I just purchased and downloaded a book to my itunes library on my laptop. How do I upload it to my itouch?

When the iPod is connected to iTunes, check the Device/Books pane and set the Sync Books option to suit your requirements.

I like listening to Audio Books as well as music but everytime I upload any music it deletes the audio books and when I upload audio books it deletes the music. How do I keep both on my iPhone without the other being deleted.

Thats what I was doing wrong. Both music and books were ticked but I wasn't clicking on the books tab and ticking what I wanted to upload there.
All I need to do now is work out why iTunes stops working when I start typing to submit details gracenote.

Try to boot into Safe Mode and order this way, or sign into a different user account and try to order as a different user.

How to upload a book in iPhoto 9 to Mobile me

Does anyone know if there is a way to upload a book, presently in iPhoto 9, to my Mobile Me site ?
What I'm trying to do - to share my book of vacation photos in the book with some friends.
I know that I can upload a slideshow to my Mobile me site - but would prefer to share the book .
Any ideas appreciated ??

Yes, there is a way to do what you want:
1 - while in the book mode start a print routine and use the PDF->Send PDF to iPhoto menu option.
This will create a jpg of each page and import them into a new album in iPhoto.
2 - Immediately batch rename the pages via the Photos->Batch Rename->Title to Text and enter "Page" in the text field and check the number box. This will rename the pages to Page - 1, Page - 2, etc.
3 - put the book into an album and create a MobileMe gallery and publish. This will put your book online in a MobileMe gallery.
Or you can create an iWeb site with an iWeb slideshow of the book pages as shown in this demo page: iPhoto Book as an iWeb Slideshow.

Upload to Blurb fails after exactly 30 minutes (There was an error uploading your book's pages...)

After exactly 30 minutes after the upload has started, I get this error:
There was an error uploading your book's pages. Would you like to try again? The choices given are "Retry Upload" and :"Cancel"
When I retry, the same thing happens - fails after exacly 30 minutes. I am using a window 7 pc (with Service Pack 1) and using Lightroom 5.4. I have turned off my firewall and antivirus programs, rebooted, and connected directly to my router (not wireless) and ensuring my pc does not go to sleep, but did nothing I try wil help.
Anyone else get this? Any ideas? Thanks!

I had this problem as well - the upload to Blurb would not work. Creation of a PDF and export as JPEG in the book module worked.
For me, the solution was to turn off the Windows Firewall while uploading. Now it works!

HT3412 why will my iphoto book not upload? I have previously uploaded to books without any problems.

I am unable to upload my iphoto book for printing. I have previously uploaded two books without problems. It gets through the assembly step and the blue bar fills up the Upload bar except for a "hair" at the end, then I get the message that upload has failed. Cancel order or try again.

You get your isbn before you upload, if you really need one. Read the FAQ.

Printing/Uploading a book mechanisms

I have not yet ordered my first book (I've always gone through a local agency via PDFs). However, I am thinking about trying the Apple service but am unsure about how practical it will be for me.
I have a lot of large image files in a book I am preparing. If the image files are uploaded then it will be a horrible upload (taking ages). I really don't want to export each print specifically for printing in the book at lower resolution as that would take quite some time. I want to keep the images I have imported (and worked on) at high resolution as I will be wanting some large prints of some as well.
So, the question, when you "upload" your book, does it do a print at e.g. 300 dpi and then upload this rather than uploading each image file and layout info, etc.
Probably not explained well but would appreciate any comment is anybody can understand my explanation.

It is wonderfully easy and you will love the results. It all happens behind the scenes (and you do have an opportunity to snag the PDF that ultimately gets sent.) Aperture does it all behind the scenes. The resolution is great. I've done over a hundred.

Uploading Urdu Books

I have encountered some problems while uploading Urdu Books as PDF-Files. There is no "Form" for entering information about the Title of the book or the Publisher. Obviously the text within the PDF-File, which is in Urdu script cannot be read automatically although it contains all relevant information. This problem can be solved if a "Form" may be provided, in which I could enter information regarding the title of the book as well as the name and address of the publisher.

I just finished my first wedding album in the Lightroom 4 book module (yay!) now I would like to be able to upload the book via the web module so that my clients can approve it, but when I move to the web module, it seems to only upload the individual images--not the page layouts.
Is there a work around?

OK--one last question since you seem to know everything--can I export the jpegs as a spread (ie--page 1 and 2 on a single 12" x 24" jpeg for 12" x12" book) Or do I need to import the jpegs back into photoshop and lay them together manually...does that make sense?

InDesign CS5.5 crashes when uploading a book to blurb via the Blurb plugin

I am trying to upload a book from InDesgin CS5.5 to Blurb via the Blurb plugin. Whenever I do the preflight starts as it should and gets about 2/3 of the way through before InDesign closes and I get an error message coming up saying that InDesign has closes unexpectedly.
I spoke to Blurb and they suggested exporting the book as a pdf with their pdf export settings. This worked fine for the book cover but with the pages of the book the same thing happened as when trying to upload it directly to Blurb. When I try to export it as a pdf with my own export settings it works fine, its just the blurb preset that seems to be an issue.
When I mentioned this to blurb they said it must be a problem on Adobes end not theirs.
Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
My system is a Mac OS X 10.7.5 and the error message I get is attached below:

I uploaded a book via itunes producer, i want to get the book on my ipad, how can i find it on the book store? or is there another way to download it into my ipad/iphone?

It's your book, so you should have it in iBA, where you can use the Share menu to export a .ibooks file - drop that file onto iTunes, then sync your iPad and open it in iBooks.
Once your book appears in the store, you can find it by searching on the name, or you can locate it in iTunes Connect and then follow the store link from there.
