URGENT: Database Difficulties

Hi there
No too long ago I purchased Dreamweaver 8 and I am currently
designing a website for an organisation but I am having diffculties
setting up the Access Database..I have no problem with connecting
Dreamweaver 8 to the database. So in order to get a solution to my
difficulties I have been doing alot of tutorials that I got from
online, but for some reason after I have done everything the
tutorials asked of me and its time to preview the live data..a pop
up message appears saying the Page cannot be displayed. Is this a
glitch within Dreamweaver 8 itself? And if so will the updates be
able to fix this problems? What I would really like to do is store
news etc...in a database and then have the database shown on the
website as a news archive. Can anyone please help me with this?
Kind Regards
Heinrich

Let's start at the top. What is your Operating System? What
do you see
when you point your browser at ''

    You are having problems on disks E\ and F\ - possibly hardware problems.
    (Hopefully these disks are not network drives. If they are, your problem might be network contention. Network mounted drives are never a good idea for databases.)
    If this is truly urgent, then I encourage you to use your Oracle Support contract to open a service request for assistance.

    database schema simply by doing some funky queries
    from Java?As k the DB guys for the ER diagrams and if they still ask you get the dump ask for acces to some oracle tools like Enterprise Manager Console where you culd figure out the structure your self.

    Hi,
    I have a webservice and in the same server(weblogic 9.2) a data source(cgAppSource) is configured. the database control is not instanciating properly, it is always remains null despite the calling of webservice. I am getting NullPointerException in the webservice. First time I am using annotation to execute a SQL query. It is urgent.can anyone please help me. what code change I have to do in both the files.

    Hi james,
    In that link it says to 'Create a Beehive-enabled Server Domain' in which On the second page(named <strong>Select Domain Source</strong>), I need to place a check in the <strong>Apache Beehive</strong> checkbox . But in my machine when I follow the steps I dont find any such checkbox in the (named <strong>Select Domain Source</strong>) page. Is this the problem? I can see only two check boxes. The page looks like......
    Generate a domain configured automatically to support the following product. // radio select
    Weblogic Server (Required) //check box
    Workshop for Weblogic Platform // check box
    Base this domain on an existing domain. //radio select
    Templatelocation .... // a browse option
    Do I need to do some other configuration to make beehive check box active in the page? All the beehive jars are present in the instalation. And as far as I remember I did the full instalation of Weblogic 9.2 after downloading from the bea site. and I am giving the beehive related jar
    <p>
    beehive-controls.jar,beehive-jdbc-control.jar,weblogic-jdbc-control.jar in the lib folder wnder WEB-INF and deploying.
    </p>

    update.setTimestamp(2,dateSent);
    update.setInt(3,contact);
    update.setString(4,location);
    update.setTimestamp(5,dateProcessed);
    update.executeUpdate();

    Hi,
    First of all the SQL query it self is wrong.
    You have given
    "UPDATE OutgoingQueue SET statusEmulator = ? and dateOut = ? WHERE receiverContact = ? and receiverLocation='?' and dateProcessed= ?");
    For Update query you need to give the values camma seperated and not to use "and".
    "UPDATE OutgoingQueue SET statusEmulator = ?,dateOut = ? WHERE receiverContact = ? and receiverLocation='?' and dateProcessed= ?"
    Simillarly before executing the query from java try to executed the same query with values from Oracle.

  • Saving images on my database and calling the open file dialog

    i want to be able to save image in my database or alternatively save them on a file system. meanwhile i want to allow them choose the name of the image in the folder by using the win_api_dialog.open_file. My platform is win2000. do i need to add any other thing to this like a particular library or just anything. please i need this help urgently.database os is unix ware.

    Hello,
    You can do this without using library. Suppose you have a table with BLOB data type column and one form which has image box to display and store image boxes.
    Now by using READ_IMAGE_FILE read picture file. To write picture to file use WRITE_IMAGE_FILE. and
    if you want to give users open file dialogue box then use GET_FILE_NAME builtin.
    All the best.

