Uploading from Lightroom (PC) to Revel on Ipad/Iphone

Trying to use Lightroom Publishing Manager. I cannot get passed "log on to Revel" I know my Adobe, facebook and email password. Never know I had a "Revel" password. Any advice on finding "Revel" password. Or another way to upload photos to Revel from my PC?

**Lightroom 4.4 Publish to Revel Update**
If you are still experiencing trouble with uploading images from Lightroom to Revel, please visit this document which describes downloading and installing the updated plug-in which contains the client-side fixes.
If you have not updated to Lightroom 4.4 yet, please do so first then install the updated plugin.
Launch the Lightroom application, then click on the "Help" Menu & select "Check for Updates".
Proceed with downloading the update and install the software.
After that is complete, then install the updated plugin that is in the following link.

I know what you mean (image below). They go in the Lightroom folder, under pictures, in a randomly named folder. You can always drag them from this folder into your catalog, but I don't know of any way to reset the location or name of the folder. It is a different random name for each mobile device you connect (in the example shown, I have two iPhones and an iPad).

Switching to MacBook Pro from Windows (finally!) - Help with iPad & iPhone Sync

I will this week be switching my computing life from a Dell notebook to a MacBook Pro. I am elated, of course. One of my - few - concerns, however, is iTunes. What is the best way to sync my iPhone & iPad (which, until now have been synced to and managed by my Dell) without losing all content (music including playlists, contacts, pictures, etc.)? Is there a way to perform a backup and then move the backup file before I sync on the MacBook pro?

If you used iTunes on your Dell, then all you have to do is replace the iTunes folder on your Mac with the iTunes folder from your Windows. You should do this before starting iTunes on your Mac for the first time. Then, when you open up iTunes after replacing the folder with all your content, your iTunes will just treat it as if you've always had the same content. This is what I did before, except I had to reinstall my Mac OS, so I just copied the Mac iTunes folder, but on Windows it has the same file name, in the music section, I think.

In preferences turn on iTunes sharing in iTunes preferences and keep iTunes turned on in both accounts. Or better yet put the iTunes library on the main HD rather than in an account and set the location of the library to that location in iTunes preferences.

Blurb print from Lightroom seems to be 150 ppi, how can I fix it?

I uploaded a small book directly from Lightroom to Blurb and when I received it, the print quality was atrocious.
I've been going back & forth with Blurb support, but they don't seem to be able to answer my question.
I did a bit of troubleshooting on my own by saving the project as .pdf and .jpg rather than exporting it to Blurb. The .pdf and .jpg exports look fine and print fine at home.
As an experiment, I tried reducing the ppi on the .pdf export to 150. This .pdf looks a exactly like the books that came from blurb.
Customer support has offered to re-print the books, but I'm concerned that I will get the same product unless we change something.
Has anyone encountered this problem before?
Does anyone know of settings (print, pdf export, etc) that impact the Blurb upload from Lightroom, or is this entirely on Blurb's side of things?
Should I just punt on the direct Lightroom export and upload the 300 ppi .pdf to Blurb?

I am not sure that that is right as when I have printed books they have been 300ppi, have a look at: Use Blurb and profiles
And "Blurb prints at 300 dpi. If an image is less than 300 dpi, a warning icon appears in the upper-right corner of the image cell in the preview area."

How can I process pics in Lightroom that I have uploaded from my IPad? I have managed to copy pics from the IPad into a file located in My Lightroom Pictures (and located on an external Hard Drive), which is where I put all my pictures. I an see the file in Finder and can even work with them as a Project in IPhoto, but nothing happens in Lightroom.

To import photos from your iPad into your Windows computer, I would suggest that you use the steps in this article -

Note that by default the pictures are placed in the “My Pictures” folder. Once imported you can see your photos there and use whatever application you want to view or manage them.

Adjust image resolution from Lightroom into Revel

Anyone know how to change the upload resolution into Revel from Lightroom? It currently is 240dpi I need 300dpi. I can change it when I upload/export into my hard drive.

How to Publish to Revel from Lightroom using a Facebook Account

I signed in to my Revel Account using my Facebook Account. I'm trying to publish from Lightroom but it's not accepting my Facebook ID and Password. How do I publish from Lightrrom using a Facebook account or how do I switch my Revel Facebook login to my Adobe login? Any help is appreciated.

To set up publishing to Revel 1.10 is easy in Lightroom 4. I would suggest that you update to Lightroom 4.4 first. You can goto the help menu in Lightroom and then select " Check for updates" then update to version 4.4. Also make sure you have updated to Revel 1.10

Here you will see the Lightroom Publishing Manager. Click on the Revel tab and then select Authorize Revel button. You will then be prompted to sign into your Revel account. If your Facebook account log in information is not working then I would suggest to log in with your Adobe ID. You are best to do that anyway.
In the image below you can see that I created separate albums for pictures. Then you can drag your photos to these folders and click publish. Then check your Adoberevel.com to see if the images show. Once you see that they uploaded in the upperleft of Lightroom, then you should see the images show in Revel.
You can publish to Facebook from Lightroom the same way. Just click on the facebook tab on the publishing manager and authorize the Facebook connection with your Facebook log information. You will then be prompted to log into your Facebook account thru a browser.

It is so compliv=cated. U had yo find in troubleshootung sime ways. Then i found so many files in the profile menu that have been filed .I had to open every one to choose the right one that never found Then nothing could be done No way to revert.I had decide to uninstall the firefox Then i ttried the restore system way and it worked.
In any case these add ons of persona are comletely silly.So many unfitting colors and no way to revert.Only to choose a different stupi d icon.Too silly for my sense of style

I have "Office for Macs" already on my desktop Mac but if I buy an iPad I will need it on that too.

Fold over four times. Align with power/sync connector. Tap gently with hammer.
Seriously, you need to copy the files on to your Mac and then transfer them to the appropriate app on the iPad. This is the procedure for DATA files.
"Office for Mac" is a group of applications written for the Mac and will NOT function on an iPad. Consequently, there is no way that you can get it onto the iPad.
