Upon opening PS or Illustator CC it asks me to sign it to the 'trial' even though I have an active CC membership - how do I rectify this?

    A possible cause is the presence of a PDF plugin from an older Adobe Reader plugin in the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder.

  • I downloaded firefox,i cant get it to open, yet when i tried to delete it, windows explorer says firefox is running, even though i have no internet on

    i was at a hotel using wireless, but suddenly my computer shut down, saying something about a blue screen, when i turned it back on, it wouldnt fully load the games i play on facebook, so i tried a lot of things, then i downloaded mozzilla, nothing happens when i click on it so i tried to delete it but my computer says its running and i have to close it first, but i cant cos i cant get it to open!!!!!!!

    which infers the problem exists and seems to confirm the only way is to restart the machine.
    Not being computer literate I cannot tell whether or not you can get around the 'lock/unlock' problem! What I need is an easy 'fix' but there does not appear to be one!!

    I am not sure why your Firefox stopped working all of a sudden. I would recommend uninstalling and then re-installing Firefox.
    1) Get new download: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
    2) Uninstall your current Firefox version.
    3) Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
    Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    4) It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
    Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

    Have you purchased the CS6 with a perpetual license? Or do you have a Creative Cloud subscription?
    If you had the former, you'd have a serial number. If the latter, you'd use your Adobe ID to login to your subscription.

    If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
    The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
    The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
    Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
    Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
    Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

Even though I have my 15" MacBook Pro set to open to empty screen when I open Safari, it constantly opens multiple previous pages.     Apple doesn't call its portable machines 'notebooks' instead of 'laptops' for nothing - using a MacBook Pro in your lap can cause some burns on your skin, poor ventilation, etc. So use it on a hard flat surface - not your lap, pillows, bedclothes, etc.
    As for burning a hole in your screen, you'll have to revisit the Apple Store and see how much they would charge for a new screen. It's likely to be a bit expensive.
    And if you've Safari set to re-open tabs when you restart, you can disable this feature -> Safari-Preferences-General.
