Uploading xml sitemaps to business catalyst

I have uploaded a muse site onto the Business Catalyst Platform. I wanted to upload a sitemap onto the the folder using the admin. I can see how to create pages but how can I upload files?

When you the a site love BC will generate a sitemap.xml automatically which should happen even if you use Muse.
Type in sitemap.xml after your address to see it.

Lightroom not uploading web gallery to Business Catalyst

I generated a photo gallery in Lightroom to use on my Business Catalyst hosted site, but when I go to upload the gallery I get an "unknown error has occurred". After searching this on Google, it appears that this is a rather common problem that has been going on for some time. Any idea why it happens? And more importantly, is there a way to fix it?

Blank page or one from the “home template” files put fine.
But when I use the “default template” nothing happens.
says it is putting and that transfer is complete… but nothing is there… see this page:

HTML5 Video Upload from Muse To Business Catalyst.

Hi all excuse my complete and utter ignorance of all things techniacal, I am new and I am in the process of learning. As the title suggests I am trying to upload a video that I want to include in the design of my site to Business Cataylst via the publish feature in Adobe Muse. I am running into difficulty however with this warning message ".mp4 is bigger than 100MB and is too big to be uploaded." Is there any way around this besides making my video smaller? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you're hosting on Adobe Business Catalyst, In-Browser Editing has been available for roughly a year. To use it login to your site by going to your site URL plus "/admin" then click "Edit" in the top menu of the Admin Dashboard.
The new feature is that In-Browser Editing is now also enabled for those who choose to host with hosting providers other an Adobe.
To host on Adobe Business Catalyst you using Publish.
To host on other hosting providers you use File > Upload to FTP Host.

Question About Uploading XML Sitemap

Hi Folks!
I uploaded an XML Sitemap well over a year ago. I've created alot of new content since then so I created a new Sitemap.
I see my old sitemap.xml in my site, along with a sitemap.xml-bkp
Before I upload the new one, should I delete those other two?

An XML SiteMap is mainly for Search Engine robots to crawl your site. It's not for humans.
After uploading your map to the root folder of your web site, it's good to tell Google where to find it with your Google Webmaster Tools.

Can't upload Index.html in Business Catalyst

I am building a new site. It's still under development. When I upload it to Business Catalyst i get the following message:
Error uploading file index.html. Click Resume to try again. If this problem persists, try again later.
I tried it several times but I am still getting the same message. How can I solve this??
One part of the site isn't rendering correctly.
Please inform me what to do.

I've uploaded my site to business catalyst and getting complaints of the site not opening

I have uploaded my portfolio site garymartindesign01.businesscatalyst.com and am getting complaints that my site isn't opening.
I have experienced slow load times, especially in Chrome, whereas Firefox loads somewhat quicker, but still very slow.
My question is is it my content, Muse, or business catalyst that is causing the non/slow-load times?

I strongly encourage using YouTube, Vimeo on another third party service. While it's possible to encode your own video files and host them, you'll won't come close to the cross browser consistency, cross browser performance, cross device performance, variable sizing, optimal download/play performance, etc. of YouTube, Vimeo or a similar service with a self-hosted solution.

Dreamweaver not uploading all files to business catalyst site

some files are uploading, most are not or are uploading blank pages. tried to update from build 12.0 to 12.0.3 but installation keeps throwing an error code. kind of desperate and no phone lines to adobe. so frustrated with products that should work together and don't and no support.

Business catalyst only

in my site on one of the pages i use used the content tab to sync the text to my mobile site. when i upload site via ftp (which is my normal method of uploading from muse) i notice that that page that i used the content tab on is not available. when i took the content tab out of the page and again uploaded the page was available.
also i have a page with an accordion widget on, i upload this and the page is not available.
I have experimented with uploading to business catalyst and found that the page with the content tabs on is now viewable and the page with the accordion widget is viewable also.
at the moment as the page is still under development i can continue to upload to my created business catalyst site but when my page is complete i want to push it to my paid site but i cant see an option other than uploading it straight to your catalyst site.
as i said before the upload to ftp would be my normal route to upload to an external site however this seems to not be displaying the pages right this way.
what can i do?

i have cleared my cache & still nothing
if you go to my site home and click on the about page it will show with a not found page.
if you go to my business catalyst site home and click on the about page it loads without problems.
nothing was changed in muse in between uploading the 2 sites

Suddenly can't publish to Business Catalyst

I'm suddenly unable to upload my site to Business Catalyst. When I try to do so, I get a dialog box named Publish, that says "Signing into Business Catalyst," with a spinning ball. Intermittently, I also get an error dialog box labeled "Adobe Business Catalyst," that says "Unknown Adobe Business Catalyst error has occurred. Status: 0, 0." (See screenshot below.)
Is this something that needs to be fixed on your end, or is there something that I can do to remedy the problem on my end?

HELP! I can't get GoDaddy to acknowledge my hosting is through Business Catalyst.

I uploaded my website through Business catalyst. I had already purchased my domain through GoDaddy. I followed the steps of getting it to link to my domain through Business Catalyst. Well when you type in my Domain now it only goes to GoDaddy's page saying my domain is parked free. They won't acknowledge the hosting through BC without a code. I can not manage my account through BC. Every time I click 'Manage' it goes to a blank screen. I have been paying for hosting and still have no site! How do I get my code for GoDaddy?

Business Catalyst Help | Add a sitemap

There is no sitemap.xml link any more only under the old system. BC generates this automatically.
In terms of the sitemap module that renders a list of items in a ul li format on a page this is under the site manager.
As with anything you see on the BC it also all depends on your plan.

How do I upload a finished website to Business Catalyst using Dreamweaver?

I've finished building a website that I want to publish on Business Catalyst for my client. I'm using Dreamweaver CC. There is an option for creating a new BC website, but I can't find a way to upload a finished site like I was able to in the older versions of Dreamweaver. Am I missing something?

A workaround that's available that involves a few steps.
1. Print a network configuration page to get the printers host name.
a. press the wrench in top right hand corner
b. Select the wireless menu
c. Scroll and select network configuration.
d. Print network configuration page.
2. Select start menu
a. Go to my computer.
b. At the top of the page select map network drive.
c. In the drive box select a available drive letter.
d. In the Path or Folder text box, type the following:
\\ insert host name here\Memory_Card
example on how it should look. \\HP7A5319\memory_card
Select finish after entering information.

After making a website with muse and launching it with Business Catalyst. My website gives a notice: To change this page, upload your website into the public_html directory. How can i upload my website into the public_html directory?

I'm using a Mac and made a website with Muse. After making the website i published the site and launched this afterwards with Business Catalyst.
When i enter my website, i got the notification: To change this page, upload your website into the public_html directory.
Does anyone know how i can fix this? I'm a complete noob in this subject.

How to upload my local DW CC files into my free Business Catalyst site for testing?

I'm getting stuck creating a new BC site and downloading the files from BC to create a new site, which I don't want to do. I need to take the files from by computer and upload them.
