Uploading Contact pictures to PC
I've got a picture that I took while adding a new contact so the picture does not come up in my phones camera area, only when looking or editing the contact can i see the picture on the phone.
Im wondering if its possible to get that picture and upload it onto my PC or atleast get it to show up on the phone so I can access it

email it to yourself. Once you get the pic in your email, touch the picture until a save option comes up. It will then be in your photos. Open your contacts and add the picture to the contact you want.

I have been trying for days to upload just one picture from my PC to my iPhone. I have tried both iCloud and iTunes. Neither of them have screens that match instructions in the iPhone manual. I don't want to synch anything. Just upload one picture.
If the contacts are in iCloud, log into www.icloud.com, edit the contact and add the photo. It will sync to the device.
If the contacts are in another cloud service, log into that service and do the same thing.
If the contacts only exists on the device. STOP! Sync them to iCloud, another cloud service, or a supported app on your computer immediately or risk losing them should the device fail or be lost/stolen. -
Outlook switches contact pictures
When I upload a contact picture, I usually go online, find the appropriate picture, select "Copy link location" and paste that into the "File name" box of the contact picture upload. The picture shows up fine, I hit "Save &
close" and everything looks normal. It doesn't do this for all contacts, or contacts in certain groups, or with any pattern I can recognize, but sometimes it puts the contact picture I uploaded on another contact. Sometimes it even copies it to multiple
contacts so that the original one is fine, but the picture shows up on other contacts, some of which had a picture originally and some of which did. Any idea what could be causing this or how to stop it?Hi,
Do you mean the contact picture you set for your local contact is also shown in other contact information in your Outlook client?
Please restart Outlook in safe mode to check whether the issue persists to confirm if it is caused by any third-party add-ins. If the issue persists in safe mode, please create a new Outlook profile to have a try. If the issue doesn’t continue in safe mode,
we can disable add-ins one by one to check which add-in caused the issue.

I have an older iPhone (3gs) and need to upgrade to a newer phone (4S). I need to get my NOTES, CALENDAR, CONTACTS, PICTURES, etc backed up on iTunes so I can get that data loaded onto the new phone. But not sure how to do that. When I open iTunes it has a button that say "Back Up iPhone", but I'm not sure what that does. When I go into the sync options it say I have another user account and asks me if I want to merge of replace. I'm assuming it's trying to tell me I have an older iTunes Library, but don't know that. Geez, maybe people over 60 shouldn't have iPhones, iTunes just bafles me.

How do you add your contact picture to a text message?
I want to be able to see my contact pictures whenever I text someone from my contacts list. How do you put your contact pictures on a text message for iPhone 6? I can see my contacts pictures when I send/receive a group text but not an individual text. Is this feature equip for apple phones? Thank you!!!

i have this beautifully huge screen and this tiny picture.. i dont want to revert back to ios 7, but the tiny picture is really a deal breaker for me. i dont understand why this was changed. i really hope this is changable and someone can help me change it.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Then reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go. (No data loss) -
SanDisk eject error message and improper upload of pictures Aperture 3
My Macbook Pro seems to corrupt or damage SanDisks. I just uploaded a 16 GB disk which only uploaded about 30 out of 400 pictures into Aperture 3. It was a new disk. At first it showed all the pictures and looked as if it downloaded. When I ejected the disk, it gave the error message that I didn't eject it properly, which I did do carefully. Now I cannot view any of the pictures on the disk but it shows I have used 12 out of the 16 GB. I have tried numerous times to get it to upload the pictures and I see a brief image of the first picture then the space where the pictures are supposed to display, turns all gray. I have had this issue with other disks as well and it seems to be a pattern. Any ideas? I also don't know how to determine what operating system I have. Computer was purchased August 2011. Thank you.

The exported file that I am seeing on my Desktop after 10 minutes, is showing this in the Preview:
But after exporting there was no message at - neither an error message nor the usual alert when finished "Export 1 version completed - Reveal ...".
So, I am not yet conviced that the export went well, but Aperture can export gigantic TIFFs.
What is the file format you have been using? My test was done with TIFF, 16 bit.

My computer crashed and I have to get my data from my old drive to another computer, to ensure I get all my data what do I need to get. I have and ipad and an iphone. I need to get apps, contacts, pictures, etc. Is there a way to do this? It was a vista pc and the new is win 7. I can grab the backup files, and music, but what about my apps? I do not want to sync on the new pc since the apps aren't there. Were are the app files located in itunes? Can I just copy them to the new computer?
You can transfer itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Use your backup copy to put everything back. -
How do I get my contact pictures to appear by each text message in the text app?
I have the iPhone 5S completely updated & a few of my friends with the iPhone 6 & a few with the 5, have their contacts picture by each text message. Is that only installed for the 6 or Is there some ah way I can make mine like that?

My iPhone has my old email set up throught iCloud. How do I reset my new username with the device without deleting everything. And if I have to delete my old account, will everything (contacts, pictures, games, apps, etc.) be erased from my phone.
Your old ID connects to an icloud account containing all your data (email, contacts, etc.) If you then use a different ID, you will connect to a different account, which results in losing all your "apple" data, like emails, contacts, calendars, etc.
However, Apple IDs are also used to connect to an itunes store account, with is different. You can keep using the old itunes store ID to keep all your purchases (but if you change to a different ID, you will lose all purchased items) and use the new ID for icloud (but losing emails, contacts, etc. from the old account). -
I erased everything on my iphone and lost all my contacts pictures and everything else how do i get the contacts and pictures back from my itunes account?? ive tried restore its like it gave me a whole new iphone thing.
If you plug in the iPhone to your computer, any contacts ect that you synced with your computer with sync back with the iPhone when it is selected in the iTunes menu under info. Anything that was added without syncing was lost, I'm sorry. A good future solution is to get iOS 5 when it comes out this fall, so you don't need to manually sync contacts, its automatic!

I was trying to download my itunes to my iphone and did a restore by mistake. Now all my contacts, pictures etc are gone from april to now. How can I revert my iphone back to the way it was

I updated itunes 11.1.5 and I accidently restored all my settings back to my old phone that was backed up onto my computer, I lost everything that was set up on my phone, contacts, pictures, videos, emails...etc.. how do I get my old setup back without doing a factory data reset?
Restore the device again using the most recent backup.
If there is no more recent backup and the pictures were not copied off the device prior to the original restore, they are gone. Same goes for videos taken with the device.
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service, simply sync them back.
Any content acquired from iTunes should be on iTunes on the computer, simply sync it back. -
I cannot upload any pictures to Flickr for the past three days, I just get the upload screen which when I click on upload does nothing I'm using PSE12, I have had no problems in the past , I still have had no response to this post and it has been several weeks since initially posted, is there anyone awake at Adobe, can someone give me advice or is there total lack of interest once the product has been purchased I have been a customer of PSE for many year since PSE6 now on 12 but lack of response may cause me to rethink
Turn off your iPad and put it in recovery mode. Try to restore it via iTunes.
