Uprading a 'Not-For-Resale' FB 4.5 license to FB 4.5 for PHP, possible?

Sorry for cross post, got no replies in the "Installing and activating" forum, so posting here.
I have a ‘Not-For-Resale’ FB 4.5 license. Can I upgrade this to FB 4.5 for PHP? If I purchase a regular upgrade from FB 4.5 to FB 4.5 for PHP from Adobe store will this work?

Not-For-Resale licenses are for non-commercial use and cannot be used for upgrade/upsell.

I've successfully configured Dreamweaver CS6 (trial) Mac to launch Sublime Text 2 when I double-click .css, js or .txt files in the Files panel. However, Dreamweaver refuses to open my .php or .html files in Sublime Text 2 - it always opens them within Dreamweaver.
Any thoughts how to overcome this? It's very frustrating.

I currently am on a Mac using Interarchy and BBEdit. In my new job they use Dreamweaver on PCs. I've tried Dreamweaver's code editor and it is clunky and dated. I won't be able to use BBEdit on the PC and by all accounts Sublime Text 2 looks like a good alternative and it is also available for Mac so I can have a consistent editing environment when working from home.
I have already tried what you recommended but it did not work. I will set back to the original settings and try again. I might try uninstalling/reinstalling.

Has anyone upgraded a LP 7 Not For Resale to LP 8 ?

I am thinking of buying the upgrade version of Logic Studio (LP8) and I have a LP 7.2.3 "Not For Resale" version plus a LE 7.1.1 full commercial version,so I was wondering if the LP 7 NFR version is upgradeable or do I need to use the LE 7 version to upgrade to Logic Studio ?

Having previously been a beta tester for Emagic, my copy of Logic 7 always identified itself as an NFR version. I assume this was due to the serial number imbedded in the dongle. However, I was able to upgrade to Logic Studio without any problems, and now there's no mention of NFR within Logic.

Logic Pro 9 Says Not For ReSale On Title Window

Everytime i open logic pro 9 it always say not for resale on title windows I put the right serial key in. I purchased it from the Apple Store. Please help its annoying.

Yes, but you had a pirated version before the legit (proper) one you purchased correct?
The App store version does not require or ask for a serial number unless you've had a another version of the program installed.
The App store version is reading the preferences/install files of the previous version, even though you may have deleted the previous Logic application the preference/install files are still there.
Delete the User Preferences
You can resolve many issues by restoring Logic Pro back to its original settings. This will not impact your song files. To reset your Logic Pro user preference settings to their original state, do the following:
In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu.
Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
Press the Go button.

New AP2 with serial no. but "not for resale"??

I just received a copy of AP2 from a seller on Amazon and it does include the serial number, but only came with CD/DVD, no box.
Upon installation (I first deleted the trial version, even though I suspect I didn't have to, but wanted the fresh install to include manual & sample folder), and entering the serial no., I was up and running, only the splash screen says "Not for resale" (instead of the "trial version" that appeared previously).
Anyone know what the "not for resale" is indicative of, was this a free version given away originally? And, even more importantly, can this be upgraded??

What is a "Not For Resale" copy of FCS

I have a buddy who is thinking about upgrading from iMovie '09 to FCS3. He found a copy online but it is a "Not For Resale" copy and he is wondering what that is. I know they aren't eligible for upgrade pricing but what exactly is it?

Thanks for the replies. I will let my friend know. I knew that it wouldn't be upgradeable but didn't know that it wasn't even legit.
One last quick question; I have FCS2 which I had upgraded from the original FCS. Does the upgrade pricing work for all subsequent upgrades or will I have to purchase the full FCS3 to upgrade again?
I had assumed that I could get the upgrade price but never really worried about it since I am still on a G5. The G5 has been a great computer but newer software is starting to be Intel only and I am thinking hard about getting a new Mac Pro.

X120e diagnostic BIOS message "for evaluation only. not for resale"

This is just a minor quibble, but when I enable "Diagnostic" messages in the BIOS, I get the following screen:

I'm guessing the message "FOR EVALUATION ONLY. NOT FOR RESALE" isn't supposed to be there; at least this was this case for some past Thinkpad BIOSes (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-59180.html).
Or do I have some super special x120e?

I have a copy of Aperture 2 "not for sale" version. Do I still need to purchase the full version? Are they the same?

If so, it is the full version. It is the same in every way, except it is not upgradeable (so upgrading to a new version would be at full price instead of upgrade price).

transfer of cost from sub item to main item is configured in the delivery to billing copy control for the main item. go to VTFL > select the required item cateogry > here at the bottom you will find a check box Cummulate cost. Tick it.
Not really what you meant COPA purposes. But the pricing conditions are mapped to COPA value fields at KE4I transaction.

Change in start date of tax depreciation not for posting in mid of year

Hi Experts,
Tax depreciation area is not for posting. The fiscal year is from Jan to Dec. I want to calculate tax depreciation from May 2011 based on Net Book Value of tax depreciation as on 30.04.2011. But once I change the start date of tax depreciation in asset master to 01.05.2011, the system ignores the previous depreciation so I am not getting the NBV of tax depreciation of 30.04.2011.
Is any setting is required to get this. I can not do changes in posting rules since this tax depreciation is not for posting any thing.
The fiscal year 2010 is closed and NBV of tax depreciation as on 31.12.2010 of one asset is 80000, If I change the start date of tax depreciation from 1.1.2011 then system correcly take NBV of 31.12.2010 for further depreciation calculation. But if i change the start date of depreciation in between of year the system is calculating depreciation based on NBV of 31.12.2010 but ignores the tax depreciation from 1.1.2011 to 30.04.2011, which I previously run using AFAB.
Need your assistance to know is it feasible to do this.

The behaviour of the system is very much correct, it is designed to behave that way...
One, you should not have changed the dep start date....
two, NBV in SAP is always taken to be NBV @ the start of the year....
The best wayout I can suggest here is, if you are on EhP4 and EA-FIN active
a. Change the Dep Key in the asset... You can maintain Time Dependant Dep Terms in asset master i.e. Dep Key X from Jan-Apr and Dep Key Y from MAy onwards
b. This will however, calculate dep based on NBV at the start of the year, but based on new useful life
c. Considering your eg: The system is posting more depreciation i.e. 5333 instead of 5155.... So, calculate this amount outside the system and post a Manual Write up ABZU inorder to reduce the Dep and increase the NBV
Even if you are on not on EhP4, you can follow the same approach as above.... i.e.
a. Change the Dep Key in asset master.... This will throw up new dep figure, on the basis of New Useful life and NBV at the start of the year
b. Post a write up from ABZU....
No need to do Asset to asset transfer in my opinion
Only diff between EhP4 and Non EhP4 is that the differential depreciation would be lesser if you are on EhP4... i.e. instead of 5333 now, system may throw up depreciation amount of 5666.. So, you may need to post write up of 5666-5155
