Uploading local (bitnami) wordpress to live server

I've set up my first wordpress site using bitnami as my local host. I'm now ready to upload to the server (hostmasters.com) and I'm having all sorts of issues. I've tried four times and get a mess, some content, no images etc.
I removed it and starting over one more time. I now added wordpress application to the server and ready to add my content, css, images, uploads, etc. I've tried several different ways and wasn't successful and now I don't know what to try. Can anyone direct me to some assistance. Thank you!

Why not use the synchronize function? That way you never need
to
remember what was just update and where it lives. DW will
check over the
site and show a list of all files it thinks should be
updated. If you
don't want one changed, option to not update is there.

Using Dreamweaver CS6 with Bitnami WordPress

I am trying to get Dreamweaver setup to do dynamic editing of my WordPress files installed on my desktop with Bitnami.
My Bitnami WordPress Stack is installed to the following link: C:\WordPress\BitNami WordPress Stack\ and the path to the index.php is: C:\WordPress\BitNami WordPress Stack\apps\wordpress\htdocs
To setup Dreamweaver local site, I'm using the following settings: Server Name: Bitnami Connect Using: Local/Network Server Folder: C:\WordPress\BitNami WordPress Stack\apps\wordpress\htdocs\ Web URL: http://127.0.0.1h 8080/ (I've also tried it omitting the '8080/') (I've also tried the Web URL http://127.0.0.1/wordpress/) and, under the 'Advanced' tab, I'm using the Server Model: PHP MySQL for my url http://www.clicksearchmedia.com.au.
My problem is that when I open the index.php file in Dreamweaver's main window (split view) I do see the code on the left side of the page, but on the right side of the page (the 'design' side) all I get is a blank (white) box. When I try to open another page - for example wp-blog-header.php - the same thing happens (code on left, blank box on right).
When I try to open single.php, I get code on the left and the box on right has small symbols stating 'PHP' but no real design is visible and I get an error message on top of the screen that states 'Dynamically-related files could not be resolved because of an internal server error. Retry.'
I have my permalinks in WordPress set to default, as I have read that failure to do so has caused problems in Dreamweaver in other people's installations.
Can anyone help me out? Why am I not getting a dynamic preview?

The only files you should be looking at are the ones in your Themes folder. Everything else is just code fragements. Unless you're very experienced with PHP and more specifically WP programming, you shouldn't touch any of the Core WP files.
I've never used Bitnami. I typically use WAMP for my local site folder & local testing server.

Are you sure you are uploading the pages to the correct location?
Could you post a screen capture of your expanded files window, showing the remote server and local file structures?
I'm guessing they're not identical and that you may be uploading to a redundant root folder.

Error testing locally; works fine on remote server

I was about to post that I'd hit an error when trying to
create a
conditional region in DW 8 with ASP, CF & PHP: Training
from the Source.
Rather than paste the non-PHP code, I uploaded the page to my
remote server.
When I browsed to the link, the error wasn't there.
I inserted the code for the conditional region just before
the opening
<form> tag, as the book instructed (Lesson 6).

Upload an excel file in the server with a background job

I am trying to upload an excel file in the server, but i only can upload flat files, i can upload files in local with the function ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE, can i use this function reading an excel file in the server, or is there another possibility of uploadinging an excel file in the server with a background job ?

Hi
First read the file from the server to some temporary place at presentation layer and then open it. And if required, save it to the server afterwards. To read/write files to application server you can use:
1. Statements "OPEN DATASET/CLOSE DATASET".
2. There are some FMs for server file operations, like "C13Z_FILE_UPLOAD_BINARY" and "C13Z_FILE_DOWNLOAD_BINARY".

Hello,
This is possible.
If you report has to be executed in background using schedule Job. Then the file path should be constant and it can be hard coded in the report itself while populationg the internal table.
Then create a variant for your report and use that variant in the job.
This will solve your problem I guess.

Hello,
First, we need to determine the terms we are using, in order to avoid confusion. We (including the documentation) are using "upload" to describe storing the file on the server, and "download" to pull it from the server into local machine.
You can use the "File Browse" item to upload any file you need from your local machine and into a database table. The default APEX configuration (in the dads.conf file) stored the uploaded file in a table called wwv_flow_file_objects$. In your application, you can access this table using a view called APEX_APPLICATION_FILES.
After you uploaded a file, any user can access it, using the download procedure described in the reference I gave you. The download procedure gives you an option to store the download file anywhere you need, using the "Open/Save" dialog box.
I believe this is covering everything you need. If you still having problems, please consider posting the relevant application pages on apex.oracle.com. It will be easier to understand and help you.

Preloader not working on live server???

Hi Guys
My application loads many XML files as it's content. I have
written preloading code everywhere a file needs to be loaded, it
looks something like this.

The code works perfectly in flash while running in simulate
download mode, I have also tested it from about 5 different pc's
around the company and in multiple browsers and have had no problem
whatsoever. Today I loaded it onto the live server and these
statements are just getting totally ignored and the movie just
continues playing! It's also happenning inall browsers. I have
checked the code, tried to write different variations of it and
nothing works.
If anyone has any ideas why I would be very greatful.

movie loads content from the local computer it works fine, but the
content it is on the server the following test never becomes true.

How to upload and down load Document from Server in Webdynpro Java

Hi,
I have to upload and download document to the server and from the server.
The examle and the sample application which is available in SDN is not helpful as its about uploading and downloading from the application context.Please let me know how to upload/download from teh server.

Upload PDF to DMS using FTP server in WD abap

Hi Friends,
I want to upload PDF file from presentation server to DMS. As I dont want application server in this regards , so am using FTP server instead. But the problem am facing is in WD abap the filepath is in XSTRING format. So how to upload Xstring pdf file in FTP server and how can i pull the same data to DMS server.
My problem is just how to upload PDF in FTP server using web dynpro abap. The FM 'BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2' will upload the same PDF file from FTP to DMS server.
