Urgent: Can Overtime hours be directly charged to a WBS, Project etc.

Dear Team:
Can Overtime hours be directly charged to a WBS, Project etc.
Let me have a Business Solution as well as the SAP solution to do the same requirement.
For example:
If an employee has worked for a Project - Instrumentation for 8 hours + 4 hours as overtime. The total 12 hours to be charged to Instrumentation Project.
Currently we are following as 8 hours are charged directly to the Project using Project Systems Data Entry Profile and 4 hours overtime using HR Data Entry Profile. These overtime hours are not getting directly charged to the Project but these are getting paid.
How the above 4 hours of overtime be charged against a project as well as to be paid as overtime. Please assist.

I didn't get you. Please could you explain me clearly.
Now my scenario is as follows:
If an employee has worked for a project he would be recording his man hours using the Project Systems Profile. For example he has worked on 24.03.2008 for 10 hours for an X project. He books the 10 hours in the project, but in this case 2 hours is overtime to be paid, so he goes to the HR Data entry profile and books the 2 hours as overtime for date 24.03.2008. These 2 hours are recorded in infotype 2002 and payment is made as per the calculation.
10 hours which went to Project Systems will be based on some fixed amount per hour as per the settings. But these 2 hours cost which was paid as overtime in HR should be reflected in the project instead of the normal cost which was set in PS.
More clear:
Project Systems - 1 hour rate is Rs.30.
Human Resources - 1 hour overtime is Rs.100.
If 10 hours worked in Project, 8 hours * 30 = Rs.240 charged to a project.
But 2 hours overtime = 2  hours * 100 = Rs.200 should be charged to the Project and also should be paid as overtime.
Please update on the same.

By "charger," do you mean a USB power adapter that plugs into the wall outlet (used to "charge" the iPod), or are you asking about the USB docking cable that connect the iPod to the computer?

The colour of your iPhone is insignificant. Can you explain what you mean by "my Apple iphone 4 died it been and hour already been charged it all night", which makes no sense at all? If English is not your native language, you are free to post in your own language.

  • Can anyone explain erratic power charging?

I have a 13" 2009 MBP.  The charging is very erratic. When it is plugged in, it can say that it is charging even though the percentage is dropping.  It can be plugged in all night and not charge at all while the color on the LED light is orange.  It can say that it is 100% one moment and then the next it will be 45%.  (Once it drops down like that it won't shoot back up, though it may stay level and then suddenly drop down.)  I have followed instructions for cleaning the contacts and it didn't help.  I bought a new charger and it first it appeared to help some but after a few weeks went back to its erratic behavior.  I reset the SMC.  Nothing helps.  You have to watch the battery indicator like a hawk and fiddle with the MagSafe connection several times to get it to start charging correctly again whenver the numbers are going down even though it is plugged in.  What perplexes me most is that it thinks it is charging when it clearly is not. Only by watching the percentage can you tell if it is really charging.  I've decided to sell it because I am tired of fighting with it but would like to at least give the buyer some clue as to what might be going on.  My local Apple certified repair shop wants a minimum of $129 plus any parts to fix it and I am just not sure it is worth it, especially if it ends up being the logic board.  Would be nice if I could figure this out before it goes out the door.

One more note.  The battery has 444 cycles on it.  (Supposed to be good for 1000.)  It will run a couple hours or more on the battery without any problem, if you can get it up to a full charge.  You can be watching a movie and not moving at all and the percentage will slowly increase, as it should, and then suddenly start dropping even though it is still plugged in and the LED light is orange.

Can you use the same charging cable for both an iPhone and an IPad or are they different?  When I use the charging cable for my iPhone on my Ipad, it doesn't charge.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night. • Can I use higher watt charger for my ipad?

My ipad came with 10w charger. the ipad takes 4 hours for 100% charge. Can I use higher watt charger to charge my ipad. Will it void the warranty?
and I can i use my ipad while charging?

    Hi Gyanam,
A higher watt charger will not charge your iPad any faster, but it will also not harm it in any way. So, yes, you can use a higher watt charger. And yes, you can use your device while it is charging.

  • Need to get the overtime hours worked for Report

    Dear Experts,
We have configured Overtime for client and it is working fine.
But for custom report development we need to get the overtime hours worked.
We have searched in B2 cluster and not able to identify exact overtime table.
    Request your suggestionsu2026u2026..

    Hi,
after time elavualtion use t code PT66,  in this t.code double click on the each month(period) then you can get the internal table like ZES, SALDO, ZKO. again double click on the each internal table, you can get the information through the time types.  Like , now you want the overtime hours, 0903, 0904 with this time types you can get the each employee no. of. overtime hours.
ZL, ZES, SALDO, TIP entries are internal table , you could not get any results from this table with using se11, se16.
With PT_BAL00 with this report also we can get the overtime hours with the help of time events.
    Good luck

  • URGENT QUESTION concerning Pavilion DV6 laptop charger

    Hey I have a question: I have two HP laptops; one is the Pavilion dv6 and has a charger with the series number PPP009L-E, with input 1.6A and 65W;
The other laptop is the Pavilion dv6-3236NR, with the charger having the series number PPP009D, with input 1.7A and 65W.
My question is, can I use the second charger for the first charger's laptop? My first Pavilion dv6 won't charge at all! Could someone PLEASE help me ASAP and tell me if it's the charger's problem, battery problem, or both, and whether I could use the second charger on the laptop!

