Uploading iPhone Photos To Facebook

How do you do this? I send photos to [email protected] like they say to do but this never works. It always comes back saying facebook doesn't recognize the file. Does anyone know how to do this?

Does the site, or sites, that you want to upload to have their own apps ? If not then you could try the iCab Mobile browser which works on some sites.
With iOS 6 in the Autumn (if you have an iPad 2 or the most recent iPad), then it looks like you might then be able to do it via Safari.

I have used the address bar frequently since the problem began. I just checked my History record, it is blank and has no entries since I cleared it several days ago. (Had a rouge search engine that I accidentally downloaded when I was trying to get Firefox 3. I finally got rid of all traces and in the process cleared the history. But there should be at least 2 or 3 days of history and my bookmarks are ok! Auto complete is set to use both.

I already used Find my Iphone app but i cannot track it because it is offline.

The only way to track an iPhone is if you turned on Find My Phone in Settings > iCloud before it was lost, then login to your iCloud account, click Find My Phone and see if it shows up. To show up it must be turned on and connected to the internet.
If the iPhone did not have protections invoked and someone found/stole it and restored to factory condition, and then activated with a different number, there is no way to track or find it.
If it has been stolen or lost you can report that to your carrier and see if they offer blacklisting...that will block it from ever being activated by another person.

Hello iv recently transferred my photos to my iphone from my laptop 3600 photos but when i go to upload a photo to facebook it will only access my camera roll photos not the 3600 ones.. can somebody please help.

I am having same issue! After May 14 FB update, I can't choose ANY photos from my photo library to upload to FB mobile. It's ONLY allowing me to select from Camera Roll. It works from ipad and ipod, just not iphone 5? I used to get choices from all of my photos in Photo Library. And it has nothing to do with the privacy settings, etc that users experienced with update to IOS6. Everything is enabled and WAS working prior to may14 FB app update. Funny thing is, on the May 13 update that FB had it worked fine. When they did May 14 update, that was it. I've sent and posted notices on those discussion boards too. Hopefully they will fix soon.

Using iOS6 to upload my photos to Facebook. Photos don't show up on my wall.

I'm having problems using the iOS 6.1 to post photos on Facebook. Normally what I would do is select a photo from my camera roll and post that photo on my FB wall through the iOS "share" feature.
Lately, this hasn't been working for me. The photos do get uploaded, but they appear in the iOS photo album and not on my wall.
Would you guys know how to solve this problem?

I believe that is how it works now, if the new FB update.
Any question you have re: facebook, you should take it up with the developer or look at their support site.
This has nothing to do with Apple or the iphone itself.

Uploading Iphone photos to Elements 12

When I installed Elements 12 awhile back, I noticed it started uploading my iphone photos automatically. I don't recall making any setting adjustments to make that happen. Now, I have a new iphone and Elements doesnt upload the iphone photos anymore. What do I have to do to make that happen. (I wasn't using revel).

You can try using an iPhone app like 'Photo Transfer App' to download your photos from your computer to your computer. You can transfer up to 50 pictures at one time using your computer's web browser over wifi so you don't have to use iTunes or any other software.

IPhoto won't upload my photos to facebook

I created an album in iPhoto and I click on Share in the bottom right of my screen and select facebook. It creates an album on facebook and says it's uploading thumbnails then finishes. I check Facebook and the album is there but none of the photos are uploaded. If I try and manually add photos from Facebook the ones in the album cannot be selected. I'm having the same problem with an existing album on Facebook. I added some new photos to it within iPhoto and selected them to share and it only uploaded a few.

It's a know problem with iPhoto so we'll have to wait until the next iPHoto updater is released. In the mean time we you'll have to upload photos the old fashion way like you've already done, manually.

Uploading iphone photos to windows surface RT tablet

Hi, sadly i've realised that I cannot download itunes on to my Windows Surface RT tablet which I purchased in order to get rid of my PC at home. All I wanted to do was upload my photos and videos from my iphone and ipad to the tablet. Does anyone know how I can do this?

