  • Suddenly unable to upload mp3 files using iTunes Match

I've got a USB turntable and have enjoyed digitizing a lot of LPs and copying them into iTunes.  I digitized a 10-track album just yesterday, and can copy the resulting mp3 files into iTunes, where they play fine, but they won't upload to iCloud using iTunes Match. It gets to the point where it's supposed to upload tracks it cannot match and just sits there.  I use Audacity to digitize from the USB turntable, and it exports as MP3 file. This has worked over many albums but now seems to be stuck. Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

So my issue appears to be with uploading mp3 files that probably won't match anything in iCloud.
iTunes match matches Audio files by comparing the audio and not by comparing the tags for the album. My iTunes Library contains more than 500 songs that have been ripped and matched from vinyl records or audio tapes.
The songs will not match, if there is not the exact same recording in the store, but if the audo quality is good and the tempo of the player was exact, the song will be matched.

  • How to change music in uc320?how to upload mp3 file into uc320?

    Dear all,
how to change music in uc320?only one music in uc320?
how to upload mp3 file into uc320?
    Thanks
    John

I am evaluating the UC320 for a phone system replacement for our 100 locations.
Allowing us to add an MP3 file to replace the current one would be a HUGE cost savings.
This will help us cut cost when compared to the old system.
Currently we are spending $180 on an external mp3 player for an mp3 that’s 3MB in size.
If this system works out we are then going to recommend it to our 1800 franchisees.

  • Can't upload mp3 files to server - could with version 6

I need to upload mp3 files to a server. This was possible in FireFox version 6, but I unfortunately upgraded to version 10.0.2. Now it just says "connecting" and "sending request" without any results.

Hi there. First off thank you for your interest and your help.
I have done what you suggest probably 30 times as I have obsessed over this crazy problem for a couple straight weeks before I finaly gave up on CS5.5
I'm not sure what you mean by REMOTE server. The only server settings I am aware of are the ones in Dreamweaver. Here they are:
    5.0 Settings:
Server Name = the same values on each
    Connect Using = FTP
    FTP Address = same numeric value on 5.0 & 5.5 port 21
User name = same on both
    Password = same on both
Root directory = is blank (I have tried it using / with no luck as well)
    web URL = http://ftp.westbrookadvertising.com/www/htdocs/
Passive FTP is checked & Use FTP Peformance optimization is checked.

  • Cant Upload Mp3 files to Sony Mp3 player

    Hi,
My g/f has a Sony 'Walkman' Mp3 player and I can't upload Mp3s from my ibook to her player. Or, more precisely, the player appears on my desktop and in my finder and I can copy the Mp3 files to it. However, when we disconnect the player the files are not there to be played. Or, at least we can't find them.
My 'Transcend' Mp3 player made in Taiwan has no such problem. Is this a Sony problem? What to do does anyone know?
    Thanks.

Sorry, this one I can answer myself. Sony doesn't support Macs.

  • Uploading .mp3 files vs. uploading .band files for Podcast on iWeb

I teach high school and have my students creating audio files for podcast on my iWeb site. Most of the students give me their files in .band format, but some give them to me in .mp3 format.
    1) Can I upload the .mp3 file for podcasting to iWeb without turning it into a .band file (which I have been doing).
    2) When I drag the .mp3 file into the GarageBand program and then upload it to iWeb, the autopage looks different (no date, no place to write a little blurb, etc.) Is there any way to get them to look the same when using the Share>send to iWeb feature.
    3) I also receive frequent corrupted files (8-bit not supported with an abort button). I have never personally receive this message on files that I have created, but I can't figure out what my students are doing incorrectly--anyone know?
    Thanks for any possible help.

I am putting a link to what I am talking about--maybe that would help?

  • I want to allow only mp3 files in uploading, File dialog have to show only

In my project , user have to upload Mp3 files.
we want to show only mp3 files in file dialog .
in file dialog ,filetype field contain only mp3 .
    let me help inthis.
    Regards ,
    Vyam.

Thanking you for giving reply to my query.
I have seen in VB and someother language is it
possible. No you haven't.. You saw something else entirely.
    >
Actually am trying with this is in html file element
only , But am unable to control the file dialog
    window with selected Extension files.
Right. You can't do what you are trying to do it's impossible. You can stick an accept attribute on your form tag and It MIGHT work. But this is browser dependent and will not neccessarily be enforced.
Best to do what I told you before. Validate the uploaded file for type on the server.
It is showing All files. I tried with accept ,
    enctype also , but failed.
    Then you are hosed.
can we do with FileFilter class in java.Is it
    possible.
How do you see this working? If you want you could build an applet that you could sign that would upload the file for you I suppose. Seems a lot of unneccessary work.
    Thanking you,
    Vyam.Welcome.

