Uploading large number of contacts from proprietary Software

I want to uploaod 75,000 contacts into my new Blackberry Z10. The old device ran out of steam at about 30,000 so I want to transfer directly from my contact management system. I can export to xls or to outlook but I don't see what has replaced the blackberry desktop manager, which is what i used before to import contacts into my device.
The help screens and forums talk about adding a contact (ie one contact) or transferring from a SIM. I need to do something different. Where do I do?
What exactly does Blackberry Link do, it talks about music and photos. mostly
I can't use the device without this.

Well, BlackBerry is most definitely not all about enterprise. Hasn't been for several years.
The Contact X has gotten great reviews on other sites (CrackBerry). And it's a low cost to try it out. Purchase on a credit card and if it doesn't work out, or even work as described, reject or dispute the charge with your card provider.

Then I suspect you do not have iTunes Match enabled. Using that "delete all" command in the Settings does not remove the music from the cloud, nor does it disable iTunes Match. With iTunes Match enabled you will still see all the music.
So go to Settings > iTunes and App Store and make sure iTunes Match is set to ON (green).

How to copy very large number of files from one drive to another???

I'm a fairly experienced Mac user for serveral years but this problem really has me stumped.
I'm trying to copy or move 152,000 files from one external drive to another drive. I can highlight (Cmd - A) all the files on the first drive and drag them to the second drive but Finder always shows 32,768 files being copied no matter what I try.
Any and all suggestions on how to move/copy a large number of files from one external drive to another are greatefully appreciated.

I would use the command line tool rsync.
For instance with: rsync -av source-dir destination-dir
-a The files are transferred in "archive" mode, which ensures that symbolic links, devices, attributes, permissions, ownerships, etc. are preserved in the transfer.
-v Verbose, so you see the progress.
Rsync is fast and really, really powerful and many times used in shell scripts and the like to automatically backup and/or sync stuff. Google a bit for more info.

Sending large number of emails from SharePoint

I am in a situation where we have to develop a solution using client side/ootb features of SP 2013 to send emails to a large number of users from a SharePoint list. The list will have 10000+ user information logically grouped. The user should be able
to select anyone or many groups to send emails notification. Each group can contain close to 5000+ user emails. The list can contain email ids of people outside the organization so SP groups cannot be used. Can you suggest a clean solution that will not
have a serious performance impact? Nintex workflows can also be considered if it will not affect the performance and if it is reliable in this situation. Appreciate any pointers/approach.

Delete large number of accounts from GL master

Hello All:
   Doing a large amount of Account deletion. There is no DI support on the topic, so I was trying to use UI on form 750.
I tried both method of either using the find button and then delete or search through matrix. -> click on the row to bring up the accounts and then activatemanul
   I am having problem for some reason, that after certain number of record found. The delete manual 5910 no longer works. It doesn't sent out exception nor does it do anything. If you try to manually do it it will still work. But I suppose just the progarm runs so fast that it can not catch up?
   I don't know if anyone has a better solution because I have tried several ways with no improvement. It sill locate the record fine, but wouldn't delete the accounts.It just go to the next record without doing anything!

Thanks, rkaufmann87, I've tried that many times thinking I can sneak up on it (funny when we're to the point to try ANYTHING)----AB not cooperating on that one, either. The group will delete, but the names/cards are still on the main list and won't delete from the main Address Book. If you "select all" it goes back to the Address Book main list, not the group which is wanting to be deleted.

Thanks for your answer. It works very poorly. I have tried a number of permutations, and each one fails in some way. If I try to copy ten names, it may just write the first few. if I highlight all the names in the source book, then the list name doesn't highlight when I move my cursor over it - only the other address books do that. I got the closest to success by exporting my entire source address book to a text file, removing the unwanted names by hand, and then importing only a few fields to a new address book - name and email address. When I highlight all the entries in this new address book and drag them to the target list, it copies MOST but not all of the entries. I have never seen drag and drop work so poorly. Any ideas?

Consider tables A,B,C,D,E,F. all are having 100000++ records Tables B,C,D are dependent on table A (with foreign key constraint). When I am deleting records from all tables, table B,C,D are taking max 30-40 seconds while table A is taking 30-40 mins. All tables are having indexes.
Method I have used:
1. Created Temp table
2. then deleted all records from B,C,D,E,F for all records in temp table for limit of 500.
delete from B where exists (select 1 from temp where b.col1=temp.col1);
3. please suggest options for me why it is taking too much time for deleting records in table A.
Is there any thing that during deleting data from such master table, it is reffering to all dependent tables even if dependent data is not present ??? If yes then couls you please please suggest options for me to remove this ? I hope it won't go for CHECK constraints during deleting data.

Is it On Delete Cascade? If yes, then in a way, deleting data fro Child tables is un-necessary. Only a Delete from parent shall suffice.

ALTER TABLE table_name
disable CONSTRAINT constraint_nameAnd then Delete the data from each of tables.
You did specify the number of rows in each table, it would have been better to mention the number of rows to be deleted.
It is not a hard-and-fast way, but would generally perform better, to copy the data (to be retained) from Parent Table into a Temporary Table, Drop Parent Table and rename teh Temporary table to parent table. Similar can be performed on Child tables.
You may then Enable the Foreign key constraints.

TS4079 Problems with Siri. Large number of contacts with similar names

I work for a retail company and have the locations of the stores listed in my phone as "Store 1, Store 2..." When I ask Siri to call a specific store, it is not unsderstanding me. I have tried editing the contacts to make it more symplistic but I keep getting weird responses. I do not have this problem when calling individuals. Has anyone else had this type of problem? If so, can it be fixed?
