Urgent: error: user status ECUS is active for equipment.

Gurus,
My material is assigned to only one serial no. and one equipment.
I am trying to do pgi from va02 and the system is throwing an error saying ' user status ecus is active for equip.' but in iq02 when we check the ecus status is not active. infact when we change the user status to anything the error thrown is still the same. Kindly reply urgently as this is affecting the clients production process.

i think once you have delivered the material ,it will create the equipment master record record stating the status as installed at customer site,
the status you have said i think is user status ,if so kindly change the user status and proceed with the above said procedure
revert back with any further queries

With Defect recording, system creates Q Notification based on the Notification type assignment to the
Inspection Type in Config step QM>QN >Defects recording
This assignment is at client level, not advisable to change
There is one more setting at Defect Class level, (You assign Defect class for Defect code while creating catalog Type 9) In defect class if you uncheck "Activate Q-Notification" in the "Next fuctions in results recording section" system will still genrate QN but will not be activated
QM>QP>Basic Data>Catalog>Define Defect class
This Notification will be Automatically closed, while UD
For existing Notifications already created while DR , you can go to QM02
Select the item created, go to Task, create new Task and Mark that task as complete, the status of the notification will change to ATCO , complete the UD after this, it will mark the QN status to NOCO and complete stock posting

Diagnosis
For object ORD 300761 user status Z5 (Technically Complete (IO)) is active. According to this status, transaction 'Budgeting' is not allowed.
Procedure
You can only carry out the requested function if this is allowed according to the status of the object.

It seems like you dont have authorisation to change the status.
Please check with your BASIS person, he may provide you the required authorisation.
As soon as you got the authorisation message, type immidiatly ?NSU53 in transaction code field and ENTER.
You will now get the information regarding roles, which will be helpful to BASIS people for tracking authorisation for you.

Error: User Status OUTS is active

When using IW42 to enter completion comments on a work order, I enter the work order number and green check it. If the work order does not have an underlying notification, I get a 'User status OUTS is active (QNF #1)' error (actually, two identical errors are displayed).
Any ideas?

I got it. My default notification type was set to M2. In my organization an M2 notification is created with an OUTS user status set and the notification must be "approved" (user status set to APPR) before further processing can be done.
M3 notifications have no such user status restrictions to deal with They're created and the user is off and running.
With my default notification type set to M2, IW42 couldn't get past the user status restrictions.
We tell users to set their default notification type to M3. I'm not sure how mine got set to M2.
I appreciate both of your help. You zeroed me in on the real issue.

User status SAGI is active (EQU 10030745)

Hi All,
User has created one Delivery. And when a particular serial number is assigned to the material of the delivery document, we get the below error message in a popup window.
1. User status SAGI is active (EQU 10030745) (Error message)
2. System status ECUS is active (EQU 10030745) (Warning)
3. Serial number 452600 cannot be used here (Error)
when i click on the help icon, it says
Diagnosis
For object EQU 10030745 user status SAGI (Serial no assigned GI) is active. According to this status, transaction 'Delivery note assignment' is not allowed.
Procedure
You can only carry out the requested function if this is allowed according to the status of the object.
How do I need to resolve this issue? Awaiting for your valueble suggestions.

Whenever I create new Internal Order user status shows PLIM and LKD under Control Data of Internal Order master. Go to Set / Reset and uncheck the tick from status LKD and save the record. Why this status become locked i.e, LKD automatically in every internal order creation ? How it can be removed and during creation of new internal order user status will show only "PLIM". What should be the actual status of Status Profile for Internal Order ?

Hi,
Obviously in your system you are using user statuses in production orders.
I don't know this specific "erof" status, since it is particulary defined in your system only.
Via user statuses we can control the processing flow of production orders, in a specific way. In your case this status is defined in such a way that it will not allow settlement.
The simplest way out is to edit the order and manually change this status, if this is not disabled by the same status!