  • Large and Many Replication Manager Database Log Files

    Hi All,
    I've recently added replication manager support to our database systems. After enabling the replication manager I end up with many log.* files of many gigabytes a piece on the master. This makes backing up the database difficult. Is there a way to purge the log files more often?
    It also seems that the replication slave never finishes syncronizing with the master.
    Thank you,
    Rob

    So, I setup a debug env on test machines, with a snapshot of the db. We now set rep_set_limit to 5mb.
    Now its failing to sync, so I recompiled with --enable-diagnostic and enabled DB_VERB_REPLICATION.
    On the master we see this:

  • V1 and V2 Update Modules

    Hi All
    what are <b>v1 update modules</b> and <b>v2update modules</b> in SM13??
    urgent..
    reward for sure...
    regards
    dinesh

    Hi,
    Check this http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e5/de86f035cd11d3acb00000e83539c3/content.htm
    The SAP update concept has two priorites for function modules which run in the update task: Start immediately (V1 function modules) and Start delayed (V2 function modules). If all V1 function modules have been successfully processed, the update program deletes all ENQUEUE locks specified by the transaction. This means that the V2 function modules cannot rely on the locks set.
    CALL FUNCTION function IN UPDATE TASK
    With this statement, the function module function is registered so that it can be executed by an update process on encountering the next ABAP/4 command COMMIT WORK. In this case (i.e. asynchronous processing), the dialog process does not wait until the function module has been executed. However, with COMMIT WORK AND WAIT (i.e. synchronous processing), the processing does not continue until the function module has finished. All function modules specified as "Update with immediate start" or "Immediate start, no restart" (in short V1) are executed together in one LUW. All function modules specified as "Update with delayed start (in short V2 are executed in a separate LUW. The type V2 is mainly used for less urgent database updates (e.g. of a statistical nature).

  • WHEN MIGRATING SQLSERVER REPOSITORY TO ORACLE MODEL USING OraMigWrkBnch

    I have captured the the SQLServer database to the omwb repository and migrated it to the Oracle Model. Some of the views,

    Has somebody done this before and got the same messages?, does someone know how to solve this problem(s)?, is there a

    after the restart, when I am again accessing the putty and connected to the oracle11g server and from sysdba login, given the "STARTUP OPEN" command, then it is showing the error...

  • URGENT: Java stored procedure on oracle 92 database is not working

    Hi,
    I am having an issue regarding java stored procedures. I have created a java class that uses the bouncycastleprovider ( bcprov-jdk13-141.jar ) to encrypt strings. I tested against the version of the java virtual machine that comes bundled with oracle and it works perfectly. I then used JDeveloper to load the class on the database with the resolve, noverify and order flags checked and it shows no errors but when I try to execute the stored procedure it throws the following exception:
    java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError:
    java.lang.SecurityException: Cannot set up certs for trusted CAs: java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: US_export_policy.jar
    at javax.crypto.SunJCE_b.<clinit>(DashoA6275)
    at javax.crypto.Cipher.a(DashoA6275)
    at javax.crypto.Cipher.getInstance(DashoA6275)
    at RijndaelEnhanced.encrypt(RijndaelEnhanced.java:57)
    at RijndaelEnhanced.encrypt(RijndaelEnhanced.java:73)
    I loaded jce1_2_2.jar, sunjce_provider.jar, bcprov-jdk13-141.jar. Also replaced the US_export_policy.jar, local_policy.jar with the unrestrictive version. I add the security provider dinamically with a call to Security.insertProviderAt(new org.bouncycastle.jce.provider.BouncyCastleProvider(), 2);
    I also did a select on the user_objects table and all the classes are in VALID status.
    When I run my application using the java virtual machine that is located under C:\Oracle\oracli9i\jdk\jre\bin directory it works fine but when I try to execute on the database it won't work. I found a bug that was if the jce1_2_1.jar file existed in the C:\Oracle\oracli9i\jdk\jre\lib\ext directory ( even if it's extension is renamed ) it won't work because the certification file had expired but I don't know if this has anything to do with this error.
    Am I missing something?
    Please I need an urgent solution to this problem.
    Thanks in advance.

  • !! Urgent Help Needed in Database Table Recovery !!

    Hi,
    What happened is I add a new field to the table. It's a field which need reference but I didn't include it and proceed with table adjustment in under SE11->Utilities->Database Adjustment. I encountered an error during adjustment saying that the reference field is not set and I can't proceed further since the table is now locked. There's 2 options, to continue adjustment and to unlock the table. When I choose continue adjustment, it still lead to the same problem, so i choose to unlocked it thinking that I could be able to change it since there's a prompt saying that I might loose some data. Once I clicked on onlocked, then I it tells me that the adjustment is done. However, I found out that now my table was not editable. It's saying that it's not in the database.
    Can this table be recovered without the lost of data? Please anyone, I need this help urgently. THanks you in advance.

    Your DBAs might be able to help you.

    Simplest way is to use Target Disk mode:

    You could also pull the drive out of your MBP and use an external USB case or SATA - USB dongle to hook it to another Mac.
