Uploaded document via windows application does not show in document library, but as checked out Document

Hi,
A windows application uploads document to a document library programatically. Although they get added to the document library but are not shown there. Only when I go to the "Managed file that have no checked in verison" I see all the documents.
This happens even though I have set "No Versioning" in the library settings. This is probably happening because I have added a few custom columns to the library.
How can I avoid this situation and get to upload document which can directly be seen on the document library rather than first taking control of the doc and then checking it in?

Hi,
When uploading files without filling in some required columns, the files would appear in “Checked Out Files” page.
To avoid this situation, you can modify that windows application to force users fill in the required columns or just define default values for those columns.

Sounds like a driver issue. I never tested in bridge, so I could be wrong. But it sounds to me that when you are connected to that screen, your settings are not set to the full resolution of that screen.

Copy of Application does not show " My accounts" in search show

I have copied the application CRMM_ACCOUNTS through blueprint application builder using save as
The new application does not show "My accounts" in search show
It is just showing "My favorites"
Can somebody please tell me the reason for it or how to bring "My accounts" in search show

May be while copying the application "My Accounts" is not copied.
But you can create one by saving the Query.
Seelct "My Account" in the Find DDLB while in adv search and save the query as "My accounts".
It will be added to the SHOW DDLB.

Windows 7 does not show my Ipad2 in my computer but Itunes does

I have tried 2 diff. Ipad 2's as well as an Iphone 4 and windows 7 does not see them. any suggestions ?

ITunes has nothing to do with the windows operating system so sync wont work because the photo's are on the pad not the computer. I will call apple support. I think it has something to do with the apple drivers for windows that changed in the latest upgrade

I'm also having the same problem, when before I hadn't. I've been trying to research this issue too w/ little success. All of a sudden I realized that not all my songs were playing and red squares w/ red circles appeared next to a bunch of music on my playlist. So I tried to delete my playlist & re-sync but I couldn't get alot of my songs back onto my iphone 4. I believe we're being forced into subscribing to the itunes Match where it stores all your music (purchased & uploaded) on the cloud. Hoping I'm wrong.

I'm a Windows PC user, and I'm currently in the process of combining my 12,000+ song library on my laptop (we'll call it Library A) with a 180,000+ song library (Library B, and yes, one-hundred-and-eighty thousand) onto a new hard drive. I have successfully moved Library A from my laptop onto my new hard drive. The method I have tried so far to move the Library B music into A on the new hard drive is by using the "Add Folder to Library" and selecting only a small portion of the folders in Library B's media folders as not to overload iTunes and to be able to pinpoint problems.
This worked for a few small iterations but the moment I tried doing half of the "A" artists (alphabetically), most of the music doesn't show up in the library. Some of it doesn't show up in the regular library but in the "Recently Added" playlist, and some don't show up in either. I have even tried adding just single files now and those don't show up at all.
THEY ALL SHOW UP IN THE MEDIA FOLDER ON THE NEW HARD DRIVE. That is why I think this might be true but I'm not sure: I've heard that it is because iTunes needs to process all the songs before it shows up in the actual library. Is this true? I have waited over an hour for adding about 6,000 songs; half showed up right in the beginning and half haven't yet. When I added about 4,000 just before this, they all showed up without any problems.
Any help? And is there an easier, error-free way to add this many songs into a new library at once? I'll keep this updated for anyone trying. Thanks in advance!

finally somebody with the same problem! i bought a new external drive because i was running out of space and backed up my entire library. then my computer crashed and i wanted to take advantage of a clean drive and not add my whole library back onto my computer. i'd love to be able to access my music folder on the external and have that show up as my library on iTunes when connected...
i followed all the steps as closely as possible and am pretty confident that my advanced preferences in iTunes are correct, but the library does not show these songs from the external drive. have you had any feedback or figured it out on your own?! i hope so, i'm at a deadend.

Can someone please help me to remove an iphone telephone number from my imessage application. I no longer have a phone which I registered on my apple ID as a second phone. I have been on my apple ID and it does not seem to be there but cannot remove it from imessage, which still has it as an option to connect to. I am concerned that someone else who inherite this old phone will see my messages if I accidentally enable it again. ITunes on Windows 7 does not show iPad2 as a device.

I want to use iTunes to trasfer contents to iPad. iTunes does not detect iPad while iPad shows in Windows Explorer. Last month it used to work sometimes, and every time after I reinstalled iTunes.
I have tried to reinstall iTunes, restart Windows 7 and iPad, and stop other Windows services. iTunes 10.5.2.11 and iOS 5.0.1 are the current versions.
I made an appointment with Apple Expresslane Support later, but wonder if anyone can help me here.

