Uploading Macintosh tifs

I'm having problems uploading Macintosh Tiff files through the intermedia web agent. I get the following error:
IMG-00704, "unable to read image data"
Has anyone had any experience with handling files originating from Macs?

How about some details in the TIFF files...
Are they tiled tiff? Multi-image TIFF?
Are they compressed? If so, what's the compression format?

Hi
You can upload logo using SE78 or using program RSTXLDMC
or by using OAER
Steps for uploading Logo :-:
1. Goto the transaction OAER
2. Enter the class name as 'PICTURES'
3. Enter the class type as 'OT'
4. Enter the object key as the name of the logo you
wish to give
5. Execute
6. Then in the new screen select Standard doc. types
in bottom window
Click on the Screen icon
Now, it will ask for the file path where you have
to upload the logo
7. Now you can use this logo
To create a logo in SAP printouts just do the following
1. Save a Logo using Imaging, Paint shop Pro or Corel Draw as Tiff file.
2. Run program RSTXLDMC and enter the following parameters
Enter file name C:\COMPLOGO.TIF
UOM CM
Line width for text 132
Text name ZHEX-MACRO-COMPLOGO
Text ID ST
Text language = E
Number of Tiff gray levels (2,4,9) 2
3. Then Create a new window 'COMP' with attributes;
Window COMP description Company Logo
Left margin 7.00 CH window width 10.00 CH
Upper margin LN window height 8.00 LN
Finally in the text element, mention
/: INCLUDE 'ZHEX-MACRO-COMPLOGO' OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE 'E'.
Please note that if object name is not indicated as 'ZHEX...’ the logo may not be printed!
You will not be able to see the logo in a test print. The same will be printed in actual printout.
SMARTFORM

4) Select any picture and set its Resolution in DPI
5) Press F9 to open Smart Forms Builder, Select window (Window1) and In Output options window set, size and position of the Logo
6) Set any other parameters if required, save and activate.
7) If there is only 1 Window in the forms, set it as Main Window in general attributes.
8) Use TCode SE78 to upload new pictures and logos.

Hi!
You might try out to upload the file, through the stadard transaction SE78.
You can upload not only BMP, but TIFF file format here. When you are looking for the file, just set the file filter from BMP to TIFF.

If you create an XML document and upload it to the Windows SharePoint Services Web site. The Windows SharePoint Services adapter will take that message, archive it in the Archive document library, and then send it to the Destination document library. This
procedure demonstrates how a document flows from a Sharepoint web site, through BizTalk Server, and to a Sharepoint Services Web site using the Windows Sharepoint Services adapter.
This MSDN library article shows the procedure, please check whether it will be helpful to troubleshoot.

• Split TIF document with multiple pages

Hi,
Iu2019m using function module 'SCMS_HTTP_GET' to retrieve TIF document from Filenet. The TIF document returned has multiple pages. Iu2019m able to retrieve the document with no issue. What I need to do is split the TIF document for each page.
Is there a way in ABAP to split the TIF on each page break?
The reason I need to split is later in program I call FM SSFC_BASE64_ENCODE passing data to Adobe form that uses IMAGE FIELD object to display TIF. I have no issue displaying TIF with 1 page on adobe form. But if there are multiple pages only the first page is displayed in the Adobe PDF. I was thinking if I could split the TIF that contains multiple page into individual TIF I would then pass in table to PDF form to display all pages of the TIF.
Appreciate the help,
Gary

Hi,
I'm also in the same situation. I am uploading the TIf file with multiple pages, but only the first page is printing. Did you get any luck in either printing all pages OR program which can spilt...
Thanks,
Sarma

• PS7 - tif files squished upon opening.

File>Open an existing tif file and it opens squished.
Can't figure out.
Is there a settings option?

The forum won't allow to upload a tif.
The files display correctly via Windows Photo Viewer, but soon as opened in PSE, the file is stretched vertically, skewing the image.

• DMXzone Smart Image Processor .tif file issue

I'm using the DMXzone ASPupload & smart image processor.
I'm having an issue creating thumbnails from .tif files. All other
formats work well. I've tried using the the server component that
came with the product, the .net component, and ASPupload component.
None seem to work.
I REALLY NEED HELP!

You are correct. The DMXzone smart image processor will
upload the .tif, then resize it and convert it to a .jpg file. The
.tif file is stored so that you can download it by clicking a link.
The app I've built is an image gallery. JPG thumbnails with
links to hi-res graphic files.
The smart image processor automatically creates the display
thumbnails, except in the case of .tifs. Which the software claims
can process.

Hi,

Upper margin LN window height 8.00 LN
Finally in the text element, mention
/: INCLUDE 'ZHEX-MACRO-COMPLOGO' OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE 'E'.
Please note that if object name is not indicated as 'ZHEX...’ the logo may not be printed!
You will not be able to see the logo in a test print. The same will be printed in actual printout.
check any problem with TIFF file software with basis/network people, if it not prints.

• TIFF Image Upload

Hi,
I am unable to upload the .TIF image in R/3 in color form thru Program RSTXLDMC. I have set the color to BCOL still the same.I tried the same thru SE78, but have the same result. The image is in B/W form
How can I upload .TIF image in color ?
Your ideas appreciated.
Thanks,
Stock

Prerequisites
Supported graphic formats are *.bmp and *.tif files. As TIFF format you must use a Baseline 6.0 (for example, without compression). If you do not have the required format, you can use standard graphic programs to convert the graphics into this format.
Note that many printer drivers or printers support only the following resolutions: 75 dpi, 100 dpi, 150 dpi, 200 dpi, 300 dpi, 600 dpi.
Procedure
1. Choose transaction SE78.
The dialog window Graphic Administration appears.
2. Choose Graphic  Import.
3. Enter the file path on your PC (you can use F4 help).
4. Enter the graphic name for the system and select the graphic type (grid screen black/white or grid screen color).
5. If required, set one of the printer attributes Resident in printer memory or Automatically reserve height.
