Urgent...Error while running a jsp report in Jdeveloper
Hi,
I am getting following error while running a jsp report from Jdeveloper. I am using version 10.1.2.1.0. The same report is working fine when I am running it from report builder. ( Both these tools were installed using Oracle Developer Suite 10g version 10.1.2). I did search in oracle discussion forums and google, but I could not arrive at a resolution of error. Any help in resolving this issue would be grateful.

Error while running the financial report in the workspace.
Hi,
Im getting the below error while running the financial report in the workspace in HTML mode.
*"Required application module reporting.HRRunDlg is not configured. Please contact your administrator".*
And im not able to login to the Hyperion Financial Reporting as well.. i get the below error
*"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Contact your administrator"*
Can someone let me know how to resolve this error. You don't mention the version, what app server or web server you are using, etc.. That information might be helpful, but in general, you can try the following:
1. Make sure you have gone through the FR Web App deployment steps and verify the settings entered in the Config Tool.
2. For version 11.1.1.x and 9.3.1.x, try opening the report in FR Studio and running it via the FR Studio Print Preview (*bold*not*bold* Web Preview.) If the report runs/processes, then the back-end FR Services are functioning and the issue is confined to the web interface. Verify the FR Web App is up and listening on the designated port (8200, by default), check the FR Web App logs and the App Server (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, OAS) logs for errors/issues.
If the report fails to process in FR Studio Print Preview, then there is a problem with the FR Reporting Server Service. Check to make sure the service is up/functioning and check the FR Report Server logs for errors.
3. Test access to other FR functionality in workspace (ex: Files->Preferences->Financial Reporting or Explore->Tools->Database Connection Manager?) If these don't work, then try to connect to the following URLs:
http://workspaceServer:19000/hr/status.jsp
http://frWebAppServer:8200/hr/status.jsp
Note: The URLs above assume standard/default ports. You may need to adjust them for your environment.
If the first URL fails, but the second URL works, there is a problem with the HTTP redirect settings on the Web Server (Apache, IIS, etc.) Run through the Workspace deployment and make sure the Web Server Config settings point to the right ports/servers. -

<there are other variables available in path, along with that I have added the j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin in path".
So if u have any way out for it please let me know.I think you only need to add: c:\j2sdk1.4.2_01
you have specified jre on the end of your path, it is not the jre that is required, but the jdk.
If you are using startup.bat and shutdown.bat (or .sh on Linux) you can amend the files with a text editor (open the startup.bat in notepad), like so:
@echo off
set JAVA_HOME=c:\j2sdk1.4.2_01
if "%OS%" == "Windows_NT" setlocal
I this will start Tomcat with the correct settings, regardless of your environment settings. -

Proxy error while running the financial report in workspace.
Hi,
We are using the Hyperion financial reporting 9.3.1 with Essbase as a data source.
While running a report in workspace, we are getting the 'Proxy error' meassage, which is following-
"<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
'<html><head>
<title>502 Proxy Error</title>
</head><body>
Proxy Error
<p>The proxy server received an invalid
response from an upstream server.<br />
The proxy server could not handle the request <em><a
href="/hr/modules/com/hyperion/reporting/web/reportViewer/HRRunJob.jsp">GET /hr/modules/com/hyperion/reporting/web/reportViewer/HRRunJob.jsp</a></em>.<p>
Reason: <strong>Error reading from remote server</strong></p></p>
</body></html>"
Do anybody have any idea on this? Any help will be appriciated on this.
Thanks & Regards,
Mohit JainHi Iain,
We are using Microsoft Internet explorer 6.0. I am not sure about the 'proxy' (As we don't have any proxy setting in Tool--> Internet options--> connection--> LAN setting). We are accessing the Workspace and FR studio via Citrix application. How can I check the proxy.
Also, I noticed one more point, Report has prompt for seleting 'Account hierarchy'.If we run the report only for one account hierarchy, report is returning the data but while running for multiple account hierarchy, it is throwing the 'Proxy error' as memtioned above.
Please help us on this.
Thank & Regards,

Error while running a custom report in OIM
Hi All,
I have created a new custom report for OIM and written a stored procedure for that. But while running the report from Admin console, its throws the below error:
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00911: invalid character
ORA-06512: at "IDM.XL_EXCEPTION", line 149
ORA-06512: at line 1
ERROR,19 Jun 2011 22:09:31,665,[XELLERATE.WEBAPP],Class/Method: ReportAction/displayTabularReport encounter some problems: Error executing stored procedure
Thor.API.Exceptions.tcAPIException: Error executing stored procedure
Line 149 : DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('select stmt ='|| select_stmt);
"select_stmt" is a select query based on the OIM tables.
Please advice.Seems like there is a invalid character in your SQL (Report's store procedure). Could you share with me whole content of this "select_stmt" variable?