It works now following the discussion "My iPad 2 doesn't show up in iTunes" posted by iFart last month !
Using the USB ports on the back of computer (instead of the front ones) works without a problem.

Application does not show in Simple Finder

I recently set up a new computer for my kids and I am using the built-in parental controls in 10.6 to limit access to certain applications. I have turned on Simple Finder to make the computer easier for them to use. The issue I am running into is that one app, called Mia, will not show up in the Simple Finder no matter what I try. When I view the list of approved apps it is checked in the system pref. The only thing that I can tell which might cause this is that the app requires Rosetta. However, I am not sure if that is the issue. I tried creating an alias to the app and an automator application that launches the app, but even if I select those they don't show up in the Simple Finder. The other selected applications do show up.
Computer is a new MacBook on 10.6 with all the latest updates. Tried repairing permissions, etc., already. Any ideas on troubleshooting this would be appreciated.

How was this application originally installed? Was it by drag and drop? If so then it is owned by you not by the Applications folder's owner which may be why you are having the problem. Give this a try:
1. Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder.
2. At the prompt enter or paste the following:
sudo chown -R root:admin
Put a space after "root:admin". Drag the icon for this application into the Terminal window then press RETURN. You will be prompted for your admin password which will not be echoed. Then enter:
killall Finder
This procedure may fix the problem.

Application does not show up in "install applications list"

I am having an odd problem with my SCCM 2012 OSD tasks. It appears that not all applications are showing up in the "install applications" task. For instance, I have separate applications for 32-bit and 64-bit Java. The 64-bit application shows
up in the list of applications you can choose to install, but the 32-bit version doesn't. I have tried both with and both without the "allow this application to be installed from the install application task sequence action without being deployed"
box selected. (It also looks like that box does nothing, I have it unchecked for Acrobat Pro and it still shows up in the list).
Both deployments are working outside of the OSD stuff, but I'd like to be able to have them install as part of an OS deployment. Any ideas?

Had the same, (i am on 2012 R2 by the way)
packages could be selected, Applications couldn't from a TS.
Create an application with only one deployment type of type " msi" and you'll see that this one will show up!
Everything said here (set the flag, install weather or not...) is true
my issue was: If theapplication is of type "script" it will not show in the application list. unless ALL of your deployment types (user and/or device types) in your application, have these things set!
(i sctually needed "install for system if resource is device, otherwise install for user" )
AND in my application i have to unset the "Allow this application to be installed ..." flag for them to show up in the TS
AND run the scripts as 32bit on 64bit computers
AGAIN: only seeing this behaviour in SCRIPT application types, not MSI typed once...
I see no mention of this anywhere in any documenttaion out there.....

PDF document opened with Preview does not show french accents

Hi everybody,
I've got some issues with PDF documents opened with Preview.
They show a blank space for all the accented vowels.
If I open the same document with Safari, it's the same. But with Chrome, it works perfectly.
I assume there's a problem with fonts, but, nothing wrong with fontbook (checked duplicates for instance).
Last information : it looks ok within chrome on my Imac, but the issue comes back when I try to print from chrome app...the accents are gone on the sheet.
Any idea ? I don't want to install Adobe reader...

Why not? It can handle some pdf's that Preview can't. At least it's worth a try.

Got the same problem. Ios6 maps is the worst maps application for me. What is the point having a map and don't give navigation. APPLE PLEASE GIVE US THE GOOGLE MAPS BACK. why don't they give us the option to choose from these two map application. Ill go for google maps because it got much more POI than apple maps. Please do something for this otherwise I'm gonna loose interest on my 4S

Windows: iphone does not show in itunes

I used to sync my iphone with itunes on my notebook.
I realy dont know what changed but: from one day to the other, itunes does not recognize the iphone any more.
( the cable seems to be ok, since when I connect the iphone to a different computer, itunes fires up ok)
I checked the support page (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1495 ), so:
i have the usbaapl.sys file in system32/drivers; ok
the apple serverices are running; ok
BUT: the iphone is not listed under USB devices in the device manager
(btw: the windows camera diaglog fires up as expected, when the iphone is connected )
I restarted my notebook, reinstalled itunes, turned the Iphone off and on - no change.
I realy need my iphone to sync again - so please help.

The only other option I can think, is that you should try a program called revo uninstaller. It will go through and not only uninstall the program but also delete all registry files and files/folders related to the program. Before you do this, you should backup iTunes onto DVDs or to a hard drive.
If this doesn't work, then it is a problem with the Windows OS itself and not with the iPhone software on Windows.
One last thing, when you connect your iPhone, do the following:
-Right click on My Computer and select Manage
-Select Device Manager
-Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers
-Do you see "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver"?
-Try right clicking on it and select uninstall.
-Disconnect and reconnect your iPhone.
