Urgent: Audigy 2 NX Compatabil

Hi
Just bought an HP and need to confirm compatibility w/ Audigy 2 NX. I'm going to use it to record multi-tracks for vocal & acoustic guitar using Adobe Audition. THis product seems to have all the features I need to record, mix & master. I was looking at the Platinum series spec which specifies celeron compatability, but it calls for a PCI/2. minimum and my HP has a 2.0 spec. I'm going w/one of your products, just want to make my selection is 00% compatible w/the HP. I've included the spec's for Adobe and my HP below - thanks for any feedback!

Hi everybody,I am currently using an Audigy 2 Platinum with fron panel. Because this card is 6. card and I have 7. Creative Speakers, I am going to buy Audigy 2 ZS (7.). But I don't want to purchase Audigy 2 ZS Platinum because I already I have front panel. So my question is; Can I use my Audigy 2 Platinum's I/O Front Panel with Audigy 2 ZS? Audigy 2 ZS has got AD_EXT Pins on its board but I wanted to ask you if it will work?And also does Audigy 2 ZX come with MediaSource 2 or ?Thanks a lot

I am not sure exactly what the differences are, but my understanding is that some of the chips used may be different (and of course they are labeled differently). Functionally they are the same so there is no reason why you should have a problem with it.
The difference between the way the Audigy 2 and the original Audigy is quite a bit. This means that the dri've bays for the two are not compatible. Although connecting them shouldn't cause damage, they are not the same connection and there is always the possibility. Since the Audigy dri've won't work with the Audigy 2 or 2 ZS I would recommend not connecting them.

hello - my computer has been bombarded with spyware, causing frequent freezes and problems with my workstation - i have no choice but to reformat my computer as quick as possible, but in moving my installation disc was damaged and no longer works. i had purchased SB Audigy Platinum EX with my computer, yet the dealer from whom i purchased it has told me that my warranty does not cover it so they are of no help - will i be able to reinstall this using the downloadable drivers from this site? if so, which ones? i don't need all the extra stuff that comes with it, i just need the bare minimum to dri've the hardware, as i need my sounds back as soon as possible - thank you in advance!

We have a full Audigy driver on the web, you can find it under Support > Download Drivers. Just fill in this filename in the Search By Filename option:

Urgent help with my Audigy 2

Something have happend with my NX. All thats happening with it now is that the 3 lights on it flashes. Windows dont find it anymore and no sound comes through it. Have tried to disconnect all cables to it and just have the power cable in it but still same problem. Is there any solution for it or is it dead?

My NX is left on 24hours, never had any problems with it. The only strange this that happened is when i formatted my machine and was re-installing everything, whilst installing its drivers it was emiting a terrible scream over my speakers and then when i restarted i could only select the speakers settings as headphones, and not 5. so i restarted with headphones plugged out and and pluged them back in and all was okay.

Samplitude 2496 and Audigy 4 sound card problem any suggestions please

I have a problem. I have installed Audigy 4. All looks good. I am editing music in a software called Samplitude 2496. But I simply cannot playback. I beleive Samplitude needs ASIO support to be able to playback. A window pops up when ever I try to playback saying
"Cannot open waveform output device 'SB Audigy 4[D800]'!
"The specified format is not support or cannot be translated. Use the capabilities function to determine the supported format".
I cannot find any ASIO in my system yet Audigy 4 says it has ASIO2 support. Does this mean Audigy software has the ASIO or does this mean I need to download the ASIO for the Samplitude playback.
Any suggestions most welcome urgently.

If you have installed Creative bundled drivers for your card, ASIO drivers are installed already. Check on Samplitude Audio settings, if you see those drivers listed there -> NOTE:! you need to select ASIO 24/96 driver for 24/96 data. AFAIK, other (two) CT ASIO drivers supports 6/48 only (least this is the situation w/ Audigy 2).

