Uploading in CCM

Hii all,
Here I have a situation where I have a catalog already uploaded in the system, now I want to make changes to the schema of that supplier catalog and I need to change the schema of the procurement catalog also related to that supplier catalog and the schema of the Master catalog also.
My question is If I change the schema of the master catalog and Procurement catalog, do i need to publish the whole catalog or only publish changes. If i change the Schema of master catalog do i need to map again from master catalog to other procurement catalogs again.
Other option is shall i remove the supplier catalog and the procurement catalog which i need to make changes from the system and create them again in the system, even though I remove the supplier and procurement catalog from the system and create them again, I need to make changes to the master schema.
So Plz advice me what to do.Its urgent.I will award you points for sure.

• SRM Contract Upload in CCM

Hi,
We are using SRM 5.0 with CCM 2.0 We have configured XI for uploading the product master data and contract upload using the Intergration scenarios MasterDataInclusion and UploadContract.
When we run the report bbp_ccm_transfer_catalog, the report executes successfully and also in SXMB_moni, it says the message has been processed succesfully, but when we check in CCM, there is no SRM Product catalog created.
also when we create a contract in SRM, and release it, the same is not getting uploaded in CCM. We have checked the option "Distribute to Catalog" while creating the contract and all relevant configurations are also done and working fine. In this also, it is showing that the message has been processed successfully, but no contract is there in CCM.
Please help,

Puneet,
Hi. I am responing re the product transfer....
With the transaction SXMB_moni - did you run this in SRM or XI. When you transfer the products this calls in XI, and XI calls back to CCM. I found that although our products transfered correctly to XI (SXMB_MONI was correct in SRM) our data didn't call back to CCM correctly (SXMB_MONI failed in XI) due to a locked user id/password error.
Cheers

• Material/service master catalog upload (ECC-CCM)

SRM have 2 possible scenarios to upload the material master data to CCM:
1- Upload material master data from ECC to SRM and, after, from SRM to CCM.
2- Upload material master data directly from ECC to SRM.
Does anybody know the name of the transaction or report in ECC to upload the material/service master catalog directly to CCM?

Hi All-
I have about 3 tricky questions concerning CCM-ECC Integration
1.) Does anybody have any idea on how to upload Material and Service master from ECC 6.0 directly into the CCM 2.0 system. Is there any standard program like we have in SRM called as BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG. I
2.) Also are there any complications or is it possble to integrate CCM 2.0 directly from ME51n? I am aware that PM and PS out-of-the-box can be directly integrated to CCM. Is there a similar way to achieve this functionality. If yes can anybody give me some pointers on this.
3.) Are there any complications involved with uploading service masters and interfacing CCM to EBP or ECC and directly using the service master from CCM to create a Shopping cart (CCM-EBP) or a purchase requisition (CCM-ECC).
I hope some one can throw some light on these questions.

• Error during upload pictures in CCM 2.0 via CVS file

Hello everybody,
We're using SRM5.0 and CCM2.0.
I'm trying to upload (via CVS upload) pictures but during the upload in the supplier catalog following error message appears: Value for catalog item xxx (supplier part number) of supplier xxx is incorrect.
This errors appears only when we add our picture characteristics which are in our upload file : /CCM/PICTURES#/CCM/URL and also /CCM/PICTURES#/CCM/DESCRIPTION.
We put all pictures in MIME repository and also put the MIME repositerory URL link on schema level into procurement catalog. We're using "Pictures" characteristic. But I know that characteristic "Image" also exists. What do I have to use? Do I have to put something specific into cahracteristic /CCM/PICTURE (our OCI field is still empty there...)?
It would be great if somebody can help me on that,
Regards,
Caroline

Hi,
I don't understand very well, the standard characteristic for images is /CCM/PICTURE.
It's a complex characteristic composed by
/CCM/DESCRIPTION
/CCM/URL
/CCM/MIME_TYPE. (for example image/jpeg).
If your problems still exist, you can send me your file

• CCM Catalog Mass upload problem

Dear Experts,
Could you please help me to find an answer to the below issue?
We are doing a mass catalog upload in CCM 2.0 => we are uploading our CSV file as follows:
Supplier ID A => Supplier name A => Item details A
Supplier ID B => Supplier name B => Item details B
etc.
Usually, I give the first Supplier ID when creating the Supplier catalog.
The upload process is working fine, BUT...
When the catalog has been uploaded, from the Procurement Catalog side there is only the first "Supplier ID A" what's beeing uploaded to all of the items instead of all the other respective Supplier IDs.
Therefore we have to change the rest of the Supplier IDs by mass changing the respective Proc Cat.
Do you know how we could keep all the other Supplier IDs?
Thanks a lot - imre

