Uploading program to new computer?

My daughter and I can not find the CD to upload to my new computer
How to I do this? I have the Serial Numbers for the Adobe Illustrator 10 and Photoshop 7.0 1990-2002
Can the link be emailed to me?
Thank You

Illustrator 10 and Photoshop 7 are not going to be compatible with a new computer. You will need to purchase new versions.

I cannot get my iTunes library/music from my old computer to my new one. The old computer is so messed up that I cannot even open a browser.I tried to copy to an external hard drive and the music was there until I went to upload to the new computer. I disconnected my old computer so I will have to reconnect it I am sure. thank you for any help. Last time I transferred I used a product I purchased. That was a long time ago.

First of all make sure that you've definitely backed up the movies to your external hard disc.
In iMovie click on any event you don't want, go to the file menu and select 'move event to trash'. Then do the same for any unwanted projects - 'move project to trash'. Quit out of iMovie and empty the trash.
    Hope that helps!

  • HT5085 I bought a new computer.  I backed up my old computer and put my itunes library on an external hard drive, that I then uploaded to the new computer.  However, how do I access my Itunes account and use the $25.00 or so credit that Ihave and purchase

I bought a new computer,  I backed up my itunes library on an external hard drive from the old computer. I then uploaded the external hardrive to my new comupeter Windows 8 -  How do I access my apple store account to purchase additional music and use the $25 or so dollars I have in credit. ?
    Thanks - Patti

You should be able to log into your account via the Store > Sign In menu option - if the drop-down menus aren't showing the control-B should them to show.
Your balance should be accessible wherever you are signed into the account. My account's balance shows at the top left of the store's page on my computer's iTunes, and by logging in to view my account via the Store > View Account menu option (that option will only show after you've signed in).

  • How do i transfer adobe programs to new computer?

I do not have the original disks, but I do have my product keys saved in a text file so that's not a problem.  I think they also appear somewhere in the programs themselves, right?  Anyway, I'm finally upgrading to a new computer and Windows 7 and leaving my beloved XP behind (I'm afraid Microsoft will stop releasing security updates for XP and I don't want to be left a situation).  Unfortunately, I have both Adobe CS (the first one) as well as Macromedia Studio 8 on this computer.  How do I get them to my new computer without upgrading to newer versions of the programs?  I cannot afford the new versions and I'm quite happy for now with what I've got.
Again, disks are long gone.  Again, I simply cannot afford to shell out the money for the software upgrades.  Not right now.  The new computer alone is gobbling up my funds.

I think you'd have to find the software to install from somewhere.  They are older products so you might try Softpedia or Download.com or Craigslist or eBay.
The ideal situation is if you could find free trial versions, which you could then activate with your existing product keys.
You'd then have to deactivate/uninstall from your current computer and reinstall to your new one.  There may be a way to somehow transfer over the existing program files from XP to Windows 7, but it seems a longshot.  I'd say google that one some more to be sure.

  • Transferring Adobe programs to new computer

My seven-year-old 24-in. iMac just died.  I've replaced it with a 27-in. iMac.  On my old computer I had CS3, CS6 and Lightroom.  I'm unable, however, to download any of those programs into my new computer (although with Lightroom I'm able to use it, temporarily, by clicking on the thirty-day trial).  I have the serial numbers for CS3 and Lightroom, but with CS6 I see the 16-digit Product Code but not the 24-digit serial number.  Help!!

For LR, you’d need to download and install perpetual-license version not the cloud version.  You can download this from the Adobe Updates page, and be sure to uninstall the cloud version, first:
    http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/
    CS3 downloads are available, here:
    http://www.adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html
For a CS6 serial number, if you registered it with Adobe, then you can find it under Manage Account after you log into adobe.com, and if not you may be able to get Adobe to help you with the Chat option:

  • Labview short project- port existing program to new computer

A Labview developer/programmer is needed to port an existing labview program to a new computer. We are in Pasadena California. This one time project is fairly small and price/terms are negotiable. Kent Harris  626-226-6796

FYI The task you request  is not as simple as it sounds. Assuming you are upgrading from OLD PC PCI to PXI on a new PC with Windows 7: 1.     The existing executable will not be useable if your are upgrading from PCI to PXI due to HW /Software driver differences, etc…..2.     The Source code will require an upgrade, DAQ/DIO rewrite, along with a newer version of NI-MAX .3.     The source code would then be recompiled to an executable that would work with new PXI HW and new PC operating system.  Depending on the complexity of the system and allowing HW/SOFTWARE development, Debug issues and proof testing this project could take from 8 hours to 24 to 48 hours to complete assuming you have the correct PXI HW and PXI cable interfaces, and wiring  or not !!!

  • Clone/tranport files, info, programs to new computer?

