Upright mode missing

I want to use the upright mode that supposedly exists in the raw importer under lens correction > manual, but when I go there, the upright mode is not showing. Does anyone know why this would happen?

Syncing Upright Mode Bug

Hi all,
It seems that syncing upright mode is not working properly. According to Lightroom – Hilfe | Upright – Automatische Perspektivenkorrektur | Lightroom 5 if you want to sync the mode and reanalyze each picture, you select upright mode and not upright transform when syncing.
However, when I do this I get the same exact result as selecting upright transform. I have played around with the options and I have found no way to produce any different result. It always only applies the same transformation. (I tried this in an exaggerated case where one picture was titled by 45 degrees so the wrong result was obvious). Is this a known bug?
I'm running LR CC (2015) on Windows 8.1.

Read Mode missing buttons

As of this morning i'm missing the page number and up and down arrows in the tranluscent hovering Read Mode when viewing PDF's in a browser
i have checked/done the following
I clicked on the Show Reader toolbar (icon
on the very right) and then right clicked on the toolbar and selected Reset
toolbars.
Same as above but instead went to Page
Navigation and then chose Reset Page Navigation Tools

Context menu & drag/drop mode missing

Hello,
when I place an existing Analyzer query in Excel there is no drag/drop mode available, even if this setting is checked by default. Also I don´t get the context menu on the right mouse button - what am I missing here? Maybe others have experienced the same thing.
I have saved a workbook, where these settings are active and working, so why not with a new query?
I am using Release 2004s SP9, Patch1, Revision 321.

It should not matter whether you use new or old query in the excel.
1. Please check the workbooks settings icon in the new design toolbar in BEx Analyzer and check the option "Allow Drag and Drop"
( But if this is the problem, you would get context menu )
2. Also check the properties of Gris(Table) item in the new design mode in BEx Analyzer and check the option "Allow Navigation"
( If this is not checked, you would not get context menu )
2. If you are not getting context menu, it might be possible that there is a failure while including the query. Please check the status bar of excel at the bottom.
There could be some failure messages.
Double Click on the status bar of excel. It will pop-up the error messages or
it will say "there are no messages"

Incredible "silence all" mode missing, reception TERRIBLE!!!!!

Seems like after the gingerbread update I'm now missing the "silence all" mode from where you hold down the power button. So how the hell do I silence everything with that now missing??? And the phone reception stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats strange that this feature was removed, well as a solution you can concider downloading Audio Manager from https://market.android.com/details?id=com.smartandroidapps.audiowidget&feature=search_result .. This allows you to create a profile for audio and plave it on the desktop to trigger the profile..

Slo-Mo Mode Missing (iPhone 6)

My iPhone 6 camera app just crashed, when I re-opened it, the Slo-Mo mode was missing. Is this a hardware or software issue? I'm running version 8.0.

Some compatibility modes missing for certain exe's ??

I found that I can get the Xerox Phaser 5500 postscript driver not to crash in Vista x64 by flagging x2jobtAO.exe to use Windows 2003 Server Sp1 compatibility mode. However in Windows 7 x64 I can't do that but I can for other executables. Only
Windows Server 2008 Sp1, Vista gold, Sp1, Sp2 modes are available. Is there a way to get back Windows 95, 98/ME, XP, 2003 modes???

I would like to suggest you perform the following steps to troubleshoot this issue.
1.
Navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers].
2.
Create a new String Value in the right pane, and name it with the full path of the program’s exe file.
3.
Modify the full path of the program’s exe file with the following Compatibility Mode Date value.
Windows 95 Mode
WIN95
Windows 98 / Windows Me Mode
WIN98
Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 5) Mode
NT4SP5
Windows 2000
WIN2000

USB Mass Storage Mode Missing :-(

I just upgraded? to the Samsung Galaxy S III today and have been very happy for the most part. However...
I am EXTREMELY disappointed that the only options to transfer files to the phone/SD Card are to use the MTP and Photo protocols. I always loved my Android phone...built off of open source software...and using open standards (things like USB Mass Storage). It is incredibly useful to be able to plug my phone into almost any PC, running any OS, and be able to transfer files to and fro.
Where is the rest of the uproar? When are we going to demand that one of the most useful features on our phone be put back. It was already there...it was already working...and has been dropped for lame, limited use protocols... Why? Who is getting paid off? Why?
Bring back USB Mass Storage Mode!!!!

It is always a good idea to do some research... I have followed your suggestion and found that Google has two reasons for using MTP instead of USB Mass Storage. They are:
1) “A main reason for using MTP rather than for example the USB mass-storage device class (MSC) is that the latter operates at the granularity of a mass storage device block (usually in practice, a FAT block), rather than at the logical file level. In other words, the USB mass storage class is designed to give a host computer undifferentiated access to bulk mass storage, such as compact flash, rather than to a file system, which might be safely shared with the target device (except for specific files which the host might be modifying/accessing). In practice, therefore, when a USB host computer has mounted an MSC partition, it assumes absolute control of the storage, which then may not be safely modified by the device without risk of data corruption until the host computer has severed the connection.“ -sombody from Google
--My Response - "I am totally OK with the SD card not being safe to be mounted. During the time I choose to be connected (only when transferring files)...I DO want the PC and not the phone to be in complete control of the SD card."
2) “MTP is a big improvement over USB mass storage — for devices with lots of internal memory, a manufacturer no longer needs to come up with some hard partition between the USB mass storage and internal storage. Instead, they are all in one partition, with MTP providing access to the directory of media files that would normally be available through USB mass storage. The storage on your device can be used for either applications or media, depending on what you want to put on it. --My Response - "I am completely OK with the removable SD card being treated separately. That is EXACTLY what I want. I want to keep MY DATA separate and only on the removable SD card. And all of the stuff that I don't care about...that can be easily reinstalled (apps and such) on the internal memory. It is a good design. The phone has enough internal memory that I don't have any trouble with space for Apps (so not a conern at all)."

