Uploading photos from pc to iphone
I have photos & videos transfered from motorolla to my pc, how i tranfer them to my iphone.
You have to have all the folders selected for the photos you want on the iPhone. Connect the iPhone, select it in the left column of iTunes, and click the Photos tab. Set "Sync Photos from" to a folder that includes all the folders you want on the phone. If you want all of the folders in this folder, click "All folders". If you only want some of the folders, click "Selected folders", then enable the desired folders. Then click "Sync" or "Apply" at the bottom-right.

Set photos to sync
You can sync iPhone with photos in iPhoto 4.0.3 or later on a Mac, or Photoshop Album 2.0 or later or Photoshop Elements 3.0 or later on a PC. Or you can sync with any folder on your computer that contains images.
Click the Photos tab and select "Sync photos from:"
From the pop-up menu, do one of the following:
If your using a Mac, choose iPhoto or your Pictures folder.
If you're using a PC, choose Photoshop Album, Photoshop Elements, or your My Pictures folder.
Choose Folder, then choose any folder on your computer that has images inside.
Choose "All photos," or choose "Selected folders" or "Selected albums" and choose the folders or albums you want to sync.

I recently upgraded to iphoto 11 v. 9.2 and now iphoto crashes every time I try to upload photos. I have tried to upload from my camera via usb, from my iphone, and from the memory card directly and it crashes every time. What can I do to fix this problem?
It was the folder that I trashed.

I'm looking to see if anyone know how I can upload photos that I have on my PC to my iPhone.
Has anyone done this? Is this even possible?Farmdwg,
Try following instructions below.
Set photos to sync
You can sync iPhone with photos in iPhoto 4.0.3 or later on a Mac, or Photoshop Album 2.0 or later or Photoshop Elements 3.0 or later on a PC. Or you can sync with any folder on your computer that contains images.
Click the Photos tab and select "Sync photos from:"
From the pop-up menu, do one of the following:
If your using a Mac, choose iPhoto or your Pictures folder.
If you're using a PC, choose Photoshop Album, Photoshop Elements, or your My Pictures folder.
Choose Folder, then choose any folder on your computer that has images inside.
Choose "All photos," or choose "Selected folders" or "Selected albums" and choose the folders or albums you want to sync.

I need help to upload photos from PC to iPhone
I've tried to upload some photos from my computer to my iphone 4S using itunes and it says it's syncing and tranferring the photos but they don't appear with the other photos on my phone - any ideas?
Don't worry people - I did a software upgrade and re-synced and they are all there in my Photo :-)

When i try to upload photos from my iphone iphoto freezes after a few have been uploaded, force quit shows that it is still running. I have left it running for days with no change. In addition Places is continually running, would this have an effect?
Help much appreciated.The next step is to repair your main library: apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I am trying to upload photos from my iPhone to my macbook but each time I plug my iPhone into the macbook, a message comes up which says my device is locked with a passcode and I cannot load the photos. When I plug my phone in, it is on the home screen and unlocked so I don't understand what I am doing wrong. This has never occurred before. Please help.

Can't upload photos from iPhone or camera disk after installing iPHoto 9
I installed iPhoto 9 from iLife 11 last week Since the installation (and subsequent installation of 9.0.1), I have not been able to upload photos from my iPhone 4 nor my camera SD card to my iPhoto library. When I plug in my iPhone or camera disk, I just get a spinning beachball plus the spinning spoke wheel in iPhoto and when I go to Force Quit, it always says NOT RESPONDING. Any ideas? I didn't lose any photos on the install just can't add any photos. I'm going to see a Mac Genius tomorrow.
No, remember this was a test. It tells us that iPhoto is workign correctly, but that your Library isn't.
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Include the option to rebuild from automatic back up.
