manually against the SQL Server all data is returned correctly in crystal not. Does this mean my links are not set up correctly in the Database Expert? or is there another issue, I use a Crystal Syntax selection formulae which is based on a couple of paramters to filter the database records.

Conditional suppression and Group selection formula will hide records that are actually being returned.</p><p>It sounds like (from your question) that you are using the database linking expert in CR. You can also check the SQL that CR is sending by going to Database -> Show SQL Query... compare this with the query you are using for validation, this will give you some clues as to whether your linking structure has an issue. </p>

Data is not reflecting into listbox from excel sheet

I have converted one Scorecard from Xcelsius4.5 into Xcelsius2008. Data and format everything is fine, but one list box is not showing data in xcelisu2008. But itu2019s showing fine in xcelsius4.5.
All settings are looks fine. General tab settings are same for X4.5 and X2008.
But Behavior tab has some what different. in X2008, i have seen selected item type is "Dynamic" and item is "Label1". this option is not available in the X4.5.
Please tell me where i am doing wrong.

Are you sure that the labels range in general tab is mapped properly? If that's proper then you should see the labels.
Try with a spreadsheet table and see whether the data is coming to the range during runtime.
Try removing this listbox and add a new one and test. Some times tha also helps.

Photos Uploaded on AD not reflecting on Outlook 2010

I recently uploaded photos on AD using AD Photo edit free tool for my organisation employees.
I am facing a issue where the photos are not displaying for all employees on Outlook Contacts OR outlook thumbnail.
Also same issue faced on Lync 2010, some employees can view their photo, but not all.
I checked the schema settings on DC, tried reduce the size of photo <10 KB but still no go.
Any advises?

Upload the photos on AD is the first steps for the whole processing.
Check if the Photo has already stored in Exchange GAL (Global Address List), we may assess the account through OWA.
If yes, please update the Outlook OAB (Offline Address Book) and replace the old version to get the phone from GAL.
Send/Receive > Send/Receive Groups > Download Address Book
If you could see the picture in the OAB now, please go to Contact item and updata/Sync to get the new Phone.

File Upload data not reflected in the Layout

Hi,
Using the following how to document, I have written the file upload functionality.
The upload functionality works and the data is saved in the cube. We have a layout to display the uploaded data.
Issue:- The data is not reflected in the layout soon after fileupload, even after saving the data in the cube.
If i close existing webinterface and re-execute it. I see the uploaded data.
Once the data is saved in the cube, we would like to see this data in our layouts.
How do we achieve this ?

Hi,
When you click on Submit button the file data goes in the buffer and when you click on Save the data gets posted into cube and then the function module release the buffer.
Comment the FM call API_SEMBPS_REFRESH in Save button and refresh the layout, check if you can see the new data in the layout.

Master data modified at SQL end not reflecting in Info object master data

we have done some data modification at SQl end where the modified data not reflecting in infoobjects master data.
for example:
we have split/skills numbers like 1-1000 in the data base and now we did some modifications to that particular split/skills numbers and uploaded that data successfully in the SQL end.now the problem is that modified data is not reflecting in split/skill info-objects and showing the same old data but not the modified one.can you please explain me how to reflect that modified data in BI side.

Hi vamshi ,
what is type of data load to master data infoobject (Full / Delta), if you know the split/skills numbers, try to load with repair full till PSA and check the data. if data is correct you can load to infoobjects and data will be overwrite, after loading data into infoobject -> in RSA1 -> infoobjects-> right and select "Activate master Data" ( this is not a mandatory step, if there is any M and A version data is there that will be adjusted.) and updated data will be available infoobject master data.