I have continued ignoring the message.
i need solution for this above messages?
If someone already experienced can given me approximate time and other details would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Sanjeev Varma.SThank You for quick responses,
But fortunately, nothing happened as said.
All the objects in the database are in compiled state, except 9 objects.
As i said earlier even after ignoring and going forth i haven't faced any issues as of now and the application is running fine.
i couldn't figure it out, i think error reported only for the 9 invalid objects.

Error While Run the WebI Report on SAP BW Query
Hi
I have build the universe on SAP BW Query . I built the same universe on the SAP BW DEV and SAP BW Test
When I tried to run the WEBI Report on the Universe which is built on the SAP BW Test
WebI Report is prompting for the below values
Calendar Year
Profit Center
Profit Center Hierarchy
Version.
Here I can see the List of values for the Calendar Year and Profit Center. Its giving me below error when I look for list of values for the Profit Center and Profit Center Hierarchy.
u2018Database error: [SOFA Driver] : The operation completed successfully.. Contact your Business Objects administrator or database supplier for more information. (Error: WIS 10901)u2019
My Questions:
1. Why I am getting this error. Because of authentication or configurations set on the Profit Center and Profit Center Hierarchy objects? If so , please let me know what I need to set?
When I tried to run the same WEBI Report on universe which build on SAP BW Dev Query. I can see list of values for the Calendar Year, Version, Profit Center, Profit Center Hierarchy.
But when I selected the values and tried to run the report. I got below error.
u2018Query 1 - P&L Structure Monthly_Devtst
Database error: [SOFA Driver] : The MDX query SELECT NON EMPTY HIERARCHIZE( {[Measures].[4CEX5LZ5571LCZHJBK0L0360P],[Measures].[4CEX5MM6Q2UPWV3VT27LU9261]} ) DIMENSION PROPERTIES PARENT_UNIQUE_NAME ON COLUMNS , NON EMPTY HIERARCHIZE( { [0CALMONTH].[LEVEL00].MEMBERS } ) DIMENSION PROPERTIES PARENT_UNIQUE_NAME ON ROWS FROM [ZFIGLPCBM/ZZFIGLPCBM04_Q011] SAP VARIABLES [!V000001] INCLUDING =[0PROFIT_CTR 1000HCICONS08] [!V000002] INCLUDING =2 [!V000003] INCLUDING =2008 [!V000004] INCLUDING =000 failed to execute with the error Value "0000000002" for variable "Profit Center" is invalid. Contact your Business Objects administrator or database supplier for more information. (Error: WIS 10901)u2019
My Questions :
1. What is this error? Please suggest the solution to run the report successfully.
Also I am attaching Print Screens of DEV and Test reports Prompts and Errors.
Here I am using Business Objects XI R2 SP4
I am sorry if I confused you with elaborated explanation, I have very less knowledge of BO and SAP BW ..
Please help me with your valuable suggestions.
Thanks,
AnithaHi Ingo,
- the BI Query in the Test system is running correct and all the variables do work ?
Yes, BI Query is working fine in the Test System and I can see all the variables too
In BI Query I can see values for Calendar Year, Version, Profit Center, Profit Center Hierarchy
- the Universe has all the variables ?
Yes, Universe has all the variables.
- do you see values in the Web Intelligence prompts when you run the report ?
No,
I can only see values for the Calendar Year & Version in the Web Intelligence Prompt.
When I try to see values for the Profit Center & Profit Center Hierarchy in the Web Intelligence Prompt, its showing below error.
u2018Database error: [SOFA Driver] : The operation completed successfully.. Contact your Business Objects administrator or database supplier for more information. (Error: WIS 10901)u2019
I can send you the Print Screens of Prompts & Errors, but i don't know how to attach the file here.
Thanks,
Anitha
