  • Sales text and  Purchase Order Text

    Hi,
    in what tables are stored Sales text and Purchase Order Text of the material master ?
    Best Regards

    Hi
    All long text is stored in STXH and STXL.
    Object is MATERIAL.
    Text-Id for basic data text is GRUN
    Text-Id for purchase order text is BEST
    For sales order text it is text object MVKE with text-id 0001
    Go to SE37 function builder. Enter READ_TEXT and do a single test ( F8 )
    Enter your parameters and execute. Example below.
    NAME is a comibation of materialnumber (00000000008000000)WITH leading zeros
    if numeric and sales org (1000) plus distribution channel (10)
    Import parameters - Value
    CLIENT - 010
    ID - 0001
    LANGUAGE - E
    NAME - 000000000008000000100010
    OBJECT - MVKE
    ARCHIVE_HANDLE - 0
    LOCAL_CAT
    Just for future reference with regards to getting text id's etc.
    eg: PO texts.
    --> Go into the material master PO text
    --> Double click into the required text.
    --> Click the "GO TO" menu option.
    --> click Header.
    and all the info you need is there.
    Thanks..

    Declare internal tables as follows: - An example
    TYPES: BEGIN OF TY_PO_LINES,
         INCLUDE STRUCTURE TLINE.
         END OF TY_PO_LINES,
         TY_PO_LINES_T TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF TY_PO_LINES.
    TYPES: BEGIN OF TY_PO_TEXT,
           TDOBJECT TYPE TDOBJECT
           TDNAME TYPE TDOBNAME,
           TDID TYPE TDID,
           SPRAS TYPE SPRAS,
         TDLINES TYPE TY_PO_LINES OCCURS 0,
         END OF TY_PO_TEXT,
         PO_TEXT_T TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF TY_PO_TEXT.
    DATA: PO_TEXT TYPE TY_PO_TEXT_T
    PO text:
    Looping at your internal table which consists of PO number,
    SELECT TDID TDSPRAS FROM STXH INTO A INTERNAL TABLE say PO_TEXT
    TDOBJECT = EKKO "PO Header Text
    TDNAME = PO NUMBER
    SELECT TDID TDSPRAS FROM STXH INTO A INTERNAL TABLE say PO_TEXT
    TDOBJECT = EKPO "PO line item text
    TDNAME = PO NUMBER
    ENDLOOP
    Looping at PO_TEXT
    CALL FUNCTION 'READ_TEXT'
      EXPORTING
         ID = PO_TEXT-TDID
         LANGUAGE = PO_TEXT-TDSPRAS
         NAME = PO_TEXT-TDNAME
         OBJECT = PO_TEXT-TDOBJECT
      TABLES
         LINES = PO_TEXT-TDLINES
    ENDLOOP
    Follow the same above logic for material with suitable TDID you need to extract

  • Plant transfers and purchasing orders tracing for movement type 301-310

    Hi ,
    When we do material transfer from plant to plant( MVT 301-310) it creates the material documents in MSEG. What's the table or the best way to find the purchase order details for the material documents created in MSEG or the materials  used during transfers?
    I appreciate your response
    Thanks
    Reddy

    Hi ,
    Go to table EKKO , put purchase Doc category ( must be different for Plant Transfers ) and also try out Supplying Vendor and Customer Fields..
    VAT Registration no can also be part of your selection..
    Please have a look at EKKO fields available and make your appropriate selections..

  • Function module to upload gif images to Purchase order-"Services for Obj...

    Hello all,
    On ME23N we have option of manually attaching any document to the Purchase order through the option "Services for Object".
    Now I have to upload the gif files automaticcal through Backgroud program.
    How can we attach the file to the PO automatically?
    Need ur inputs on this.
    Thanks,
    Subba

    How to add an attachment to a Purchase Order in SAP?
    You can attach manually any document to PO without using Document Management System ( DMS ) in SAP 4.6C.
    But you cannot attach document while you create PO in T/Code ME21N
    Save you PO ( ME21N ) and again open with change ( ME22N ) then you can attach document through Service for Object button. Service for Object button available down side of Command screen ( in your PO screen ME22N )
    Click your Service Object button -> Create -> Create attachment
    then select your window directory ( which file you need to attach) select your file Now your system shows message  Service "Create attachment" is started.
    Save again your PO. You can see (open) your attachment in same field ( Service for Object ) select and Create and check attachment list. You can attach as many document in your PO.
    Note: This is only information for internal or you can print separately this document for sending to vendor ( fax ) System will not print automatically along PO print out.

