URGENT BIG PROBLEM NEEDING EXPERT!

I recently bought a ipod mini 4gen 4gb, and when i received It I onlu had a Windows ME computer, when i received it it wasnt charged so I pluged it in my windows ME computer and a screen came up asking me to reformate drive, not paying attention I did. Now every time I open Ipod a file icon with an exclamation make apeared then the ipod shuts down. I asked arround and people said that I need to restore it, So i went to a windows XP computer, installed the software and restored it,
when it was done being restored it asked me to plug it into the portable firewire. Now every time i open my ipod, instead of having the file icon with a exclamation mark theres a picture of a wall plug, and an arrow to show something being plugged, someone told me it was portatif firewire, which wasnt included in the ipod.
I tried calling tech support but since i bought ipod on ebay the warranty was over and its 59$ for a question
please help me this is pretty bad and I can only access windows XP computer on weekends so please help me before weeken ends!

The first generation mini came supplied with a power adapter as standard. One of the reasons it did, was that when you restore the iPod's software via a usb connection, then you need to plug the iPod into a wall outlet via the adapter to complete the process. Hence the picture you are seeing on the iPod's screen.
There is no way around this.
Perhaps you should contact the seller and ask why it was sold without the charger?
And btw, it's not a 4th gen as you incorrectly stated in your OP.

Does modification of Transfer rule and update rule require data deletion from all the dependent data targets?
Hi Experts,
Two new key figures have been added in data source and subsequently in transfer rules, updated rules, ODS and cubes there in data flow.
The changes are supposed to move in production on this weekend. I am afraid; does this activity require data deletion from the data targets before moving the transports?
With out deletion of the data can these transports be moved in prod?
Please reply with your valuable advice.

and you need to have data for the added key figure in the cube/ods for the already existing records in the cube/ods.for this you copy content in other cube/ods and do delete and reload the data to the new changed cube/ods.

i have a k8n neo platinum edition, nvidia nforce3 250gb chipset mobo. recently i was playing on my computer then out of no where it just shuts off. went to try to turn it back on and the computer fans spun for less then a second then went off and nothing else happened. i assumed immediately that it was probally a bad psu so i bought a new one, and i still have the same problem. ive taken everything but the graphics card,processor, and psu out and it still wont work. i get no post or anything and the fans on the out side are the ownly things that react to me hitting the power button. i have no clue what else to try or do. i really need to get on it for work very soon. also i built this computer 2 or 3 years ago and havent had a problem till now.

Now my problem is Today I started my new PC and ready to install Windows 7 OS unfortunately .. It Hangs up at "Setup Is Starting Windows"
After sever attempts I found that system hangs up at a stage when the files must be copying to HardDisk ..
So I removed my HardDisk and tried to install .. The same problem I face ..
It always hangs at "Setup Is Starting Windows"

Delivery problems BIG problems Need help
I am a very good customer and for the first time I went online to purchase items I put the following shipping address Exp: SE 28 St MA 44401 It was a mistake it was suppose to be SE 28 Av Now the address show SE 28 st 44416, yes I put 28St instead of 28av, but I never put 44416 Now while the package still in transit, I called UPS to ask them to reroute the package the answer: Best Buy needs to do that, I asked Why? Reason an extra $10.00 will be charge to the shipper and we need there permission. After over 5 hours of emails and aggravations no ones want to help at Best Buy online. I offer to pay for the mistake and it's not even an option. To top it off , if I never receive the packages I loose everything!!! This is unbelievable, frustrating and makes a very good client mad..... very mad. It takes only one call from Best Buy to reroute these items. Instead they choose not to call even if I pay the extra charges. How's that possible !?!?!?!?!? Please is there someone there to help If there is anyone at Best Buy reading this message please do something about it, Yes it is a mistake a small one and 5 minutes of your time would correct everything. We are running out of time delivery dates in 2 days. And if someone else can help me to post this at the proper place Please let me know.

