Urgent! EP7 does not talk to its local SLD
We have configured EP7's Visual Admin SLD data supplier and the data transfer
is successful. However we have some strange situations:
1) even the local SLD is stopped, "check SLD connection" at webdynpro is still a
"success";
2) when the local SLD is running, "create Jco connection" and "main Jco
connection" will give 500 internal error.
We suspect that this EP7 is pointing to other SLD. But on the "SLD data
supplier" in Visual Admin. we make sure it is pointing to the local host.
Please share you experience. I'll give points.
Hi,
Check the logs in defaultTrace.trc in \usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log and dev_jrfc.trc in \usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0 (Please verify the path). Also check the last part in this document for different trace file locations for JCO problems.

JSP error page does not displayed on its own, includes in the original JSP
Problem Description: - Exceptions in a Condition cause pages to fail to render.
The actual issue is, the JSP error page does not displayed on its own, included in the original JSP Page when exception occurs.
Problem Cause: As per the JSP specification when jsp content reached the buffer size (default 8KB) the page being flushed (Part of condent displays). The default autoFlush value is true.
When the page buffer value is default size (8KB), and if any exception occurs after flushing the part of the content, instead of redirecting into error page, the error page content included in the original page.
If i specify autoFlush="false" and with default buffer size, at the runtime if the buffer size is reached, i am getting stackoverflow error.
To solve the above problem we can make it autoFlush=false and buffer=100KB. But we cant predict the actual size of the page.
I found in one of the weblogic forum as no solution for this issue. Ref.
http://support.bea.com/application?namespace=askbea&origin=ask_bea_answer.jsp&event=link.view_answer_page_clfydoc&answerpage=solution&page=wls/S-10309.htm
Please provide me any solution to resolve the problem.Error-Page tags work best with an error.html pages. If you have an error.jsp page what I would do, and I have, is wrap my classes and jsp pages in a try catch block where you forward to the error jsp page and display anything you want. YOu can also do this with if else statements. I have used the tomcat error pages before but when I've implemented them I used java.lang.Exception as the error to catch not Throwable. I don't know if this would make a difference or have anything to do with your problem.

when ever i click a picture in photo booth it does not automatically update its content is this a bug or i don't know how to do it?
whenever you click a picture in photobooth you have to manually insert it one by one in iphoto
i want to know is there any other option in iphoto which can do this type of thing(adding pictures automatically to iphoto )
so that i do not have to do it manuallyOnce you take the photo with Photo Booth, select the photo in the tray at the bottom and click on the iPhoto button just abouve and to the left:
That will import the photo into iPhoto automatically. But PB does not import any and all photo taken into iPhoto automatically. That choice is left to the user.

I have a problem with the error "LANG_LIST has some locales which does not match with the locale of serial number" recurring.
I am trying to install Acrobat XI Std silently by SCCM.
I've used the Adobe Customisation Wizard to create a mst which include the volume serial number we have with our licence purchases. Note that I am in Australia. I use the command line in SCCM for the install as "msiexec /i "AcroStan.msi" TRANSFORMS="D&B_AcroStd.mst" /qn" which fails silently. If I install on a local machine using an admin command prompt and changing to /qb at the end, I get the aforementioned error.
I have a few things to try and resolve, having searched the adobe forums and other forums for the solution. The mst is only trying to install US English & I have even gone so far as to use the direct editor in the customisation wizard and change some values in the property table to resolve this. In the property table I can confirm that LANG_SEL_DEFAULT = ENU, REGIONAL_LIST = ENU, LANG_LIST = en_US, ProductLanguage = 1033
Is there a way to check the language specified for ym serial number?
BryndonUpdate on a couple of details:
@Sabian,
Thanks for the location, I've downloaded and then when I tried an install of the newly extracted msi (admittedly on the same computer) I got exactly the same issue. Of note though is that running /qf automatically brought up the same serial number and the same incorrectly spelled company name. Installing on another computer (freshly imaged) doesn't have those inputs already present under /qf. Next when I try using the transfrom (a new one) with /qr it gives an error of the serial number, displaying the entire serial.
@Sebastian
I've had a look through yours and it seems our issues could have the same origin. Looks like I may have to call customer support regarding the serial number as Sabian suggested in your thread.
The bit that gets me is when the same serial number is used in a manual install (or /qf) then it installs ok without any errors. -
I ran the Adobe Customization Wizard XI to create a transform file and now when run setup.exe it always come with the error "LANG_LIST has some locales which does not match with the locale of serial number".
It does the same thing when using msi with the command : msiexec /i AcroPro.msi TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst /qb!