• CCM 2.0 - Files Storage for high volume of files

Hi all,
I have seen in one message the following information:
1. Files storage.
My point is that I think you've created a virtual folder on the SRM Server in SICF, which means that all your files are stored internally in the database, and not physically on the server.
The most simple way is to create a physical folder on the server OS, and then create analias in SICF to this folder. You then will be abble to load in mass the pictures on the server using FTP, or network Share.
I want to upload images in the Catalog (CCM 2.0) and in my case I have high volume of files. Where is the best place to stored this data, in the database or in the server?
And if it is in the server, how I can create an alias?
Many thanks!!
Regards

Hi ,
What we had done for image upload for CCM 2.0 was like this:
1. in SE80 go to MIME repository -> drill down to services -> bc /sap/bsp - >Create a personal folder
2. Import your image .jpeg in this folder.
3. Derive an URL with the structue : server name/domain name/services/file name
4. test this URL in IE browser ,it should open the picture in IE for you.
5. then paste this URL in the characteristic 'image' of an item in master catalog in CAT
with this in EBP we could see the photos of the items.

• CCM 2.0 edit catalog question

Hello group,
We have several catalogs in SRM but now want to start using CCM and a master catalog. I've configured everything with the configuration fact book CCM 2.0. And can start editing the master catalog. But now I'm lost. I would like to have just one item in the catalog. Have read that you should upload schema's, but I don't know how to make csv's for that. I've made a schema and a catagory, and can assign new made fields to them, but I don't want to make a mapping from nothing. Now I also cannot get rid of the schema and try something else.
Does anyone have a helpfull link or can anyone tell me what to do?

• Problem in replicating the material from SRM to CCM

Hi SRM gurus
We have material created in ECC6 and replicated to SRM, but the same material is not being replicated to CCM. Back ground job for program BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG is running.
we are on SRM 5.0, Extended calssic scenario.

Hi
Which CCM version are you using ? What steps are you doing ?
CatalogUpdateNotification_Out is configuration on XI for the location of the XI server.
When you run report BBP_CCM_TRANSFER_CATALOG this sends the materials to the XI server, when then sends that back to the CCM instalation (on our system this is the same client/box as the SRM application). Once there the catalog can be published through the authoring tool to the respective catalog, or a report could run to send this out.
I would suggest looking at the config guide for CCM2 - it goes through what you need step by step. Incase you don't have the same, i can email at your mail id, if any.

• CCM QUERIES

Hi All,
We are running on SRM 4.0(Classic Scenario). We are starting with the CCM 2.0 configuration now.We have installed both CAT & CSE on the same client as SRM.Regarding the initial configuration,I wanted some clarifications to my queries:-
1> The config guides say that the Catalog Schema should be in CSV format. What is CSV format?
2> Currently we just have seperate image files(JPEG format). Will the product data need to be uploaded from SRM to CAT through XI?And ,If so,How are the images and product data synchronised??
Thanks & Regards,
Disha.

Hi Disha,
1> CSV format is a flat file format with ";" or "|" as a separator.
These files can be generated from Microsoft Excell.
The detail of this format is available here CSV 2.0 detail
2> You installed CAT and CSE on the same client, so XI is only required if you want to upload files in XML format. If you only want to use CSV format, XI is not required.
Concerning images, it is not part of the upload in CCM. You have to include in your ulploaded files the URL to the images (complete or relative if you've maintain the Mime- path parameter on the catalog schema). The images and mime files are to be published manually on a web server to be accessible in CSE.
Regards.

• CCM in same client. advantages & drawbacks.

Hi everybody,
I am in a new implementation with CCM 2 as purchasing catalog, and I have a doubt. I have read the landscape options document and I understand when I should use CAT & CSE in different systems. But I don't know which are the reasons for deciding to work with SRM and CCM in the same or in differents clients. Some clear thinkings about this?

Hi
It is generally optional and depends on the complexity of your system landscape - Incase it is working fine in a one single client, then you don't need to go for multiple clients landscape.
