Uploading doc extention file taxonomy promot is not coming even compilsory field as metadata

i am trying to Upload doc file with doc extention in a document library which have taxonomy enabled as metadata column it is not giving the promot for selecting the taxonomy either the field of taxonomy is must
but it is working if the file type is Docx
can any one help?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you had issue about the .doc files with managed metadata column.
Did you enable the “Add to all content types” when created the managed metadata column?
You can create a new managed metadata column with “Add to all content types” enable, then check whether it works.

Are you sure about your FTP credentials (FTP folder and site URL) that you are using for the upload? Are you able to see the updated files in the remote directory of the FTP server, after you finish uploading the muse file, using an external FTP client like FileZilla?

Can you upload to a file system directly and not to wwv_flow_file_objects$

The following link shows how to upload a file. These files that are uploaded are stored in a table called wwv_flow_file_objects$ .
However what if I want to upload a file but save it to the file system (share) and not put it into wwv_flow_file_objects$ is that possible

When you use the file upload item type, the files you upload are stored in a table called wwv_flow_file_objects$

It has to be loaded to wwv_flow_file_objects$, but you can use the
UTL_FILE package to write it to a directory the database has access to. Use FOPEN with open_mode wb and use the PUT_RAW procedure to write into the file. Use READ procedure of the DBMS_LOB package to read your BLOB in junks.

Output File : German Characters are not coming

In my output file german characters are not showing. All the german Symbols are coming as '?'.
Is there any way to get that?

Change the encoding in your File adapter to <b>ISO-8859-1</b>
In the receiver file adapter --> File Encoding.

File is shown as not saved even if it's just opened

I recently upgraded Logic Express 8 to 9, the downloaded and installed updates. When I open any Logic project it shows up as unsaved (window closing widget has black dot in it). I save project as Logic 9 file, close it, but when I reopen it, again black dot in the window closing widget showing file as changed and not saved. Why? Any ideas how to solve this?

what the **** is the "window closing widget"? If you want your question to be understood, post a picture with comments.
It is so EASY to make: first use Grab (Applications/Utilities) to make a screenshot; save it as a Tiff file, then open this file in Preview, annotate it there and save as a Jpeg file!

Tax Amount(CST) is not coming in tax field in sales order

Dear Friends,
I have created a sales order and in that sceanrio CST is applicable. In sales order the CST amount is coming but my problem is that its not coming in total sales order value.
In my sales order, value is like below mention: -
Pr00 1000
CST 4.00
while I select the line item and go to condition tab its showing both value but while i see the upside field net value and tax field in net value field 1000 is coming and tax value field showing zero value instead of 4.00
I have mentioned the settings in condition type for CST
Cond. class D Taxes
Calculat.type A Percentage
Cond.category D Tax
and maintained the condition record against Tax code defineed for CST 4%
Please advice me what could be the reason of this problem and kindly give the solution.

Re-check your pricing procedure maintanance, whether relevant routines maintained in "Requirement(10)" & "Alt.Condition Base value(16)"?
if its maintained check in V/06- cond type details of your tax cond type- Exclusion field is "Blank" & in Condition records too.

New computer...can I upload my iweb files? it's not working!

I recently purchased a macbook pro and need to keep working on my website. I had created one using iweb on my previous ibook but now when I open iweb on this new computer, it won't let me open or import my files!!! I don't want to have to recreate everything.... but when I turn on iweb it just asks me to create a new page! Can anyone help?? I've been thru the help files, can't really find anything & not sure how to search for it...thank you!!

David, I realized that I didn't answer all your questions. I did the whole site in iWeb with the exception of the counter at the bottom of the pages. That is done with StatCounter which is free, and provides valuable information about how your site is being searched.
I noticed that some (if not all) of your text has published as image files (png) rather than text. If you want people to be able to google your site, change those back into text and register with google. the following is a good forum thread detailing how to get listed by google: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=679200&tstart=0
There are lots of good forum threads. Search for( text change png ) or something like that and you will find lots of info about how to keep text from changing to pngs.

Upload .doc, .xml files in ABAP

Hi everybody,
I want to save some files in my database, but I don't have a clue, where to start...
Anybody knows how to upload files? Maybe you know functions or something like that?
And what's the datatype I need in my database to save files in there?

When I click PRINT for a PDF file, a window pops up asking me to "save the file as" an xxps doc.. The page dows not print even if I click save. I do not want this "save" window will not printh

How can I eliminate this seemingly automatic "save" window. Just want to print the pdf.

Deleted it, restarted it. tried it again. no change. repeated the whole cycle. no change. thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling, but that won't reallyk change the settings.

In Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Version 11.0.0 - Flatten file so it is not editable even by Acrobat

In Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Version 11.0.0 I use the Flatten option under Preflight but when I go back into the document using Acrobat and use Edit Text & Images, I am able to edit and delete items in the document. I also tried Flatten Preview -> Apply but this didn't work either. I finally tried to print the document as a pdf but the same thing happens. If a document is flattened, it should not be editable by any software but it seems that if someone has Acrobat, they will be able to edit the pdf I send them. Can you please tell me how I can truly flatten a pdf file so that it is not editable by at all?

Images won't upload and a lot of sites are not coming up correctly or at all

I have been having issues for a couple of weeks uploading images to Facebook as well as other sites that I use for business, like CreateSpace. Two days ago I discovered a website that will not come up at all on FF, tpgoffice.com. I prefer FF as I am a web designer. I have been forced to use the dreaded IE many times over the last month though.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Hello Ganesh,
When you export the file from SAP to your PC, select "unconverted" radio button. Enter a file name and path, then save it with a text file (.txt) extension. Then do the following steps on your PC.
1. Open the Excel application.
2. Open the text file in the application. The system will automatically open the text import wizard.
3. Select "Fixed Width", then press next pushbutton.
4. After you parse the columns, press next pushbutton.
5. Go to the column where you want to keep leading zeros. Select "Text" in the "Column data format" box.

Material availability not coming even when the material is in stock

Hi,
My client is facing problems in creating a free of charge delivery order for a customer with a material with quantity 1.
In MMBE, the material is available in the plant and storage location - quantity available is 1.
Now when the client is creating the free of charge delivery order with the same material, the plant and storage locations are getting determined automatically but when the system runs the availability check for the requested delivery date i.e current date, the confirmed quantities is 0 and no further schedule lines are there for confirmed quantities.
I checked in MMBE for the determined plant and storage location, the stock is available (quantity 1) but still there are no confirmed quantities.
What should be the reason behind the same.

cluster ID is just combination of below parameters:
In our case, my source system (ABC) was refreshed from another system (XYZ) recently
so while installing target system ( DEF), I changed the source system details from ABC to XYZ in below file and retried the
SAPinst screen. System copy has got completed successfully.
Open the file <installation directory>/jmt/cluster_id_switch.properties and edit the line
src.ci.sid=
src.ci.instance.number=
src.ci.instance.name=
src.ci.host=
If in your case source system is not refreshed recently; You may try with functional host name or OS host name etc. details for above parameters.
If this does not work check details of "SAP Note 966752 - Java system copy problems with the Java
Migration Toolkit" which says almost the same thing but I could not get that as the statements related to
box number are bit confusing and contradictory.