During order settlement following error is appeared

1. go to tcode BS22 (Maintain: System Status)
2. look for the system status CRTD.
3. Double click the field "CRTD".
4. in the transaction control tab look for the business transaction "RMWA" or goods movement (you can type it in the lower left corner buttom box bcoz there will ber many entries , and it will be very difficult to find RMWA).
5. select the radio button from "Forbidden" to "allowed".
6. save your changes

When I go and check the Item or header it is not marked for Deletion. Is there any table or field which indicates that it is marked for Deletion.

The error is likely caused by one or more entries in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB that are without objkey or guid.
did you delete some entries from SRM transaction tables?
Check table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB entries to see any GUID which is not present in the system.
You can verify this by checking whether there is an entry in CRMD_ORDERADM_H (header) table
with GUID = <guid stored in bbp_document_tab>

*Plant Maintenance: Urgent: User status ECUS active.*

Dear Gurus,
One of our customer wanted serial number obligatory in OBD in the repair process.So we made it mandatory in serial number profile.Afterwards he posted some documents.But now he is not able to process those repair orders.He is trying to create OBD and after picking when he tries to post goods issue, system is giving the error as ECUS status is active.And serial number so and so can not be used here.
So again we changed serial number profile from mandatory to optional while doing PGI. still the system is giving the same error.We checked serial number against that material in IQ02. the status is Repaired. So we are not able to understand from where system is picking ecus status. Because the status of the serial number is showing repr not ecus. I am not able to understand where the system is picking ecus status from.
So now his all repair OBD transactions got stucked because of this.Please suggest a solution on highest priority.
He follows the process as given below.
repair order in VA01.
do inbound delivery where he has to put serial number which is mandatory here.
PGR.
after repair,
OBD
PGI.

User status teco is active

When the user try to post an Idoc (Order creation) to SAP it didnt get posted as the error message was "user status tech is still active"
I am completely unaware about this status teco . Can some one explain what does the status teco means and how to rectify the above mentioned error

hmm... i think you used the wrong forum. The order you mentioned, is a production order (tcodes CO01, CO02, CO03) i guess?
So, in general, TECO means "technically completed", i.e. that production order stopped because of some reasons without full completion of the order.

Restriction of user status in service order for billing due list

Dear CRM Experts,
I have configured status profile for service order as OPEN,INPROCESS and Completed and have assigned this to the service order transaction type.
Now once i save a service order without errors ,the system is automatically generating abilling document in billing due list TX:BEA_DL_01 even though the user status assigned to it is OPEN ,INPROCESS AND COMPLETED.
According to our client requirement ,a billing document has to be created in Billing due list if the User status assigned to it is COMPLETED only.
Please suggest the solution.

Hi Nanda,
As per your last reply, for some Service Orders you are unable to change the Status. Can you have check whether those service Orders are error free?
Sometimes, when there are errors in service orders or in 1Orders you cannot change the status from In Process or Open even when you have released certain Items.

User status does not work for campaign automation

We have 5 user status in our campaign. When we select the campaign automation option, the user status appears but when we try to change from a status to another (sample: Open to Planificado) the next error appears:
Diagnosis
System error: An invalid transaction ID was used to check whether or not a business transaction is allowed. Transaction %%%% does not exist.
System Response
You cannot carry out the requested function for object Campaign.
Procedure
Please contact your system administrator.
We include the option release in each user status and everything works fine, however, we require that release status (system estatus) only appears in the latest user status

The error was resolved by applying the following note 1513934 - transaction %%% does not exist

User status 10 is active (ORD 70111521)

Diagnosis
For object ORD 70111521 user status 10 (Opened) is active. According to this status, transaction 'Material purchase order' is not allowed.
Procedure
You can only carry out the requested function if this is allowed according to the status of the object.

Use CO02 Change production order or CO03 Display production order
there are two status One is system status which can be set only by the system internaly after performing certain events.
another one is user status, which is set by the user manually after performing some actions.
User Field comes next to System Status.
for example in production order it comes next to system status bleow order and material number field in
Production Order Display/Create/Change: Header Screen
Configuration of User Status:
Define Status profile - Tcode -- BS02
Define Selection Profile - Tcode - BS42
This is same in Maintenance Order.