Wrt300n "Operating Mode" missing

Hi i have a wrt300n v2 (firmware 2.00.17) being a bit of a pig
i seams to think that it is ppoe modem all the time, i have an adsl modem hooked in there but wont find an route to this
if there adsl modem is pluged in to the wan port (with nat switched on and on a diffrent subnet)and setup that way it works (with port farding prblems and other things up)
my help page said the should be a "Operating Mode" drop down in the
setup ---> advanced routing
page but no for me theres not any one got any ideas

I found my answer as to why it doesn't work. SSD and HDD write and read memory differently. Even booting the OS was different for Windows 7 hence the OS errors.

Expanded Tables Mode Missing

Where did Expanded Tables Mode go? This is a necessary feature for those of us that are required to support older versions of email programs that don't properly support div tags. Also, when I need to analyze older websites or emails I use the Expanded Tables mode as an analytical tool.

Yes, feature deprecation is inevitable as the web and software evolves. I've always accepted that. I was thinking more about the timing. Sometimes Adobe gets it wrong. 12.1 is a prime example.
Equally unfortunate is the fact that the first ever Cloud-only update for DW has included the removal of features with no prior warning.
We're scratching our heads and left to our own devices to explore the post-update feature set via trial-and-error in the forums.

I'd like to think that Adobe thought this scenario through when they were putting together the business model and policies for the Cloud.
It's becoming increasingly clear that that is not the case. It's policy on the run in some cases, this one included.
The only thing I've read online anywhere close to addressing this is that they give you up to 12 months to upgrade to the next version before you're "forced" to. But I think most people will upgrade the same day that the upgrade is released so I don't see this working in practice to address the scenario you've described.
Without prior warning, everyone will assume that an upgrade means new or enhanced features - not removal.

E73 Mode missing DLNA support?

I just did a quick comapre of the E72 and E73 manuals, and it appears that the E73 Mode for T-Mobile does NOT support UPnP and DLNA, even though Nokia's own Spec sheet says it does.
Did T-Mobile yank this out, or was this an oversight on Nokia's part?

There are many reported issues with the E73 from T-Mobile. You better contact them about this crippled firmware.

Compressor effect modes missing

In the training videos that come with CS3 Production Premium, when the compression effect is added to the rack, the pop up settings include a mode selection dialog. When I am editing audio from a type 2 AVI, I do not have that option. The tool only displays a slider for the amount of compression.
Where are the modes?

In the Effects panel, when you click the "fx" button and see a flyout listing the effects, the bottommost entry is another flyout labeled "Advanced." These consist of the same effects, but with full parameter options.
For example, the basic Analog Delay effect allows users to choose from the available presets and adjust the amount that the preset parameters are applied. The Advanced Analog Delay effect displays all of the available parameters to the user.

9930 No Longer Recognized in Windows Explorer (7) - USB Mode missing from Options on Connection with PC

I have a problem which recently surfaced when connecting my 9930 to my PC. In the past, when I have connected my PC, I have gotten three options (1) Charge Only (2) Media Synch (3) USB Drive. Several days ago, when I connected the 9930 to my PC the USB Drive option no longer shows up. I have always been able to see my Blackberry and the 32GB MicroSD card in contains in Windows Explorer; however, now, it does not show up. If I double click on Computer in Windows Explorer, I see two Removable Disks - E: and F:. When you double click on them, you get the message "Insert Removable Disk." I have ensure that Media Card Support in checked under Storage in Options. I have done a reset. I have pulled the battery. I have uninstalled the Blackberry Desktop Software and reinstalled it - all to no avail. I have also connected this device to two other Windows 7 PCs and it doesn’t show up on either PC. It encounters an error while trying to down load drivers on of which pertains to MTB drivers. I have also gone into Device Manager and uninstalled the drivers associated with the 9930 and reinstalled them. Nothing has worked. I have removed the microsd card and replaced it. I have upgraded the BB OS to the most current version. If anyone has any ideas to pursue, I would appreciate their insight.

You have covered alot by testing with a new media card and with a different PC, I would suggest backing up and doing a clean reload of the BlackBerry device software as shown here: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB11320
Please test before restoring any data to the device.
If this resolves the issue do a selective restore of essential data (Address Book, Calendar, Task, Memos, BBM contacts etc.)

MSI GT 683 - Turbo and Eco mode missing (How to install)

Hi everyone.
I have a MSi GT 683 that i bought a few years ago. It was getting a little slow so i decided to give it a fresh start, so i formated the pc and reinstalled windows 7.
After i did that i installed all the drivers that i found on the GT 683 page on Msi.com. But even after installing all the drivers, the Turbo and Eco buttons don`t work.
Can anyone tell me what can i do to solve this? And if there is a specific driver that i have to install, which one is it?

Keyboard in Number Pad mode missing return button

Good day everyone,
I've been googling for a way to show a keyboard layout for just numbers that contain the return key in it but I think until now (iOS 7) there is none by default, so I would have to built my own.
If so, what technique would you guys/gals recommend?

UIViews that accept text editing like UITextView and UITextField have two properties .inputView and .inputAccessoryView. The first is the keyboard the later is a toolbar to be on top of the keyboard.
You can just create a .xib file with a UIToolbar and a nice UITabButtonItem of your own and at viewDidLoad load the Xib file and set it as the .inputAccessoryView of the UITextField / UITextView you have using the numeric keyboard.
Don't forget to properly connect the action of the UIBarButtonItem to a method in your code for where you should call [UITextField resignFirstResponder]; to achieve what you want
