Uploading 2010 Infopath Form to Sharepoint 2013
Hello,
I uploaded a Infopath 2010 form from my Sharepoint 2010 website to my new Sharepoint 2013 website.
I get the following editing message under my form title: Last modified at (todays date with time) by admin (Edit this Page)
How can I deactivate this feature or is this a feature? If not what is it and how can I get rid of it ?
Please help,
Kind regards, Ali Tozlu
Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you got last modified message when you upload a InfoPath 2010 form.
How did you upload the form from the SharePoint 2010 site to SharePoint 2013 site?
Could you give more information about this issue?
I tried to reproduce the issue with the following three methods, and in the library I not got the last modified message with the form.
1.Use the “Open with Explorer” method.
I opened the SharePoint 2010 site library in explorer which contained the InfoPath 2010 form, and opened the SharePoint 2013 site library in explorer.
Then I dragged the InfoPath 2010 form to the SharePoint 2013 site, the form upload without the last modified message.
2.Upload the form using the URL
In SharePoint 2013 site library, I clicked the “New dcument”->Browser->typed the URL of the SharePoint 2010 site library which contained the InfoPath 2010 form.
The form also upload without the last modified message.
3.Downloaded the InfoPath 2010 form to local computer, then uploaded the form to SharePoint 2013 library, the form upload without the last modified message.
Thanks & Regards,
Jason

I removed SkyDrive for Business and installed OneDrive for Business on my laptop. After that, I had problems opening a Word and Excel document in a SharePoint site (SP2013). After installing Service Pack2 from Office2010, this problem is solved.
But I still have the same problem with InfoPath. Whenever I click an InfoPath form (I have InfoPath 2010 on my laptop),...
... I get the error "cannot display web page".
When I change the URL
ms-infopath:ofe|u|http://intranet.water-link.be/samenwerken/awwit/Autorisaties/Gebruikersbeheer/2015-02-25%20Aanvraag%20gebruikersbeheer%20voor%20Stephanie%20Geeraerts.xml

I can open the InfoPath form and read it.
Any ideas about how to fix this ? I already tried to restore the Office 2010 via Control Panel - Install Programs but without any success...Hi Gert,
As I understand, you can’t open InfoPath form in SharePoint 2013 unless you change the URL without “ms-infopath:ofe|u|”.
There are some reasons which maybe cause this issue, and you can try to do things below:
Access CA -> General Application Settings -> Configure InfoPath Form Service -> Check the two options in User Browser-enabled Form Templates.
Go into the registry by typing regedit from the Run line and rename the SharePoint.OpenDocuments.5 key (ex. SharePoint.OpenDocuments.5.old) under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.
In library settings, click "relink documents to this library".

How to migrate sharepoint 2010 infopath form to sharepoint online.
how to migrate SharePoint 2010 infopath form to SharePoint online.
Hi Partha,
You use powershell script to migrate infopath forms from SP 2010 to SP Online. But you need to be careful about external connections used in infopath forms(web service connections etc.) because they might required to be changed. So, for data connections,
use of Data Connection Library is a preferable way or you can write a powershell script to update the data connections also.
You can find the sample script from the below url:

Infopath form for sharepoint 2013 lags when searching for person or group.
Dear all,
After implementing a infopath form on sharepoint, the search for person or group column lags when I search for someone the second time. (The first time won't lag). Is there a fix to this? And is there a way to modify the search for person or group function
to sharepoint OOTB person or group search? I think the OOTB one is a lot better. Thanks all.

Creating the site content type failed when publish Infopath form to Sharepoint 2013
I have an InfoPath 2013 form trying to publish it to SharePoint 2013. When I click on publishing an error message appears stating "Creating the site content type failed". I can't figure out why this
is happening, any help on this one?
Also it appears the form template is uploaded when I go to the library settings under advance. When I see the .xsn file and click on it, it opens in InfoPath but not in sp.Rettajm, could you please find any errors in ULS?

Requested registry access is not allowed when opening Infopath Forms on Sharepoint 2013
Hello Technet Community.
I hope this will help anybody out there that experienced this problem after patching Sharepoint 2013.
I have a distributed 3-tier Sharepoint 2013 environment. All of a sudden, after the last round of patched released on 7-Jul-2014, opening Infopath forms would throw a "something went wrong" error.
Looking at the ULS logs, you would see the error "Requested registry access is not allowed.".
I have looked at tons of posts on different blogs, and all pointed out that you need to grant "read" permissions to the application pool user (in my case a service account in AD) to the registry key (and subkeys):
HLKM/Software/Office Server/15.0
That indeed works, but it is not the proper way to do it. You should grant "read" permissions to this local group:
WSS_WPG
And special permissions to this local group:
WSS_ADMIN_WPG
Here is a snapshot of the special permissions needed
By the way, the WSS_PWG local group contains the app pool service account.
I do not know why patching Sharepoint removed these permissions from the registry keys, but oh well...
Anyway, Sharepoint is now happy and Infopath forms work as expected.
ClaudioCheck if your service account or infopath service account has access to server and specially registry
http://blogs.technet.com/b/spsforum/archive/2011/11/02/quick-solution-5-requested-registry-access-is-not-allowed.aspx
To solve the issue, please follow these steps:
Use the Process Monitor to monitor the registry, once you get the following ACCESS DENIED message(You can filter the result with “Result contains Access Denied”):
Date & Time: <date time>
Event Class: Registry
Operation: RegOpenKey
Result: ACCESS DENIED
Path: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\14.0
TID: 2020
Duration: 0.0000297
Desired Access: Read
Open Registry Editor (Start > Run, type regedit)
Open key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\14.0(got from Process Monitor from step 1)
Assign the SharePoint Timer Service account the Read permission to this key
One can open registry using regedit command. In Registery editor go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\15\Secure\FarmAdmin
Check central administration app pool Identity have permission on FarmAdmin. Permission can be check on right clicking FarmAdmin --> Permissions.

