Urgent - and probably easy - audio tracks appear without faders

in my logic pro song i have 20+ instrument tracks, most with exs24's on them.
i also have 20+ audio tracks, but only the first 4 display with faders, 5-20+ display without faders, without plugins, and have no output
is there a way to get a fader, and output on these audio tracks?
please help, a client is coming over today!!

Why won't both audio tracks appear on the timeline????

Hello,
here is a dumb question. When I drag my clips to the timeline only one audio track appears on the timeline and I know there are two track of audio. I must have accidently changed some settings. anyone know what's up?

Are both audio tabs connected to the timeline? Just to the left of the timeline are the V1 and A1 and A2 audio tabs from the source clips. Is one disconnected?

Urgent editing crisis! Audio track A1 on the timeline has locked itself (not the 'lock symbol').

I can move the video footage but the audio is stuck. I get the red plus/minus (audio out of sync) when I move the video footage. I can't even right click on any of the files in the Audio 1 track, they are completely 'locked'. If I right click on the video footage that correspond with the A1 audio they have all ben 'on-linek'. Audio track 2 and 3 works absolutely fine and i can change length, delete and right click on them. What have I done wrong? Tried everything but can seem to find a solution.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Sources with 5.1 and 2.0 audio tracks in file

I have a quicktime file that contains 8 audio tracks - the first is 5.1 (i.e. 6 channels), the second is 2.0 (i.e. the stereo downmix of the 5.1).
Tracks 3-8 are mono iso channels
Is there a way of PPro correctly interpreting the tracks as such?
Currently it defaults to presenting them as 3 x 5.1 tracks and modifying the audio channels offers the options of them all being 5.1 or all stereo or all mono etc

looks like when changing the audio channels its all or nothing, so all 5.1 or all stereo/mono. i was able to make a multichannel sequence and then modify the audio channels of the video clip. i set the audio tracks to 1, then made the audio channels 5.1 and brought in just the 5.1 track, then made it stereo selecting ch7/8 and brought in just the stereo track. i changed the mixer to send the stereo track to ch7/8 for export too. but now on export it wants to export as 5.1 or multichannel 8 mono/stereo. so even while getting it configured for the timeline, the export isn't smart enough to export 5.1+stereo... maybe im missing something, or premiere is really crippled for audio.

Trouble with Premiere timeline moving up and down multiple audio tracks.

I have a project that has multiple audio tracks, aver 40. Only a portion of them are visible even when I use the new side scroll, I don't know the official name but the scroll on the side that Increases or decrease the size of the track so you can see the waveform. Even when I hide the video tracks and the other preview panels I still can't see all my audio tracks. How do I scroll up and down so I can see the tracks that I want to work on. You know, like in every other program I have ever used.

I feel like there's a bit of egg on my face. Rereading your message and messing with the horizontal bar I realized for both horizontal and vertical bars I grab in the center and drag left or right, up or down. There's a short cut for scrolling up and down your timeline tracks, hold down ctrl/cmd and then use the scroll wheel on your mouse, and that's what I was doing for my project last night. Ah growing pains of learning a new workspace.

When I drag a synchonised clip to timeline, can I turn off the video's audio track only without breaking apart clips?

I have preparred many clips by synchonising them with audio recorded on H4N - and have these in keywords.
When I drag them to the timeline, do I have to break apart each clip item to turn off the video's audio track or is there a shortcut to doing this?

For each clip you can go to the audio portion of inspector and uncheck/disable the tracks you don't desire. That would take longer than Tom's method, but I think the audio won't show up as a blank later on.

How do i remove buzz and hiss from audio track?

I'm using Premiere Elements 13, Windows 8, 64 bit
My original film has some hiss and buzz that I would like to remove. I tried applying DeNoiser and New Blue Hum Remover, but neither seemed to make a difference. Perhaps I need to tweek the tools to make them suppress more of the unwanted sound? Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

If the Premiere Elements audio effects are not working for you, please check out the noise removal offered by the free audio editor named Audacity. Have you used that before?

Premiere only showing and playing 1 Audio Track when my file has 2

I recorded some gameplay while also talking through my mic.
When I play the .avi file in VLC I'm able to switch between 2 tracks.
Track 1 has my gameplay sound and track 2 has my voice commentary.
When I place my file into Premiere it only shows and plays the gameplay sound.
How do I show both tracks in Premiere so I can edit them separately?

