Upon upgrading to Firefox7 (Mac) my Wacom stylus button (latest driver) which is programmed to issue a Command modifier to open links in a new tab, though this has worked for years and still works in Safari, etc. Any ideas?
This issue just began with the FF7.01 but has always worked in previous versions. Yesterday I did install the FF7.0 and I don't recall experiencing the issue. Please note that it works correctly holding the actual command key, but no longer with the Wacom pen button held.
It was nice to always be able to use one hand to click and also make the decision about opening in a new tab or not.
Guys, I should wrap this up and let you all know so this page may help those experiencing the Firebug Context Menu Glitch. It's messed up, that was one of my favourite programs :(. Now looking for a version that doesn't do that.

My podcast page in 'My library' does not show. I have "What's New" message but can't access/play podcasts from the page so unable to play on laptop.I still get automatic downloads of new podcasts and transfer to my ipod. It is just that I cannot play any of them on the laptop as "Lists" or "My podcasts" cannot be viewed, only the "What's up" message, so just cant access any newor old on my laptop screen. Several basic functions seem to be have vanished from Firefox. I can no longer open links in new tabs with a right click, and the refresh browser button (and back/forward navigation buttons, etc) do not appear in with consistency anymore. How do I get these basic navigational tools back? (most recent updates are installed)

I did a little bit of experimenting. I have an iPad original versions myself. I took it out of the box knowing that I haven used it in months and I expected the battery to be dead and sure enough the battery was as dead as I imagined it would be. For the first 30 minutes I experienced exactly what you are experiencing, but then the iPad suddenly powered up on its own (like it does when plugged into the charger) and I am using it now to type this response to you.
My point is that I am starting tothink that your battery has suddenly died on you for some reason or you have a hardware problem now. I would still try leaving the iPad charge for a while longer - maybe even overnight - and then try again in the morning. Unplug the iPad and try resetting with the home and sleep buttons. Try plugging the iPad in again. Unplug it, try restarting again. Let it charge for a while again.
After trying something like that, if it still will not start up, then I think it's time for a trip to an Apple Store and see what the Apple Techs think. -
I used to be able to print from my iPad, but it has stopped, however I can still print from my iPod, any ideas?
Re-booting Pad, router and printer seems to have solved the problem!

Ever since I updated to Firefox 4.0, I can no longer open links in a new tab by holding ctrl and clicking the link. The only way I can open a link in a new tab is if I right click a link and select "open in a new tab" in the dropdown menu, but ctrl + click is so much easier and faster. Any clue how to fix this?
Some other users have fingered the Ask toolbar as the cause of this problem. You can try disabling or removing it here:
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions

I should note, I am using the latest version as of today, I am using the portable version, and I have a TON of addons, a list of which I can post if I have to. Any Ideas what could be causing this? I use the "Open link in a New Tab" option every single day. I don't want to have to hit some special button to do so like my current temporary workaround with tab mix plus, I miss the old method, the option is still there in the context menu, but it won't do a single thing ever :(. Also not working is "Open Link in This Tab" and "Open Link in Duplicated Tab" (Not that I ever use those ones so who give a F). "Open Links in New Tabs" Still works though, but not for single links, so its not an ideal workaround. I can't afford to simply reset the browser, my settings, my addons, everything would be gone. I could back it up with FEBE but then I would be right back where I started. :(

I used to be able to open BBc Radio 2 via the 'Listen' link with a left click of the mouse button, this nolonger works, I now have to right click the link and 'open link in a new tab'
I must have disabled something?

the user jay_ff shows how to do it using the Menu Editor Add-on
1. Install the Menu Editor add-on from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/menu-editor/ .
2. After the installation, go to Firefox> add-ons (or simply use Ctrl+Shift+A)
3. Go to the Menu Editor "Options"
4. In the "Main context menu," simply grab the "Open link in New Tab" and place it below the "Open Link in New Window"
5. and Voila! You may also change other menu options if you want to!
I tried jay_ff method first and found that indeed changing the Main Context Menu did cause the hotlink context menu to change as well. -
I click a link but it doesn’t open. Instead I get a popup saying “Open the link in a new window,” “Open link in a new tab,” etc. How can I kill this popup or whatever it is forever?
That happens if the server sends the file as text/plain.
You can see this if you open "Tools > Page Info > General": Content-Type: text/plain

I have an iPhone 4 and one account for the family. I receive my children's text messagesto and from their friends on my work phone that start on their iPod Touch's. I don't want them to have their own accounts at their age b/c I want all purchases to roll up under my account without seeing their texts.
We run the family account of a 6 month old iMac (not sure MAC OS version).
Any ideas would be much appreciated.Go to settings, store, click on apple ID, sign out and sign back in with your ID. You can put her music into your account. That is illegal.

Installed Mavericks and latest updates for iWorks. Some fonts will not work on Pages or Keynote. Any ideas?

Old 32-bits Windows programs usually run fine with WINE, of which I warmly recommend the "PlayonMac" version (free).

Webcam stopped working for one user, still works for another user
I'm using 2 userprofiles on my laptop.
For 1 user, webcam software works as expected.
For 2nd user webcam stopped working.
For this user:
- Autostart Webcamsoftware doesn't work (traybar).
- Manual start doesn't work either.
- I can see that for each attemt, conhost.exe is started but no traybar.
- In systray i see the icon appearing but after some secs, it disappears.
- In syslogs, following error is shown:

Both userprofiles have different settings/desktops/etc.
Meanwhile i did the following:
- boot and logon with primary profile (working webcamsoft)
- uninstalled the program
- used CCClean to cleanup registry (and other stuff)
- reboot and logon with secondary userprofile

- reboot and logon again with primary userprofile
- install the webcam software
- reboot and logon with primary userprofile
- test webcamsoft, it works
- reboot and logon with secondary userprofile
- webcam still doesn't work

Option in safari to open links with a new tab has stopped working.
This has happened in the last week.