Strainge problem need expert advice
Hey guys
I am into strange problem where I have to integrate cluster and EMC storage for that I have to take 1 NIC port from default nic port present on the server and 3 NIC port from quad card which is also present on the server. Right now I have connect all ports to a network for testing purpose.
Now the problem is when I remove network from either of the three ports present on the Quad card then rest of the ports i.e 2 port from quad card & 1 from inbuilt port present on the server are pinging from the network. But when I remove network from default NIC port present on the server then all rest of the three port from the quad card are also stop pinging from the network.
Could any one help me in solving this problem. What I actually want is, when I remove network from default port present on the server then rest of the three ports present on the quad card should ping on the networkyes all are in same subnet

Week Old MacBook, Big Problem need help fast!!
Well im on my Macbook tonight and i get a message about a new softwhare update so i go ahead and instal it. Then it tells me to restart my comp so i do and as it boots up my screan goes blue and nothing happens. Its just blue. I shut it down and restart it and same thing only this time its goes from blue to a black screan. And jsut my luck its 11:30 at night so i cant call mac. Im pretty peturbed that this would happen to a less than a week old Macbook. Please help me. THanks

Big problem; Need to know if it's possible to recover my iTunes library
Well, I just recently got an iPod and started using iTunes. I didn't really have a huge library but I had recently purchased around 50 songs. My hard drive crashed on me a few days ago and I wasn't able to recover anything from it because it was unable to be read by any computer I hooked it up to.
So basically, my iTunes and everything is gone now and I hadn't yet backed it up (was planning to do that this weekend once I purchased a couple more songs), and I was just wondering if there's any way for me to recover my library and songs that I had. (at least maybe my purchased ones?)Sure, in itunes 7 and later, you can transfer purchases from an iPod back to a PC after that PC has been authorized for itunes.

Having big problems with Creative Zen Micro Photo!! I need much urgent help!
Hi. I am having a big problem with my MP3 Creative Zen Micro Photo device at the computer.Here is the thing:Before I bought this I had the regular Zen Micro & having fun with it. I had no problems with that when I used the Media Explorer to transfer songs. So I bought the Zen Micro Photo & installed it my computer. As normal I used the Media Explorer to transfer songs & pictures.So I reinstalled Windows XP at my computer, and when I installed the CD that followed to transfer new songs, the Windows said that it's an unknown thing I have connected in the USB.So I installed Service Pack & 2. I have tried to install drivers from the cd but it seems that there are no drivers on the cd! The big problem is that when I connect the MP3 to the computer, it doesn't read it's a Zen Micro, it's just unknown! So the Zen Micro Photo Media Explorer program doesn't work & I can't transfer songs or picture on it! And it just happened after I re-installed Windows on my computer. The same thing happened on my brother's computer after he re-installed windows. And when I connect the MP3 to the USB, it says that it's not a USB 2.0, but .! And I am sure it is 2.0 because it has always been like that before I re-installed windows. Also the MP3 does not re-charge when I put it my computer! The battery is just the same, it tries to do it but it doesn't. So I am using my sisters computer to charge the MP3 & transfer songs. I have tried everything but I can't seem to understand what the problem is? I have never experienced something like this before, and I really hope you can help me with this! To be honest I think what I am missing is the driver. So can someone PLEASE provide me the link for the driver? I have downloaded all those 3 on www.creative.com, but they are none of them! I have big problems with mountain lion. you can not have a boot disk system I resulted in the need to re-download the os from scratch impiegandoci 8 hours, it is outrageous even with windows 95.
at least that the operator has confirmed to me that he called me. I also have problems with either the start of the mac with the power off. I can not understand if it crashes or is just very very slow.
Finally, I have a problem with the external hard disck. I often said to have been ejected incorrectly (not true) and I start to restore the startup recovery disk because disk utility is ineffective from the normal operating system .. is a shocking thing, but how you reduced. in four years it had never happened. seem to have windows or worse. 1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
Don't be put off merely by the seeming complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. All it does is to collect information about the state of the computer. That information goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. However, you should be cautious about running any kind of program (not just a shell script) at the behest of a stranger. If you have doubts, search this site for other discussions in which this procedure has been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that the instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
Paste into the window of another application.
Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
4. You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken in “normal” mode, under the conditions in which the problem is reproduced. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
5. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
6. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start Time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