Sync Picts and Video to Audio Track

imported mp3 of song and wanted to build everything else around the song.
for ex, i have a video piece that starts a 1 min and syncs perfectly to audio. then i added pict at 30 seconds, and it shifted the video at 1 minute 5 seconds later.
is there a way to not have it shift what is already in time?

This seems to be the major drawback - making use of iMovie 08 near NON.
I will stay with iM HD 6, FCE and FCP. May be it is Apple way of pushing
uppward and forward.
SO THEY OUGHT TO REDUCE THE PRICE WITH SAME as for the investment of

how do you mix down, or combine audio channels? I have something on the left channel and want to mix it to mono. Why can't I, or can I, do this in the mixer?

Really dumb and probably easy question

Hey everyone. This is prob a very naive and seemingly stupid question, but how do I compile a package so that I get the .class files that I need to incorporate a library into my project? I downloaded this package I need, but it only has .java files in it. Im using Windows 95 and Borland Jbuilder.

You need to download the newest Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SETM) software. A release of the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition version 1.4 software for Windows, Linux, and Solaris is now available to the Java community!
Follow this link to download it: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html
Once you get it, it can be a little tricky to install it. You may need to set you system's path setting differently depending on your OS.
Once you get this installed you can access the file you need by going into the directory, under your command prompt (go to run, then they cmd), the .java file is and type javac (for java complier) program name.java. This will turn it into a class file.
Example:
javac Lala.java -> Lala.class

Chord Track and Previous Midi/Audio Tracks

How do I include loops in some tracks which are transposed using the Chord Track while leaving previously created midi tracks untransposed? I've tried a couple of different ways but everything gets transposed. So, of course, it sounds awful.

Any chance this is in the wrong forum?

Is there an easy way to remove audio track from .mp4

Guys
Wondered if anybody knows of a way to take a .mp4 file with a silent audio track exported and remove that audio track altogether without having to reconvert the video in AME- just deleting the (silent) audio track
Have lots of files that need this and was looking for a way to do this without going back and reexporting all the clips the hard way
Any thoughts much appreciated-- (I have access to both Windows 7 and WIndows XP pro 64 bit)

I figured that would work but for some reason the resulting files did not play correctly--Alternatively I used Mpegstreamclip -opened the video I wanted to erase audio track from--- clicked on "edit--delete audio track" then clicked "save as" and this finally accomplished what I was trying to do--Now have a copy of the .mp4 file wo audio

Multiclips and multiple audio tracks playing at the same time

I've only just taken delivery of my first ever mac (only ever used PC) with FCP, and I'm loving it already! Done lots of reading and viewing of video etc etc, and it's not as daunting as I thought it might be. I have one question the books don't seem to answer, and I can only find one reference to this on this site, with no definitive response. FCP5 probably doesn't work this way, but just in case someone knows different......
I film and edit motorsport (karting) programmes for television in the UK, using multiple cameras. I usually lay all the video and audio tracks on the timeline, (synched) lock the audio for each (as it is engine noise, and I want it playing without abrupt changes at cuts as each kart passes each camera, whether in shot or not) then cut the video tracks and delete those video segments not required.
The most exciting aspect of FCP5 for me is the multiclip editing facility, which I have found very easy to learn and is going to save me hours of work! However, I want to know if there is a way of having each audio track from each camera used in the multiclip laid down on the timeline when you import the multiclip to the timeline from the viewer, in order that I can play each audio track from each of the cameras at the same time.
I know how to cut from angle to angle, leaving the audio from the selected angle as the one audio track playing, but I want all of the tracks to appear in the timeline and play at the same time. I know there's a bit of a workaround by locking the video and importing each audio track from each clip independently, but if you do have to re-synch one of the multiclips, this means the audio is not then synched with the original clip, which will have had an in point set before being imported in as part of a multiclip.
I can understand why you might want to keep audio from one camera only playing over the whole multiclip, or to switch between audio from each, but in my case I prefer all audio to play at the same time. The workaround is still do-able for me as I'm only talking about engine notes, which if they are a few frames out is not very noticeable at all, but I would like to know if I'm right in thinking I cannot do it the way I would like to?
Wish I'd used FCP from the start, but glad I've got it now.....especially with the 30 inch screen! It's 4.40am, been going over 19 hours straight and I'm still making comments like...."WOW, that's brilliant"...every half hour!