Welcome to the HP Community! The Print and Scan Doctor is a great tool for diagnosing and fixing printing issue but unfortunately Windows RT doesn't allow executable files to run. Windows RT isn't really a full operating system it is more a partial operating system.
There are a few things that you can try. I would start by power cycling the printer and the router. Unplug both of them and wait for 30 seconds, then plug in the router and wait another 30 seconds and then plug in the printer. Sometimes the router just needs a friendly “kick” to see the printer properly.
You can also try the steps in this link about Document Does Not Print and see if that will help the Surface see the printer. Give everything a try and let me know how it goes.

Can I upload iphone photos to a portable external hard drive?

Hey guys, I am going on a 2 month back packing trip in Iceland this summer. I will basically be wilderness camping the entire time and am planning on taking a bunch of photos. I'm a iphoneographer so I can easily see myself taking upwards of 5000 photos on this trip.
My question is this, is there a mobile hard drive that will allow me to upload photos from my phone on to it in the wilderness? I have a bunch of external batteries so I don't see myself running out of charge but I stupidly bought an iPhone 5 with only 16 gbs and I know I'm gonna fill it up way too quickly.
I saw that morphy is going to release a case that adds 16 or 32 gb storage but I would love to try and get other options on the table too choose from.

I would reccomend, if possible, to bring a computer along. Due to there being no way to directly transfer to an external hard drive, a laptop would be your best bet.

I'm unable to upload iPhone photos since loading 10.6

I get an 'unknown format' message when I try to upload photos from the iPhone - though iPhoto is able to read the file names - all .jpeg. Worked fine with OSX 10.5 - anyone else seeing this?

Try restarting the iPhone by holding the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears> then slide to turn off> and turn the iPhone back on by pressing the Sleep/Wake again, as described on page 46 of the iPhone User Guide.

Where did the photos come from? Were they saved from Safari?

"Via iOS" will show if you "share" a photo from the Photos app. It will not show if you post the photo from within the Facebook app.

When trying to upload a photo into facebook or craigslist using FF25 I'm unable to access stored photos on my computer. How can this be resolved?

No one said anything about their being old, troublesome versions causing the problem. Sometimes, at no fault of Mozilla or Firefox, installations can become corrupt. This presents the need to erase the install and start over. It takes only a few minutes to accomplish and should only be required on rare occasion unless there is something seriously wrong with the computer. Your claim that "it's untested" is simply unwarranted, false and does nothing to assist with this issue. This does not appear to be a systemic issue with Firefox 25, so a local root cause is most likely.

Has anyone else had issues uploading photos to facebook?

My IPhone 5, which was set up as brand new phone (not from a backup) won't upload my photos to facebook. The internet connection is worse than it was in the exact same places with my Iphone 4! Is anyone else having this problem?
I can hardly ever upload anything to facebook, and tonight after not being able to do it at my friend's house, I'm sitting at home with all my bars and it's still saying it failed to upload???!!!
Come on Apple, get with it. What good are built in icons for twitter and facebook of they —along with the apps on our phones don't work. I can't believe I'm missing aspects of my old Iphone 4

Thank you for the suggestion. I followed it and had the exact same problem again sitting here in my office where all my bars are full. Plus it's usually the fastest early in the morning. Instead it takes forever for the loading bar to show the photo being uploaded until finally it says upload failed.
This is definitely something that needs to be fixed. All my friends have IPhones on the same carrier as I do, yet I was the only one who couldn't do anything on facebook or upload the photos we were taking —let's just say nobody was sorry that they hadn't purchased this new phone yet.
Now I'm off to the Apple store for a diagnostic to see if I got a particularly buggy phone.

You may be running iLife '09 which has iPhoto 8.
The App Store version of iLife ‘11 programs (iPhoto 9.4.3, iMovie, iDVD, Garage Band & iWeb) will only work with 10.7 or 10.88 with the latest update requiring 10.9. You can get the iLife ’11 DVD which will run on 10.6 on eBay or Amazon.com fairly cheap.