    Hi Sekhar,
Well the error code would certainly indicate that the drive has started to fail, but just in case, you could try wiping the entire Hard Drive first and then reinstalling the Operating System as described below.
Download and install Killdisk on the link below - ( this application will write zeros to the entire drive ).
    http://software.lsoft.net/KillDiskSuiteFree-Setup.exe
Download and install ImgBurn on the link below.
    http://download.cnet.com/ImgBurn/3000-2646_4-10847481.html
Go to the Kill Disk application you have installed in All Programs, open the main folder, then select Bootable Disk creators and from that select Bootable DOS CD Creator which will burn the bootable ISO to a blank CD.
During the next process do not worry about any warnings as your Windows 7 installation disc will reformat the HDD.
Insert this CD in to your PC that is unable to load Operating System properly. Shut the notebook down, then start it again to boot from the Killdisk CD and follow the on screen instructions for Kill Disk.
A brief description of the process is here Killdisk.
Use this to wipe the whole of the Hard Drive, highlight (80h) and press f10 ( you will also have to type a confirmation and hit enter ) - ( this will make sure you include all partitions and then start the process - this may take a couple of hours! ).
When the process is complete, remove the Killdisk CD and try installing Windows 7 again.
If it still fails, I think your only option is to replace the HDD.
    Regards,
    DP-K

  • Exclude Holiday hours from overtime hours and add into regular hours

In our current scenario any holiday hours are included in Overtime hours. We want to exclude these holiday hours from overtime hours
    Two examples:
In one week an employee works 35 regular hours, with 8 holiday hours, for a total of 43 hours. Currently, the employee would get 40 hours of straight time, with 3 hours of OT. The change required is that it should have 43 hours of straight time, with no OT.
Another example - In one week an employee submits 42 hours of time, with 8 holiday hours for a total of 50 hours. Currently, the employee would get 40 hours of straight time, with 10 hours of OT. With the change, the employee would receive 48 hours of straight time, with 2 hours of OT.
In summary any holiday hours should be included into regular hours not in Overtime hours.
Which setup changes are required to achive this functionalty?

You can exclude the holiday hours from the OT calculation by excluding it from the earning group setup.

  • COMPUTING MONTHLY OVERTIME HOURS

    Hi guys!
I need your help in finding the right code to compute monthly overtime man-hours. I have developed to code below but the output under: (sum(a.workhrs)-(b.dailyhours)*30) gives -ve figures! What can i do to get +ve figures?
    select
    a.attendancedate,
    a.employee_number,
    b.timefrom,
    min(a.timeloggedin),
    max(a.timeloggedout),
    b.timeto ,
    sum(a.workhrs),
    (sum(a.workhrs)-(b.dailyhours)*30),
    sign(sum(a.workhrs)-(b.dailyhours)*30),
    b.public_normal,
    b.shiftcode,
    b.daychange
    from
    attendance a, mt_shiftdetail b, bio_employee c, employee d
    where
    rtrim(to_char(a.attendancedate,'DAY')) = rtrim(b.weekday)
    and rtrim(ltrim(a.employee_number)) = rtrim(ltrim(c.employee_number))
    and a.shiftcode = b.shiftcode
    and c.employee_number = d.employee_number
    group by
    a.attendancedate,a.employee_number,b.dailyhours,b.breakhours,b.public_normal,b.shiftcode,b.timefrom,b.timeto,b.daychange;
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Thanks for your input,
however, its the other way round: dailyhours represents the std scheduled hours/day (9) while workhrs represents the total hours worked in a day inclusive of overtime.
What am looking for is a way to collect the daily difference and sum it up at the end of the month.
2ndly i need to find a way of getting overtime hours on a week-day and that on a week-end+holidays separately then sum them up at month-end. The reason is, the rate of payment for overtime on a week-day is 1.5 while overtime on a week-end+holiday is 2.0
    please assist!

  • Upload Overtime hours alongwith diffrent cost centre

    Hi,
This is my first question to you guys and I hope that you will not disappoint me. I am working for the UK client, so on monthly basis I received a file which includes the employees pay number, hours, Overtime claimed date and cost centre different with the default cost centre of the employees. So I used to put all the entries manually one by one in IT 0015 or 2010 because I am unable to do the bulk file upload as the Cost centre is diffrent. I know that we can upload the hrs through "zchrnew" but dont know how to upload them with the cost centre.
Could you please let me know if there is any way to upload the Overtime hours in SAP with the Cost Centre.
    Thanks
    Naveen

    Hi Sikinder,
Thanks for the reply. But with the CTRL+F2 we can change the cost centre for only one entry and my concern is regarding Bulk Upload for Overtime. Do you have any idea how we can upload (more than one entry in one go) the cost centre alongwith the overtime hours? What I wanted to upload in SAP is Employee ID, OT Start Date, Wage Type, OT hrs and cost centres. Please let me know if you have any suggestions as how we can upload the same in SAP and under which TCODE.
    Thanks
