UPS Jobs Stuck at Pausing

Hi All,
I am facing a problem with my Farm UPS. There are two UPS services running in the farm. my Farm consists of two App server and two WFEs and 2 Search Server and 1 OWA server. In App1 we have created two UPS services and in App2 we have created 1 UPS service.
the Service created in APP2 is not in use but there is a timer job related to that Service running in the farm level.
In App1 there are two UPS services running. one of them is functional and the other one is not functional. I want to know how to find which one of my UPS is running and which one is not functional. also I would like to know can I delete the non functional
UPS from APP1 and APP2 server. will the deletion cause any problem to the farm?
Also when I am checking the running times jobs of the farm I see the below timer job running in pausing mode for a long time (almost 10 days)
User Profile Service Application - Activity Feed Cleanup Job
UPS - Activity Feed Cleanup Job
User Profile Service Application - Activity Feed Job
UPS - Activity Feed Job
User Profile Service Application - User Profile Language Synchronization Job
UPS - Social Data Maintenance Job

and the below timer job are running in "Running" State for more than 10 days.
Crawl Log Cleanup for Search Application Search Service Application.
Rebalance crawl store partitions for Search Service Application
Can anybody please help me?

We have a SharePoint 2010 farm and our Audit table is growing rapidly. I checked our "Audit log Trimming" timer job and it has been stuck at "pausing" status for more than a month. Any advice to resolve this issue would be great.

Can you please explain in more detail what you meant by that. I was thinking of trying to trim the Audit log using this script in small batch. Can you please let me know if this script seems right?

At first i would like to delete all datas that are older than 1021 days old and eventually get rid of the other logs in smaller chunks. Any advice and suggestion would be highly appreciated.

User Profile Service - User Profile Incremental Synchronization Progress: 33% Status: Pausing
It has been almost 15 days.
Both User Profile Service and User Profile Synchronization Service are in Started state and FIM service also starting
I tried clearing sharePoint config cache.
I also restarted the sharepoint timer service.
I tried almost everything that is on Internet but nothing helped me.
Is there any other way to solve the issue as I was struck on production server (ASAP)
In synchronization serivce manager status of MOSS_DeltaImport is Inprogress from past 2 days

Or try to clear the file system cache on all servers in the server farm on which the Windows SharePoint Services Timer service is running. Microsoft has provided a step by step procedure on clearing file system cache from the SharePoint front-end servers

I have checked all diagnostics and connections and they are all good/passed. I am so frustrated!!! This has never happened in the past.

What is asking you for an admin name and password? What does the dialog say, exactly?
What model iMac are you using, and which OS version?
If it is earlier than Lion or Snow Leopard, try deleting the printer and adding it again as explained in this document

HT5544 I pre order a book and it is stuck on pause everything I do to get it to download says the book is already downloaded but it not imhave call and everything how cani delete it and get my money back so I can reorder the book.

Try going into store then entring apple ID along the bottom...there's a tap for hidden downloads, slide finger across to unhidden then it should come bak into your library. Hope it works it did for me .

Share Monitor: Job stuck in queue "Canceling..."

After chosing to export a video, I check the status in Share Monitor and there's a job stuck in the queue in "Canceling..." status that's keeping the new export from starting.

PSC 1410 - print job stuck in queue

Sometimes my PSC 1410 stops printing part-way through a page: the warning lights "jam" and "cartridge" come on, although the paper path clears after pressing On/Resume when the spoiled sheet emerges (undamaged), and the cartridges are at about half life and have been aligned. Apart from the waste of paper and ink, the great problem is that the stuck job remains in the queue and does not respond to Cancel or Delete: even switching printer and computer off and on still leaves the job stuck in the queue sometimes, when it has been known to restart printing automatically.
Can anybody tell me a sure-fire method of clearing the stuck job out of the queue ?

Download is stuck in pause

I tried downloading a free game off of the mac app store and it was interrupted. Now it is permanently "stuck" in pause. I've tried going into the purchases to redownload (or delete it at this point), but it just says "waiting" and the pause button is greyed out so I can't press it. FYI everything else I've downloaded, I am able to "download" or "open." Can someone help me figure out how to get rid of this? At this point I would just like to delete the app since it was free. Backup job stuck in running state

Hi
I am using 11gR2 RAC on Windows 2008 R2. I have several different database jobs stuck in a running state. However if I check the view v$session_longops I can not see anything in there relating to RMAN. If I drill down to the job and the step that is running, in the Error Log it states:
error writing input to command
Could someone point me in the right direction as to how to investigate this?

OS X Lion stuck on pause and will not resume

I have tried multiple times to install OS X Lion on my iMac, however, now it simply says that is stuck on pause, and even if I try to resume the download, it won't do anything. We have tried restarting the computer multiple times, but no matter what it simply stays stuck, or when we cancel it, which is what it about the only thing it will let us do, and try to reinstall it again, the icon looks like it's going to the dock and then disappears. I'm at my wits end, and I don't know what else to do. Can someone please help?

One thing worth noteing;
I've also jumped thru many hoops as posted !
I now seem to be downloading and have come to realize
the progress bar is finally showing progress YEA!
[ it wasn't apparent initially with small dock icon. ]
I have SBC Global DSL which only has 1.77 mpbs with busy 4 user LAN.
be patient ... apparently it can take a while.

Try deleting the problematic book (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iBook store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iBook store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.

Streams Help - Stuck in PAUSED FOR FLOW CONTROL

Hi All,
I am brand new to Streams and i'm trying to configure streams between two db's on different machines on the same network. Initially i was getting errors trying to connect to the remote database during Propagation(ORA-02019 connection description for remote database not found ). I think this was due to my db link being created incorrectly. I recreated my db link and i'm no longer getting those messages.
Now everything on my Source db looks like it's running except the Capture state is stuck in PAUSED FOR FLOW CONTROL and nothing is being propagated. The propagation process is enabled and i can see it in the dba_jobs views. I have never gotten this working yet.
Does anyone have general troublshooting tips for this. I have found detailed instructions on how to setup the stream but not much on how to troubleshoot.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

This error was due to a 'bad' database link. I'm still not positive why the link was bad but i recreated my db link and tested. After i confirmed it was active I re-setup my capture and propagation processes and all is good now.
