Urgent: download error from webstart

Hi, Gurus:
When webstart download some big jar files from server to client side, most of time, we got download error and got to re-connect server to download the rest of that jar file.
So is it possible to saperate the big jar files into small pieces when download with java web start? Or any good idea to speed up the download with java web start?

Bioshock download error from mac app store

I purchased bioshock on the mac app store on my macbook air 13 inch 2013 model, and the download got interrupted because my macbook put itself to sleep while i was gone, now it wont let me complete the download, when i press install, it just says error bioshock failed to download, anyone help?

Urgent : Download file from Application Server via Process Chain.

Hi Experts,
My requirement is to download the file from Application Server to local work station using an ABAP Program .
I want including the above ABAP program in a process chain to execute the program daily,
I tried to use ARCHIVFILE_SERVER_TO_CLIENT and GUI_DOWNLOAD but unfortunately both the above FM doesn't support to run through Process chain.
Can any one of you help me to send the code which selects a file from application server, downloads to local system and deletes it.

Regarding your case ..
I suggest you to create the program where it run this function: WS_DOWNLOAD.
After it, the program is run by your process chain.

Excel 2007 Download Error from SQL Server 2012

We are running SQL Server 2012, downloading SSRS reports into Excel 2007.
The report renders to the monitor just fine.
Most downloads are fine but we get an error with the largest downloads (common denominator) but can be hit or miss. Usually a second try it will download. Today we tried numerous times and kept getting the error.
I saw a link to a service pack fix ...https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd255234(v=sql.110).aspx which somewhat fits my issue.
The Report Server Log (O:\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\LogFiles\ReportServerService__04_01_2015.log) gives the following error message:

I've been trying to update to Montain Lion (10.8.2) Aperture Update 3.4.2, iPhoto 9.4.2, Safary 6.0.2 via the Mac App Store since it's release. Unfortunately after trying download the bundle, I keep receiving the following error:
(NSURLErrorDomain, erro -3001.)(102). The operation couldn’t be completed.
Could anyone give a fix?

TS1424 Download error from iTunes

I song I just downloaded plays halfway through then stops and goes to the next song. If I try to play the second part of the song it is not there and just goes to the next song.

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

I have been having problems downloading games/apps from the marketplace. it gives me an orange ! and says it cannot download at this time. the other phones in my family plan can download games/apps, just not me.

I have heard some stuff about people having problems recently with the market. This may be due to the recent changes they have made (the market web page has gone live and enabled installing apps from the internet). You may be able to fix this, though. From your homescreen, press menu>settings>applications>manage applications. Make sure you are viewing all apps. The tab for this, on my phone, is at the top of the screen. Then, scan down to market, select force stop (or close, something like that), select clear cache (if highlighted), then select clear data. Then power down your phone, turn it back on (you can also do a battery pull at this time, though I don't think it will be necessary), and open the market app. You will have to accept the terms of agreement and possibly re-enter your gmail password, but you can try and download an app. Also, double check your data connection, sounds dumb, but sometimes we do stupid things.

I have purchased the "download" version of Creative Suite Master Collection Student Teacher Edition. I have paid for it and sent in my Teacher/Student documents. They were approved. Now I navigate to a page that has buttons for downloading it - its about a 7gb download. My IT guy tried downloading it last night but the download did not complete. He tried a second time and the download came to 100% but again the file did not work. I have contacted him to provide more details for you. T

I am not sure I got you question, still...
It is not the middleware which throws the error, it the backend which does that. The backend validates the data, if correct it updates the backend tables, else raises a error which is logged by the middleware.
The error check is done against the validation rules set in the backend. Middleware does not have any mechanism to explicitly sent it back to the client.
Simply, I don't it possible to catch the error in the client, unless you set the same validation rules as you have in the backend.
Some client -errors are updated in the trace file on the client device.

A tip which can help your users - As long the id is not generated for the records, eg OrderId for an order, they can assume, some thing his definitely wrong with the data.
A tip for application developers - An application developer must take care that the user must be provided with possible inputs wherever chekcs are done in the backend.

Download error for jdk 1.4

when the download reach 32.2 mb the downloading was discontinued because of downloading error from download site. I tried it the 2nd time same problem.

Well I have Win2000. I am trying to download the JDK 1.4 API, but it gets to about 85% and then thinks its done. The file size is only 30MB, not 37MB. I have Zone Alarm running and will disable it and try again, but I have succesfully downloaded other JDKs with it running and they downloaded fine. I also tried to use Netzip, so if the download failed, I could resume rather than start all over again. Netzip connects and downloads nothing and immediatley comes back and says download was successful. Net zip worked with other JDK downloads , but the 1.4 seems to be giving it a headache.
Anyone else still not having luck. I have tried 3 times. I'll try without zone alarm running and see if that helps.

Bad MIME type returned from server..A server should return a content type of..
application/x-java-jnlp-file for JNLP
files.
Tomcat probably does that by default, but
other servers might need to be told about it.

ERROR MESSAGE: "Photoshop is a desktop app so you'll want to download it from your computer."

I just sigend up for Adobe Creative Cloud and I'm trying to install Photo Shop onto my desktop computer. When I click the download button I receive an error message saying "Photoshop is a desktop app so you'll want to download it from your computer." I cannot move forward with the download. Any advice on how to troubleshoot this problem?

In my case it's Illustrator and I'm trying to reinstall it. Clearing the cache and using another browser were no help. When I use IE instead of Chrome, an authentication dialog opens to ask permission for CC Desktop to launch, but when I "Allow" it, all that happens is that the CC app opens and gives no indication of a dowload or installation taking place.
I've always been a strong advocate of CC and was one of the earliest adopters (May 2012), but this is the end of the love affair. I need this fixed immediately. I have work to do. If I had a set-up file sitting on my computer or a disk, I would have no problem right now.
