Uploaded pictures are reduced in size- how do i change this?

I have a 18.1 megapixel camera, I edit the pictures in Aperture on my Macbook Pro and then upload them to my PC or Shutterfly. No matter where I upload them they are reduced in size. For example my Aperture says the picture is 2883x4324 I upoladed it to Shutterfly and the size is 1289X1834. Can anyone help me change this configeration?

When you export an image File->Export->Versions, the image will have the characteristics that you specific in the export window.
When you drag an image out of Aperture you are not exporting it you are copying the preview of that image. The quality of the preview is determined by the settings in Aperture->Preferences->Previews.
Frustration comes from not getting familiar with the program. The user manual for Aperture is very good you would lese your frustrations if you spend some time with it.

iPad mini using Mail. My wife somehow changed a setting and it doesn't ask what size I want to send the photo as, it just automatically sends it as a reduced file size. I'd like the option to chose each time I send one.

Photos that you take with the front facing camera - the FaceTime camera - cannot be reduced or enlarged in size. Apparently the front facing camera must automatically optimize the for FaceTime and the size cannot be adjusted.
As far as I know - all other photos (screenshots, saved from websites or emails, rear facing camera photos) can be reduced in size - or sent in a larger size if they are reduced automatically when inserted in the email.
If you are sending multiple photos in one email - if one of them is from the front facing camera - I believe that will preclude you from adjusting the size of any of the other photos as well.

Try a hard reset first. To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If that doesn't work, try restoring your iPod via iTunes.

That will not be due to Firefox. This is just a guess, but do you use any form of web accelerator? They can work by compressing data before sending it to your computer.

How do I set my colors to CMYK in the text form properties? I have seen some screenshots where there are cmyk sliders. I don't have any of these options. All my color options are in RGB. How do I change this in Acrobat? Please Help.

What I'm trying to do is make an editable invitation. So I export my file from InDesign to an interactive pdf. I would like to set the editable text in the form field to a specific cmyk color. Is there anyway of exporting specific color swatches into the pdf and then applying them to the text in the form field? I have been searching this topic for a while and am getting really frustrated with the lack of information on this topic. Any help would be great!
I saw this screenshot with cmyk sliders. Where can I access these settings or options? I'm on a PC, not a MAC.

Though it has to be said that the Mac colour selector is very confusing. Although you can select in CMYK on the Mac in almost any app, it is converted to RGB by the Mac, and you get RGB anyway.

HELP! Emails in Mail are suddenly gone. How do I change this?

Hello -- Using Leopard 10.5.5 and Mail 3.5. Can I change it so that Mail does not automatically delete emails? In the Mail app on my iBook, the emails never go away (unless I delete them..) Yet on my G5 and my MacPro the emails get deleted after awhile. Thanks for any input.

What type of account is this -- is this your AOL IMAP account?
In Mail, there is no option to ever delete messages in the Inbox, so what you report does not fit any setting you would be able to change. However, AOL, by policy, removes messages from your Inbox folder after 27 days. To avoid this, the messages must be moved the Saved folder. This would not be different from earlier versions of Mail on other Macs, but perhaps the passage time has made a difference?

Also, on the Weather Channel site, I enter a few cities I follow. Each day, I have to reenter them because they disappear. In FireFox, the browser is set to retain cookies. Add the corrected ones to your PS - PS contains only what was added to it - changes made are not applied to the PS - you have to re add the updated photos

Firstly thank you for replying to my plight. I just use Costco, Target. They all come back rather dark, or on the brown grey side especially Costco. I will try to ask these companies for their color profile, but then what do I do with it once I have it? I am not computer literate, so you would have to explain in English for sure. I do not use a printer for printing--only commercial places. I loved Apple printing, but sometimes they take a little too long turn around time so I use Ritz Pics (which I have little trouble with their pictures).
