Uploading Kuler Theme into Muse?

I've saved a theme in Kuler, downloaded it as an .asa file. In Muse, I tried to find or upload it from the Library and the asa file is grayed out, not able to select it.

Crummy that there's no Kuler import yet, but I've just been taking a screen cap of the smaller saved Kuler strip on my "My Themes" Kuler page and then placing it in my Muse doc. From there I either resample and save them as color swatches or leave out off of the page's edge to sample from as needed. Some of the resampled hex codes are exact others are so close that they're not very discernible, and you can adjust easily enough if needed. Odd thing is, placing the same sampled Kuler image in Illustrator is substantially more "off", probably due to Illustrator's color management. When you place the Kuler screen sample strip in Photoshop and select "Don't color manage this document" in the "advanced/color profile:" drop-down of the new document creation dialog box, the hex codes are exact. Adobe needs just make Kuler a part of the color swatch panel in ALL of their products so you can just browse and install your saved themes. I don't even want to have to load them, I'm on CC, they should just be there.

When I upload the theme using the program I get some folders,
like Common, r, UR
when cross checked with the standard I see css files are missing when uploading.
please help me on resolving this.

solved went with WD_THEMES report to upload the theme to R/3 system.

Need help uploading mp4 file into Muse

Help please!
I have a very nice quality, short animation I want to add to my Muse website's home page, but am stuck on putting the video file into the site. I have found that I need to change the mp4 into a swf (flash) file, but I couldn't get that to work either. (Flash gives me the error: "One or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them." when trying to import the mp4 and mov file to convert to swf. I have tried HTML5 also, but can't seem to get the code right.
Can anyone help me get this video file into a Muse site? If that means I just copy a piece of code and put it into Muse that would be great. If it means I just have to drag and drop, that would be even better! (dreaming a little bit!)

Why do my photos have a green tint when placing them into Muse?

I am placing photos of portraits into Muse and the colors look terrible. There is a green tint that dulls down the pictures.Top is one of the originals, and bottom is a screenshot in Muse.

over the last years- but 15 weeks specifically I have downloaded photos from my camers card- putting it straight into the apple mac and then opening IPHOTO then i am able to click and put the pics into my folders in IPHOTO but as of 2 days ago - the camera card went in, the pics opened BUT there is an error message which states iphoto cannot save them to file......as they are JPEGS
I can see that others too have had this issue and there are 'answers' but I am a complete novice and cannot understand the answers given and need someone to 'hand hold me' through a step by step this is what you must do....
so hope that now is cleared as to why there is a 'problem'

Hi Steve,
Simply unzip the downloaded template. Then in Muse in the file menu at the top select open site. Then browse to the .muse file from the download.

Help! Photoshop edited jpg color distorts when imported into Muse

Okay, so I am trying to build a photography webpage (among others) and I edit most of my photos in photoshop. All photos that I edit in photoshop and save to jpg, look great when printed, uploaded to facebook, etc. however when I import them into Adobe Muse for and put them on my webpage, the colors of the photos become desaturated and/or slightly distorted (so that they look dull). When I edit images in lightroom and save them as jpg and import them into Muse, they look fine, but colors edited in photoshop seem to mess up my photos when imported into Muse.
What am I doing wrong?!

You are using some odd color management settings and not converting to sRGB most likely... Check your settings in PS itself and the Save for Web dialog and experiment around.

Is there an easy way to create or import tables into muse

I'm trying to create a website that used tables for things like league tables and results, but I need an easy way of placing them into muse.
I've had a go at creating tables in dreamweaver and importing the resulting html and i've created tables in Indesign and imported them as jpegs, but this obviously then does not allow me to edit on the fly.
Can anybody help.

We hope so. From my experience with indesign cs5.5. The export to HTML feature does not maintain the layout of an indesign document. You will require a developer with knowledge of HTML to style accordingingly in DW. I don't think this is an intended workflow by Adobe. Until then I dont think Muse or Indesign will export to HTML while maintaining the integrity of the layout design including adaptive fluid layout support. The closest the Adobe team have been able to do is to export to epub format.
My observation, Adobe should have given print designers option of exporting indesign files to Muse(With support for fluid/adaptive layout just as the export to epub format is supported). That way the fear of killing another tool in the Adobe bouquet won't arise. Something like 'Export to Muse' in Indesign cs6 would have been the killer. Why? Web design trend is converging with print design metaphor. I think Adobe should be leading that trend now. Tomorrow might be too crowded.

Kuler Themes to Behance customize Profile?

Hey guys, new CC member crossgaded from CS6 PP and pretty excited about the new tools. One of these new tools is the Kuler app and I was wandering if I can import a Kuler theme into Behance customize Profile?

If you have the menu bar that is provided by your Ubuntu OS as part of Unity then it may not be possible to do this unless you would disable that integration and restore Firefox's own menu bar.

TS1501 transferring a small batch of photos from the new ipad to macbook pro (this way you can upload one album at a time, file them into a new album on macbook pro) Pls. advise.

If the Photos are under 'Last Import' or 'Last N Months' then they are in the Library somewhere, just not where you are expecting them to be. We know this as both Last Import and 'Last N Months' are not places, just listings of elements in the the Library.
The two most common reasons that they can't be found is either an incorrect date on the camera or the Sorting (View Menu -> Sort Photos - or Sort Events, as appropriate) has changed.
Quick route to find them: Right-click on one of the images in Last Import and select 'Show Event'. This will bring you to the image in the Library.

I upload from Adobe Bridge and manipulate the photo, sometimes turning them into files in excess of 250MB. I cannot resize as the large files are needed for enlargements. Have all sorts of problems trying to manipulate, add effects and saving most large files. I need some serious processing power. Can anyone suggest what Mac i should purchase? It sounds as if you're having some system-related problems now, unrelated to processing power as such. In particular, a buggy video driver can cause everything to slow to a crawl.
Medium format files are big, true, but not so big as to cause significant slowdowns on a normally functioning and reasonably current computer. A laptop will always be slower than a well-equipped desktop system, though. Mac vs PC plays no part in this, performance is unrelated to platform.
Bottlenecks are different in ACR and Photoshop, so that should give you a clue. ACR is computing-intensive and mostly limited by CPU speed. Photoshop, however, is mostly bandwidth-intensive and mainly limited by memory and disk throughput. It's also sensitive to GPU issues.

Yes. iTunes will report that your photos are now being accessed from iCloud Photo Library and will no longer sync photo and videos from your computer. If you have a Mac, you'll want to avoid enabling it until OS X Yosemite in introduced along with it's built-in photo app, which will have to ability to access iCloud Photo Library. (Note: the Photos app may not be introduced concurrently with Yosemite, but is supposed to follow "early next year".)