How to have Infopath form use Sharepoint Domain credentials
I have built a for in infopath which is published to a library on Sharepoint 2013. This form is filled out by certain users and when its completed it gets moved into a subfolder. We then provide a link to a client who has a domain account with restricted
access to just this folder of sharepoint. They can view this form and any others we put in this folder.
The form has 2 views. The first is the view our staff sees when filling it out. There are some hidden sections in there for us that the client does not need to see. So there is a second view which is read only and I have taken away the option for them to
switch views so they can't go back to our internal view.
What I would like to happen is that the form can somehow detect by the domain login info from sharepoint, what user is opening the form and switch views based on that. What I can't figure out how to do it to have the form pull domain credentials from the
sharepoint site and use those a a variable when opening the form to set the view.
I believe I am on the right path what trying to setup a data connection but I am just missing something. I found this great guide http://www.pointgowin.com/seethepoint/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=55 but now when I open the form I get a warning stating "You
do not have permissions to access a SharePoint list that contains data required for this form to function correctly." Also I still can't seem to pull the username.
Can someone help me out? Point me in the right direction? Thanks.Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to have Infopath form use Sharepoint Domain credentials.
When you use Claims-based authentication, your user name is prefaced by “0#.w|”. So for example, if your user name is SuesDomain\jdoe then your Claims-based user token will be, without
the quotes: “0#.w|SuesDomain\jdoe”
InfoPath can’t handle that, or more specifically, the UserProfile.asmx method GetUserProfileByName method can’t handle that. InfoPath tries to pass in your Claims-based user token instead
of your domain\User Name.
You have an authentication problem where the currently logged in user is not allowed to hit the web service, so you get an Access Denied 401 authentication error
To resolve the issue, you can refer to the great blog:
SharePoint 2013, InfoPath and Claims – GetUserProfileByName

Anonymous User forms in Sharepoint 2013 Online (Office 365)
I'm using Sharepoint 2013 online with Office 365.
Is there any way for an anonymous user to communicate with the site using forms (preferably Infopath)?
There are many, many versions of this question on the web, but most answers seem to talk about features I just don't have in Office 365 Sharepoint - such as Application Management in Central Administration, which just isn't there.
The only feature I can find is the Excel Survey in Form Templates. This is at least a start, but what I really want is the ability for an anonymous user (a customer) to submit information into a Custom List using a form; or, second best, in an email (WITHOUT
having to have Infopath Filler installed). this is all do-able for a fully-subscribed user of the intranet site, but I can't afford to buy individual subscriptions for all my customers. Nor do I want them seeing each other's data, or accessing my intranet!
I have spent so long researching this and getting nowhere, and really need to know if it's just a straight 'no, it's impossible', or keep trying.
Thanks
JonathanHi Jonathan,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to enable anonymous user with forms in SharePoint 2013 Online.
There is a Sandbox solution from CodePlex, it manages anonymous access on Office 365 / SharePoint 2013. Please have a try.
https://anonymous365.codeplex.com/
In addition, I am not an expert for SharePoint 2013 Online, I suggest you create a new thread on SharePoint Online forum, more experts will assist you with SharePoint Online.

I hope this helps.

Can't see 'Upload Multiple Document' option in sharepoint 2013
After upgrading Sharepoint 2010 to 2013, i can't see 'Upload Multiple Document' option under files tab. I have downloaded and place the file 'STSUPLD.DLL' into Office14 and Office15 folder but IE is not asking me to run any microsoft ActiveX control as mentioned here
http://thuansoldier.net/?p=2289
I am using Office 2010 with IE9 (32 bit) .
Am i missing anything ?Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you could not see the “Upload Multiple Document” option in SharePoint 2013.
In SharePoint 2013 the “Upload Multiple” Options has been depreciated. As we all known, there are two alternative ways to Upload multiple documents:option
1 - Using the drag-and-drop functionality, option 2 - Windows Explorer view.
You can upgrade your IE from IE9 to IE10 then check whether it works.
You can also use the Windows Explorer view to upload multiple documents.
You will probably get the following error.
To resolve this add the SharePoint site as Trusted in your Browser and Make sure that the WebClient service is running. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then press Enter.
In the list of services, locate the WebClient service, and then make sure that its status in the Status column is set to Started. If its status is not set to Started, double-click WebClient, click Start, and then click OK.
Once done restart the browser and try opening the Windows Explorer again. In the Windows Explorer you can copy and paste Multiple documents as done in earlier SharePoint versions.

Hi all,
I am in trouble because i am trying to find out a solution in C# by which i can publish my infopath form (without any help of publishing wizard in InfoPath form).