  • How to insert a mp3 file to Facebook Post

I have an iPad Air and would like to know how to upload mp3 files to a Facebook status post.....Any ideas??

I don't think that is possible to do, however since you're using a 3rd party app, asks facebook or look at their support site.

  • Cannot upload some files to Dropbox through browser UI

I love and defend Firefox but I have to admit that it is giving me some grief lately. I run a Dropbox account which I access through the browser and its UI allows for drag and drop file uploads as well as more 'conventional' file uploading. In recent days I find certain file uploads are OK via Firefox (such as a 1mb PDF) but I cannot upload for instance a 30mb MP3 or a ZIP file - it tries but ultimately fails. A small 500kb MP3 is fine so it seems to be a file size rather than file type issue (there is a Dropbox limitation on file size but I am way below that). Also when using Firefox with the same Dropbox UI, I get odd errors like 'folder does not exist' even when I am not trying to access a folder or 'there was a problem completing the request' when trying to access a folder, even when it then allows access. I have raised all this with Dropbox forum and I am advised it is a browser problem (they would say that right?). However, I have control-tested using Safari and IE, etc, and I cannot replicate any of the problems. Uploads of large files (the exact same files) are fine in those browsers, no odd errors while testing. I was using Fx V 22x on Win7 x64 Pro but today got a push notification to update to Fx v23.0.1 which I have done, but still these problems persist. My plugins were few, long installed, and sound (Tabmix Plus, Firebug, FireFTP, etc) and not conflicted or out of date. Java was not enabled in the browser. However, to further control test, I have just done a Firefox RESET from the help menu and tried again without any plugins running. Same problem with larger file upload. It seems Firefox is having some issues doing things that other browsers are fine about...

I have suffered from this during the past three days.
Firefox 23.0, Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical - 1.0
on a 32-bit Ubuntu PC. So the system couldn't be more different.
I was trying to upload .MP3 files of 27MB. From about a dozen attempts with one file, no success whatever. On the other hand a different file worked first time. But a later attempt with a 14 MB .wav failed, so it's not related to the file.
On the other hand an upload with Chrome worked perfectly. So it does look like a browser problem.
Watching the system monitor during upload, it runs freely for about 9MB, then stops abruptly. At the same time, the message at the bottom left of the browser window, relating to dl-web.dropbox, disappears.
The text of the message differed between Firefox & Chrome, but I imagine that's just a textual, rather than a functional, difference.

  • Best way to stream MP3 files with ColdFusion

I was looking for a kind of a built in player look in that
all the user has to do is click and it will start playing within
the browser. Some of the files are even 48MB long so if I can
reduce that too that would be good. client goes on conferences and
plan to record more conferences and we would like to host them on
    the site.
    Any Help?

  • Uploading new files to iTunes U suddenly not working

One of the instructors I support has been uploading mp3 files to iTunes U all semester. Suddenly, he can't upload. He starts it, and it says it is finished, but the Upload progress bar never goes away and his new file is never added to the list of files. I can upload just fine to his shell from my machine. We are using the same version of iTunes (7.6.0.29). What can I do to help him?

Same prof had the same problem, so I went over to his office this morning. He stepped through the process, opened it in Audacity, saved it as an Audacity project, and exported it to MP3. During upload, it still reached the end showing the filesize uploaded and the total filesize and hung there without finishing. Like your experience, it has worked in the past. I showed him how to drag the WAV file into iTunes and convert it to MP3, edit the metadata in Info and upload that file. That worked like a charm. At this point, I'm recommending going through iTunes if there's no editing. But the question remains, why is this happening?

  • Is there way to sync mp3 files that won't upload to iTunes Match?

Let me briefly explain. I subscribe to iTunes Match. This works great except that there are a few large mp3 files (i.e., lectures) that won't upload to iTunes Match. I need to get those files on my iPhone or iPad. With iTunes Match on, all the uploaded music is synced but not those files. With iTunes Match off, I can easily add those files. How can I get these files to sync to the device and still use iTunes Match for all the rest of my music?

You can only remove them in iTunes on the computer.

  • How do I upload my mp3 files to the iTunes store?

I've been recording mp3 files and copying them to my iMac, and I would like to know how to sell them on iTunes.
