Uploaded explicit version of song into Cloud but get clean version out of Cloud

My iTunes library was originally on a Windows 7 machine; I signed up for iTunes Match and uploaded my library to the Cloud.  Recently I bought a Mac and also authorized that for iTunes Match.  I downloaded my library to the Mac, but to my alarm I found that a number of my songs that had formerly been the explicit versions (I don't buy radio edit albums) had been mysteriously replaced with radio edit versions.  I tried deleting the local versions and re-downloading from the Cloud, but I get the edited versions again.  No idea how this could happen-- the iTunes store does appear to sell the explicit versions of the songs, and it's not like I accidentally bought the edited versions-- these were songs I already owned in the explicit version!
Has anyone else ever seen this happen?  Do you know of any way to fix it, short of writing to iTunes support directly?

    I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

    Hi, I've got an old eMac. I've tried purchasing tracks this afternoon and this evening. Log into account no problem. Starts to download but straight away screen switches to a new iTunes agreement. I accept/ agree to this new agreement, but get the following message - "Session timed out. Try again later". Have shut everything down and restarted - get the same result. Starting to get brassed off. Not very computer literate. HELP!

    Still waiting for help: But, i now wonder if this is even an answerable topic? I thought since others had had this problem too that someone would know what to do.

  • My PC crashed, I need to upload my ipod´s songs into a new PC.

    My laptop´s hard disk is gone, my itunes library was in there, I don´t have any back ups for it, I do still have my ipod working though, it has the latest software version.
    Is there a way to extract or upload all of the information I have in my ipod into a new computer and start from there again??

    First hold the shift and ctrl keys, WHILE HOLDING THEM connect the ipod and do not let go of the keys til the ipod is listed in itunes. THis stops an auto update.
    Now on the ipod summery page check "manually manage songs and video" then hit the "Apply" button in the lower righthand corner.
    At the top of itunes goto Edit>Preferences>Advanced tab>General sub tab and make sute both "Keep files organized" and "Copy Files to iTUnes music folder when added to library" are UNCHECKED and hit OK.
    Close iTUnes leaving the ipod connected to the PC.
    Now you can use Third party like podutil http://www.kennettnet.co.uk/software/podutil.php programs to copy songs AND ratings, playlist playcounts ect ect back to itunes. There trailware/demo version will do it all for free.
    In podutil hit "Copy settings" and check both "Copy tracks to itunes" and "Rebuild playlist". THen set what folder you want it to copy to and start it.
    Now being its trailware after every 50 songs it copies, a pop up comes, just hit "OK" for it to continue

    one album of my music randomly stopped working on itunes, if i double clicked on it nothing would happen
    i deleted it off itunes ONLY, not my computer, and tried re-adding it to my library thought the file menu, add folder, add file, drop and drag,
    nothing works! it doesn't give any error message but it doesn't show up in my library. The songs work in other programs, but not itunes! I even tried setting the songs to open with itunes, but then itunes does absolutely nothing. I even tried moving the files and adding them but noting happens...HELP

    You need to convert the VOB files in the TS-Folder of the DVD back to DV which iMovie is designed to handle. For that you need mpegStreamclip:

    I have a task at school that i cant get my head around. The task is to create some dimetables and create a facttable from those. The data i have chosen is from Export and Import cost for each year for a specific Product.
    So The dimtables are : dim.Product, dim.Export, dim.Import and dim.Date ExportCost(column), ImportCost(column)
    For example, the importtable looks like this:

    00 bike 2000 88470
    00 bike 2001 48631
    01 meat 1998 176638
    01 meat 1999 213696
    01 meat 2000 225571
    01 meat 2001 305054
    and i have exporttable as well..after several hours, i have come to the conclusion that import and export tables are two different Fact.Tables, but, then the question, how do i normalize all this mess so i can later get some cubes and mesaures out of it??

    In OLTP System Import and Export are from different tables and those tables will be normalized to avoid redundency. But, here in OLAP System data should be de-Normalized. the given sample data is correct but not a fact table.
    Typical fact table should contain Keys(surrogate Keys that link the with the dimension table) and Measures(Quantifiable Values).
    so the fact will contain only numeric columns. and Dimension table will have Key and its corresponding Name, description and Attributes that has Analytics value.

    The link should have worked, I just clicked on it and went to the correct forum. Anyway, in the top left you should see a breadcrumb trail like Adobe Forums > Adobe Creative Cloud > Discussions. Click on Adobe Forums and click on the drop-down labeled Select Forum. Type 'i' to reach the i choices and select Ideas.

  • I mistakenly downloaded the explicit version of a song and now can't seem to delete it.  I've put the file in the trash, I've deleted it in my music library but everytime I sync my phone to my computer it reappears.  Help!  This is so frustrating.

    I purchased an explicit version of a song by mistake.  I then went back on line and purchased the clean version.  I've deleted it from my itunes library but when I sync it with my phone, it reappears.  How do I remove it permanently?  It almost seems like what's on my phone is what appears on my computer and not the other way around.

    Check the ID you are signed in with in Settings>iTunes & App Store.  Any music you purchased with that ID should be available to download from iCloud by opening the iTunes Store app, then tap More>Purchased>Music>Not on This iPhone (iPod, iPad), then tap the iCloud download symbols to download them.  You can also go to Settings>Music, turn on Show All Music, then open the Music app, go to your song list and tap the iCloud download symbols next to purchased songs that are not already on your device. 
    You can only do this with a single ID.  If you have music purchased with a different ID, they will not appear in your purchased list.  Also, after download previous purchases for one ID you cannot download previous purchases from a different ID for 90 days (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627).

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

    - Reset all settings

    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