I have just had 2 G4 ibooks fail due to the dreaded logic board failure. I just bought a PowerBook G4 15-inch FW800 -serial V73*KGNRZ. <Edited by Host> What i want to do is swap the hard drive from the ibook to the Powerbook G4 so that all my settings and programs would be intact without days of hassle to restore the work enviroment I am familiar with. Is this possible?
If not what is the easiest way to transfer all the programs and setting to the new computer?
I do not have the system restore discs for either of the computers.
I also have a firewire drive with the ibook drive in it and a usb drive with a sparseimage back-up. Can I do anything with these to transport/clone/or restore my work environment including programs?
For example I was thinking of copying the sparse image to the new computer drive and selecting the image to boot from -can this be done? Or swap drives -is that safe?
I just want my old set-up restored on the Powerbook that I was used to on the ibook. -Help!
The Powerbook is running OS 10.3 and the old ibook drive was running OS10.3.9.
    -RS

It would be possible to move the hard drive from the dead iBook into the Powerbook and see whether it boots and operates properly, but the chances are good that it won't. Even if it boots, the iBook's OS installation was tailored to the iBook's hardware, and includes the drivers only for that machine's hardware components. The right drivers for the Powerbook's different hardware components won't be included, so some aspects of the Powerbook's operation may be nonfunctional, unreliable, or partly crippled.
OS X Panther (10.3.x) does not include Migration Assistant, so there is no simple, convenient way to transfer all your data, applications and settings from one computer to another running that OS without disturbing the already-installed operating system. Because you have no OS installer discs, you won't be able to reinstall a proper OS on the Powerbook if you find that the iBook's OS installation won't boot it or is too flaky or crippled to use on it. If that proves true, you'll need to buy a suitable OS installer. Even if you don't need one right away, sooner or later you will need it. Your 1.25GHz 15" PBG4 requires a minimum of OS X 10.3 to be assured of booting (early in the production run, units were shipped with 10.2.7, but if yours is a later one, it won't boot to that OS version). It can run any version up to 10.5.8. Buy only a retail installer disc, NOT a disc that was shipped with and designed to support only a particular Mac model, even if it's a Powerbook G4 model.

  • Upload Everything to New Computer?

How do I upload everything on my iPhone to iTunes on my new computer? I don't see an upload function anywhere...

You need to move everything from the old computer, or your backup copy of the old computer, to the new one.
The iphone is not a backup device. The music and pic sync is one way. The exception being itunes purchases.
You would have to enter one unique contact and calendar entry on the new computer to get the option to merge that data.
Always much easier and complete to move everything from the old computer, or backup of the old computer.

  • Uploading Muse to new computer?

Have to purchase a new computer. Need to know the procedure for cancelling the old computer as primary and setting up new. I also have a laptop...can I upload Muse as my secondary on the laptop?
Thanks for the help....this is third attempt to post a question. Why is that so difficult!
    carly

    Hello,
If you have a Adobe Muse subscription, then you can install it  on two machines.
There is no concept of primary and secondary machines. It just needs to be activated on two machines. In case you want to switch it from one computer to another, you need to launch Adobe Muse then click on Help>Deactivate Adobe Muse (please see the screenshot) :
It will deactivate one copy of Muse and you can install it  on another machine.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to Switch Photoshop Program to New Computer

I recieved a version of photoshop along with the purchase of a drawing tablet last year, a week ago the laptop that had the program began having errors so i bought a new laptop. now i just need to switch my program from the old computer to this one. is there any way to do that? i dont recall ever having a disk for the program, and i would really hate to lose the program and have to rebuy it after only having it one year.
Any help will be greatly apprciated

open ps on your old laptop and click help>deactivate.
then download a trial of your photoshop and install it on your new computer.  you can directly download trials via links here:
if you follow all 7 steps you can dl a trial via links here:  http://prodesigntools.com/tag/ddl
    and activate with your serial.
if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps.  the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

i am now receiving a message asking me to register the product?
There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

  • New Computer, want to upload songs onto new computer

I just bought a new I-MAC and want to get all of my music onto the new computer, but when I hookup my i-pod, it says I can only sync with one computer and I have already done this on another computer(it is a PC that has recently died). I have heard about "rippers" but there has to be an easier way to do this. I am sure I'm not the first one to encounter this, and I have looked for a way to fix this but haven't been able to find one...I am still learning the Mac operating system.
    Thanks for the help

Apple doesn't support the transferring of music from your iPod to your iTunes. Only iTunes to iPod. So to do this you will need to download a third party program that will help copy your music from your iPod back to your computer, or there are a couple manual methods you can check out.
    THIRD PARTY PROGRAMS
    Senuti - Mac Only

Personally I was in the exact position you are, I used Senuti to take the music off my Pc formated iPod and put it on my new Mac. It was easy, worked perfect, took me about an hour to get it off and reload it all back to my iPod. Saved me a lot of time and headaches, Good Luck