PLEASE HELP: installing my Soundblaster Audigy LS-soundcard with the latest hardware(bundle)drive

Problem:
I have a Soundblaster Audigy LS Soundcard in one of my PCI slots (I already tried the other slot with the same result). I run Windows XP professional SP2.
When I install the hardwaredriver-bundle version: Sound Blaster Audigy LS .04.0055, I have no problem, but when I install version .0.4.077 (in this example: or I install version 055 or I install version 077), I have the following problem: (through Control Panel) in system properties/hardware/device manager, I find PCI Device listed in " other devices " with a black exclamationmark in a yellow circle, while the SB Audigy LS is listed in the group " sound, video and game controllers ". The soundcard works, which is great but why is the exclamationmark showing? I already tried a different PCI slot, IRQ assignement in BIOS, but is still shows. The strange thing is, if I install first version 055 and then version 077, the problem is gone. A new problem that occurs if I do so, is that the PC hangs when starting Windows (but I'm not sure if that has to do with the fact that I install version MediaSource 5 Player-Organizer 5.20.23 over version 5.0.38, just to keep the MediaSourceGo! Toolbar (because it's no longer part of the softwarebundle version 20.23 - which has been confirmed by the support of Creative), the same with version of CD Burner Plugin 5.0.44 over 5.0.3 because it's not really clear on the website, if you need the previous version or if it's a full "update"). Please URGENT (with detailed info on every explained problem/issue - so I can try to resolve it) help.

maybe you should ask Eugene Gavrilov (?) to write his KX-Drivers for MSDOS too.. maybe he'll do so if you donate him an Audigy 4 *lol*

Problems with Audigy ZS & AudioHQ

She is already installed and working, but in AUDIOHQ she is not appearing the icon of SoundFonts as appeared when I had a Creative Li've. Audigy LS not recognized, Audio Suite won't inst

I've had my Audigy LS for a few years and the EAX feature has been working fine most of the time. But recently, after not playing for awhile, San Andreas has become a bit screwed up, as well as some other games. I cannot hear sounds directly in front of me/my character. Things are loudest from the sides. I know EAX is supposed to simulate surround sound and environment noise (Which it does very well in Splinter Cell and Battlefield 2), but not being able to hear what's in front of me isn't good. I haven't been able to disable EAX because the Audio Suite won't install. When I try, it give me the message:
"Setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system.
Click the Retry button to re-detect your device and continue the installation.
Click the Cancel button to quit this installation and go back to your Windows desktop."
I can see Audigy LS in my device manager, it says it's "working properly", and it's set as the device for all my audio. So what's the problem? I also tried extracting the app's .exe, but to no avail (works for installing .NET 2.0). Please help.

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that installing drivers (Either beta or Win7 drivers) for win 8.1 will work.
Usually someone re-posts the links for the beta drivers, but I cannot really depict how long of a wait you might need to have for that though.. Or if we are lucky someone from our forums will post it here.
Any chance to settle for 5.1 sound?

Cannot find Audigy 2 ZS Notebook software. *Urge

I am looking for the software for the Audigy 2 ZS Notebook for a friend of mine. He cannot locate the original disc and a bunch of the software is missing from Creative's website. The most important parts of the software?are the THX Setup Console and the Graphic Equalizer.
This is fairly urgent as my friends lappy is going to be used at a party to supply the music. If anyone has a copy of the installation disc or if anyone knows where I can get my hands on this software, I would be greatly appreciati've!

? A soundfont cannot contain alle drumkits, and it is not nessecary at all. I dont know a soundfont bank wich contains a complete set of drumkits, too. There are only some soundfonts like the crysis soundfont (to big for its "bad" quality) wich have some dummy-drumkits/ entrys or slightly modified sounds for each than usual. If all drumnkits would be stored in high-quality, the soundfont would be huge... Every synth i know uses the standard drumkit, if the chosen one is not existent. This is not optimal, but it will guarantee, that the the MIDI file or Program/ game will work. The KXDrivers wont do this. SO they are not useable for General MIDI. Only for MIDIs and soundfonts fitting together. But thats not the point of General MIDI. CMSS isnt working with these drivers, too. Dolby decoding/ encoding isnt possible with them, either. These drivers are not bad, but if you want a completely working card, KXdrivers are worthless.

Audigy under Windows Server 2003

I've installed Windows Server 2003 for a Project at work but I'm unable to get the audigy working. After insatlling Win XP Drivers I get the message 0x80070057 at the direct Sound Tab of direct X. When i disable hardware acceleration, the system says, there is no sound card. I've already started the service for sound in Windows and the system founds the line in and the MIDI processor, but no output device. I've also tested the KX audio-Dirver but the same problem appears.

