Uploading files from Ipod to my comp. Any ideas?

I recently formatted my hard drive assuming that I would be able to transfer the files on my Ipod to my new fresh install of Windows XP but it lookes like its not possible. Is there something I'm missing here? I hope I dont have to redownload everything again, including the music and videos I purchased. Any ideas?

The transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers has been introduced with iTunes 7. A paragraph on it has been added to this article: Transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod
The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes
If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod, this is just a selection. Have a look at the web pages and documentation for these, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews of some of them here: Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes

For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. Hi, I have shot few pictures on 31st December night in RAW mode using Nikon D800 and Sandisk extreme plus 32GB SDHC card. It looks like card got some memory errors so not able to transfer the files from Card to computer. However I am able to view the pics thru Lightroom ver 4.4 Library, but when I tried to import them, it gives me an error stating that file can't be read.
Is there a way to save the pics from Library window in lightroom overcoming the card read errors ?

Thank you for your response. Here is the error message I am receiving, I tried with various destination folders in the computer but it still gives the same error:. Just to let you know, I am able to import pictures into these folders from other memory cards.
I am able to finally at least extract the jpgs using the option suggested by elie-d

I cannot upload to youtube from within the iMovie or the files exported to the finder. Any ideas?

How can I delete any music file from iPod touch? I couldn,t by iPod nor iTunes.

- With iOS 5 yuo can swipe the cong and a delete button shows up. Tap the delete button
- You can also connect the iPod to your computer and unckeck/deselect the songs in iTuns on the computer and then sync.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

can anyone pls help me on how i can upload file from a client machine to another machine (or server). using jsp.Then later on, i can also retrieve the names of these files to place it as values for option tag in an html form.I have a seperate screen for uploading the file and the screen for displaying all the files that were uploaded on the server...
any sample code/ ideas would be much appreciated.Thx!!!!

actually in my application i have to upload file from client m/c to server.
it is not possible through file i/p stream as fileStreams does not work on network. Please mail me if you have any solution to this.

Problem uploading files from Dreamweaver CS3 to Yahoo

I am having a problem uploading files from Dreamweaver CS3 to
an FTP site on Yahoo.
The error message I get is "No response from server.
Reconnecting..."
I am able to connect to Yahoo using other FTP clients
successfully.
I am able to connect to Yahoo using Dreamweaver MX 2004
successfully.
I tried playing with various settings (i.e. passive ftp,
server compatibility options) but to no avail.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

My backend is only for admin, so they are the only ones who can access the
upload pages. My concern is an images folder on the site being 777. Can't

Uploading Files From VC (invoking RFC) into ECC

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement which consist of uploading files (from any PC) XML or PDF extension into ECC. I need to do this with a web UI. I got no experience with CE 7.1 (and above) and I just wonder if it is possible from CE 7.1 VC or CE 7.2 VC uploading files into ECC with an RFC development. Is there any uploading component available in VC 7.X which I am not aware of ???

SAP NetWeaver EP 7 (1 server)
ECC SAP invoice manage (1 server)
*Open Text - Invoice Content (1 server)
My requirement is to built a Web User Interface Portal for uploading files (from any computer) and save it into ECC and OpenText Server. I would like to do this with VC but there is no any component for uploading files (not available in NetWeaver 7).
I do not know if it is a component for uploading files available in CE 7.1 VC or higher and I really would like to know and request for this installation.

Unable to upload files from local computer to remote server (Was: Dreamweaver)

I have lost the connection between the remote location and the local location for files on my computer. Where to I correct this issues, since I cannot upload files from local to remote. Host server from server to my computer works fine, Running Dell computerr XP operating system with CS3 Dreamweaver. Need all the help I can get.