I don't know what goes wrong as took my serial number on my profile from the adobe web site, same thing for the download of the software.
Does it means that the serial number provided was invalid for deploying ?
NB.: My goal is to deploy our Acrobat XI through SCCM in silent mode and I don't know if there is extra consideration for that. For now it's only not working at the command line.
Another important point is that the install works great without customization ! If I just run the setup.exe from freshly extracted files and I use my serial number, everything is working fine.
So what goes wrong ?Thanks for the reply brogers_1 and Vinod Dbhal, you gave good hint.
I retried installing the initial package in French on a Windows 7 English and the software installed properly in French.
As I used to work with virtuals for those tests, I rolled back my virtual and redo my test installation with chosing to install it in English on my Windows 7 English and again the installation finished properly but I was surprised when I realized that even if I chose English as language, the software was running in French !
Of course I can change the language settings (in the edit-preferences-language) to follow the operating system witch is nice.
That gave me the cue I needed to know. I started from scratch my customization with choosing only the French language in the "Application Languages" and I left the MUI Languages blank and saved the .mst
I ran again the same command : msiexec /i AcroPro.msi TRANSFORMS=AcroPro.mst /qb!
And everything works fine.
NB.: As I used the .msi directly, of course I had to install the prerequirement Visual C++ 2010 first. Otherwise the installation failed without any error message.
Thanks again to you for your good hint,

I have a song that skips on my main mac because its a downloaded copy. But on my other devices(iPad, Apple TV) it does not skip because its in the cloud. How do I put a downloaded song back into the cloud?
Delete the track from the iTunes library, but not from the cloud.

My contact list does not update to its current state after I sync it to itunes or back it up to icloud I did a documents and data reset and the contact list still didnt change.. How do I fix this?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing. -
AGate.exe does not return memory + ITS Upgrade
Hello~
I'm using SAP 40B(too old!) and ITS 6100. 1021. 53. 153 (too old, too!!!!!).
However, AGate.exe process does not return used memory.
So when process reached memory limitation (about 1GB), Then I must restart ITS Manager.
Question 1> Is this a matter of session closing? My configurations are like below..
+ Performance
- MaxSessions : 6144
- MaxWorkThreads : 60
- MinWorkThreads : 8
- TimeoutPercentage : 75
+ Global Services > All Settings
- ~usertimeout : 24
- ~timeout : 20
Quyestion 2> Can I upgrade ITS version on SAP 40B? IF that is possible, which is the lastest version can?Hello,
I do agree, ITS 6.10 is much too old, right Nobody is able to
support ITS 6.10 anymore, even if we would be willing to do so.
I would suggest to upgrade to ITS 6.20 which can of course be used
to connect to your 4.0B system.
ITS 6.20 should be run on a 64bit platform where you can forget such
memory limitations, though I recommend to find out why the ITS-Agate
uses such a huge memory amount.

CALL DOES NOT ROUTE OUT THE LOCAL GATEWAY
Local calls will not route out the local Gateway of branch1 to the PSTN or from the PSTN back to branch1, however they will route out either CorpHQ or branch2 backup gateways. When I go into the route group configuration for branch1, and remove the backup gateways, I get a fast busy tone when I dial the local number. I know the MGCP Gateway at branch1 is functioning because when I dial 911 and run debug ISDN Q931, the call routes properly through branch1, so I have a call routing problem. I ran DNA and it came back as ROUTE THIS PATTERN and all of the number translations looked accurate, so I didn't have to check for any block patterns. I'm not getting any errors on the calling party phone display. When I deleted the route pattern for the branch1 site and forced it to use the global route pattern, I received a debug output on branch1. I do not know a debug command (such as debug voip dial-peer or debug ccsip messages) to use for an MGCP Gateway to see if the call is actually reaching the Gateway.
I have checked the following:
the route pattern configuration
the translation pattern configuration
the called party transformation pattern configuration
the route list configuration to make sure the correct route group for branch1 was selected
the route group configuration to make sure that the branch1 Gateway was first in the order of selected devices
the route pattern configuration to make sure the correct route list for branch1 ist selected
the Gateway configuration to make sure it's using the device pool for branch1 and to make sure the called party transformation CSS for the branch1 Gateway is applied
the device pool configuration to make sure it's using the route group branch1
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Regards,
RonHi Nishant:
Please see the attachments for the Gateway pages
The significant digits for inbound calls for all 3 gateways is '4'
Please see the running-configs of the 3 gateways and the PSTN
Please see the debugs for the INBOUND calls
Many Thanks,
Ron
The following INBOUND call from the PSTN to 2065011001 is now working, however it is supposed to be routing through CorpHQ and is instead routing through Branch1. Please see 'DEBUG VOIP CCAPI INOUT' & 'DEBUG ISDN Q931'