  • Can we recieve goods for purchase order with out material master data in PO

    I have service PR for doing the services. I will  give the material which is not accounted ( no material in the PO)and raise PO with reference to production order. but once the service is done,that product will become a  material ( master data available) I have to receive the  final product.Can we do the GR for this product. If so ,could you please explain the scenario

    Hi Sankarkumar
    When you are issuing the material for servicing your existing inventory for the material  will be affected how you are plannignto handle that? You are receiving a different material once the serviceing is done then again yoour inventory will be affected for the new material.  If you do not intend to issue material in SAP then why are you worried when you are bringing the new material into SAP after servicing is over?  It is a subcontract scenario in a normal situation. But since you do not want then you can do a Service PO from the reqn and later use receipt without PO for bringing material in. Just speak to your finance guys how to set right the debit/credit amount resulted due to this transaction.

  • Purchase order texts.

    Hi,
    what are the purpose of Basic data text (view "Basic data 1"), Purchase order text (view "Purchase order text" ), from the menu Edit, Long Text, Create Text?
    Best regards

    Basic data text:
    You can use this text as you like, for example, to store additional, general information on the material
    If a text  has not yet been maintained, the system creates a blank text in the logon language. If you want to create a text in another language, choose Create text and specify the language in the dialog box that appears. Then enter your text as required. For more word-processing functions, choose Editor to enter your text in SAPscript. For information on how to use SAPscript, see the SAP library documentation .
    Purchase order text:
    A purchase order text is a text describing the material in more detail. This text is subsequently copied to purchasing documents (such as purchase requisitions or purchase orders) automatically, where you can change it if necessary. It is valid for all organizational levels, not for a specific plant. You can enter a purchase order text in the material master record in as many languages as you like, though only one text is allowed per language

  • BAPI for Material master update

    Hello,
    I need to upload and change data to the classification screen of Material master (MM01/02). I am thinking of using BAPI_CHARACT_CREATE and BAPI_CHARACT_CHANGE. Can we use BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to upload and change characteristic data for material master(MM01/02)?
    Can anybody provide me some sample code for mass upload and mass change of characteristic data to material master?
    Thanks in advance
    Rajesh.

    Hi Rajesh,
    You can use standard SAP program <b>RCCLBI03</b> to do mass upload.
    Please check the program documentation for more information.
    Also you can take a look this BAPI/FM.
    <b>BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE
    BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE
    CLVF_INSERT_AUSP
    CLVF_UPDATE_AUSP
    CLVF_VB_INSERT_CLASSIFICATION</b>
    Hope this will help.

    Hi Shikha,
    I'm not sure it works or not. But you can try SCU3 t.code and table DBTABLOG. May it can help you out.
    I also faced this type of issue in Plant data and it get resolved.

  • Upload purchase order text through LSMW

    Please tell me procedure for uploading sales order & purchase order text in material master through lsmw

    Hi
    Long Texts are stored in STXH table with 4 parameters TEXTNAME,OBJECT,ID and LANGUAGE
    You can't find the complete text in any table
    You will find these 4 parameters in the table STXH.
    Texts are created using the fun module CREATE_TEXT and SAVE_TEXT and these texts are fetched using READ_TEXT fun module
    For uploading these long texts using LSMW see
    for Long texts Upload
    Please take a look at this..

    Dear Deepak,
    there is standard direct upload i believe
    go to lsmw
    Execute 1st option
    then inLSMW:Object Attribute screen
    in standard batch/ direct input
    firsr radio button
    select object 005
    and method 003
    Program name RSTXLITF.
    Then go by normal process i.e source field , field mapping...
    In this way u can also upload Text in the Material master.