I have audigy 2 NX plugged into a windows 2003 server, ASUS S-Presso.
Although I respect that it is not supported, any help would be appreciated!
All the software installs correctly, once installed, diagnostics completes, etc and the remote control works. The only problem is that he machine will hang (and go 00% CPU) the moment it attempts to make a sound (the NX also goes to "mute").
Audigy sound card driver :- dated: 9/26/2003
The composite device that associates itself with the audigy is:Microsoft, 0//2002 - 5.2.3790.0
(I tried changing the composite device for the one on the audigy CD, and this does not help). I think the composite device it installs came with my wireless mouse/kwyboard from Microsoft?
I tried the standard creative updates, but they do not correct the problem.
I tested the NX on a normal XP laptop and it works fine.
Previously I had a Philips rhythmic edge, and this still works perfectly (.89 drivers). I did uninstall it's drivers and the card but this did not help.
I do have another USB audiodevice on the system. A Tiptel "cyberbox" 00 VOIP gateway. I am concerned about a comflict with this one.
I need windows 2003 because of a work application that requires it, but I would be willing to run w2003 in a VMware it if I was sure that going out and buying a XP home license would solve my problem.

Windows no longer detecting my Audigy 4?(Non-P

Hey all. I've had my Audigy 4 (non-Pro) installed and working super for about 50 days, but it started giving me a weird problem. Windows was no longer detecting the card! It was weird. DX Diag, programs like EVEREST... they all report no sound card whatsoever.
Here are my PC specs:
XP Home Edition
Albatron K8X800 Pro
S754 3200+ ClawHammer
x 2 OCZ ELPE 52 MB(2-3-2-5)
Visiontek XTASY X850XT PE
x 80 GB SATA 2 Seagate, x 80 GB Maxtor
Some other things to note:
XP has been repaired. Went from Service Pack , updates, and all the way to Service Pack 2. The card requires XP w/SP2, yes, so I have that covered.
Onboard audio is disabled through the bios. I have AC'97 integrated audio on this.
My motherboard has fi've PCI slots - although I can only access 4 because my video card is in the way, and I have tried three of those and I get the same problem.
I have tried it in other PCs in my house, double-checked each time - so it is not ESD as I originally believed. It works just fine on those PCs. It is being not located only on MY PC.
So guys and gals, I do not know what to do... I am stumped. It's the weekend so I can't call Creative support until Monday. I don't want to request an RMA through my warranty because clearly it's just a problem with my PC. What should I do?!Message Edited by Celsius on -26-2005 07:36 PM

i am pretty new using ABAP program so i neeed help urgently. i am trying to move a file on the application server from one directory to the other and i was using the open dataset function to do that. but the file i am trying to move is pretty big and because i am using internal table to store, it is causing problems with the space.
i have consulted the basis guys and they have managed to create a logical file for copying from one directory to the other on the application server. to help you furthter. i am enclosing the mail sent to me.
I have created a logical command which should copy the file from one location to the other but you need to pass it the source dir and file name and the destination dir and file name.
The logical command is ZCOPY and uses cmd /c copy
Copies one or more files to another location.
COPY [/V] [/N] [/Y | /-Y] [/Z] [/A | /B ] source [/A | /B]
 [+ source [/A | /B] [+ ...]] [destination [/A | /B]]
source Specifies the file or files to be copied.
/A Indicates an ASCII text file.
/B Indicates a binary file.
destination Specifies the directory and/or filename for the new file(s).
/V Verifies that new files are written correctly.
/N Uses short filename, if available, when copying a file with a
 non-8dot3 name.
/Y Suppresses prompting to confirm you want to overwrite an
 existing destination file.
/-Y Causes prompting to confirm you want to overwrite an
 existing destination file.
/Z Copies networked files in restartable mode.
The switch /Y may be preset in the COPYCMD environment variable.
This may be overridden with /-Y on the command line. Default is

Confirmation of balance - urgent

Hi,
We are using print program SAPF130K and SAPF130D for vendor and customer respectively.
My query is can we bring even the cleared items alongwith the open items in the same print program???
Now we have line items of open line items only?? As per our exploration into the program... we get only open items..
Also we are using SAP10 and SAP11 as the correspondence type.Kindly advise as to correspondence type should be changed so that it can print both the open and cleared items?