Urgent: Barcode does not rotate
Hi,
I've created a sapscript formular with logo and barcode. This works fine. Afterwards I've tried to rotate the barcode because the label printer prints in a different direction. I changed the alignment of my barcode created with the new barcode technology, but it does not rotate. I've tried already rotated barcodes from SAP, but although they seem to rotate in the TA SE73 (test barcode) they don't rotate in my sapscript formular.
Can anybody help me ?
Thanks in advance,
Lisbethin SE73 check the barcode setting

Urgent: executeQueryForCollection does not execute query for collection
Some ViewLink detail views do not refresh when the master RSI navigates.
Instead, it seems that a cached query collection is used.
How can we control this behaviour? Under what circumstances does the rowset re-use an old QueryCollection instead of re-executing the query?
It seems to work for some detail VOs but I cannot find a difference between the working and non-working VLs and VOs.
This is a duplicate of
Question about row-level ViewLink refresh
More information is posted there.
Thanks,
SaschaHi Sung,
thanks for your answer. But I still don't get it.
It's so erratic.
I have a worklist with --- say 10 rows.
Then:
I navigate to every row and then back to the first row.
Now I start an integrated application (with its own transaction and database connection) that produces a new detail row.
I refresh the worklist, navigate back to the row.
Then I go to the next row and repeat the same.
Now, sometimes I can do all the stuff after "Then:" 100 times and it works every time. The detail shows the newly added row.
Sometimes it works just 4 times, then it simply stops working. The newly added rows are not fetched.
So what's the plan? Why does it work sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't?
Why does it work for some ViewLinks and not for others?
Second example: I have a tree binding. The top node has 4 children. Of course, JUTreeBinding uses RL-VLs to build the tree.
Two of those children detail VOs show the problem all the time, the other two NEVER EVER.
What's the plan? Why does it work for some VOs and not for the others?
If this is really by design (I doubt it judging by the flakyness), then that means for us: get rid of ALL ViewLinks and replace them with this listener scheme. Is this really intended? This would be a nightmare. I cannot use VLs and listeners in parallel. How do I know that whether the VL already caused the execution -- this really happens! -- or not?? Is the solution to execute always twice? Where's the reduction in resource consumption then?
What's the point in caching the query collection of 5 hours ago? Data can change in the DB in the meantime, can it?
I tried to produce a test application based on Scott/Tiger but failed, because there, the VLs re-executed the query EVERY SINGLE TIME. No matter what changes I made with TOAD in the tables. Is this a bug then???
And there is no way (setting, property) to control this?
I am sorry, but I cannot believe that this is really intended. The idea is so ... weird.

Verizon does not care about its customers
I have had verizon fios for quite a while now, the service itself is great but... I am a litle tired of the hackers, not sure if they are outside hackes or if this is an inside job....
ovh.net is constanly in my logs
94.23.4.33
94.23.42.81
and after I blocked these address' they moved to canada
192.99.193.56.
I changed the ip on my computer every couple of days or so, but within 15 to 20 min my logs start to fill. I contacted the FCC and complained to my state, I get a call back from the great folks at verizon, but I end up with tech advising me that it is impossitble to hack into my computer, and maybe I have malware and I need to purchase their antivirus. I have found numerous articles about how to hack the verizon router, and a friend of mine has proved that they work. Folks I would suggest if you have the knowledge or a friend that does make a passive internet tap, and sit back and watch the traffic that comes through. After doing this I was no longer stunned when my logs would suddenly reset by themselves. It is best to do the factory reset before downloading the update, because some of the apps that you have downloaded may conflict with the update. If you are having troubles with the new update I suggest you backup your applications, and then complete a factory reset.
The applications that come preinstalled on your device that you mentioned have no affect on your phone or its battery life, unless you have clicked and installed them to your device.

Abs does not create /var/abs/local?
I'm not necessarily a newb at Linux, but I've only had Arch Linux installed for a short while. I really like Arch. and I have had no real issues getting everything set-up.
However, I'd like to get into building packages, so I have read a lot of documentation available here, on the Wiki, and elsewhere.
One issue that seems to be (and has been) a major topic is where to store the "local" files. Many suggest the standard "/var/abs/local" directory, though others suggest storing elsewhere, e.g. in a $HOME directory.
Without getting into a discussion of where to store the files for now, I figured I'd start with the "standard" location first, play around, then change later if it didn't suit my needs well.
However, here are my very basic questions:
- Is "/var/abs/local" still considered the "standard" starting point as running 'abs' for the first time did not create that directory?
- Is running 'abs' supposed to create it?
- If it doesn't create it in the current version, did it ever create the directory in previous versions?
From all the docs and forum topics (HOW TOs and such), it appears (at least through heavy implication and / or omission of facts to the contrary) that running 'abs' for the first time should create the tree including "/var/abs/local".
Just wondering if something went wrong since the directory was not created for me by 'abs', or if I should just create the directory and move on. I suspect the latter will be my course of action, but I'm curious.
Thank you.It is not created automatically... Just create it if needed.
