URGENT !!! Export help

I'm using Enterprise manager to export a table. It wnat a node preferred credential! I have tried all the user ids(sys, system,databse id)and nothing works. What is it looking for and where do I find it.
I am desperate.....

I've never used enterprise manager but I went to the url http://otn.oracle.com/docs/products/oem/pdf/oemer.pdf which is the OEM error manual and if you search on "node preferred credential" it talks about selecting the preferences option from the system menu and then use the preferred credentials tab of the preferences dialog. I may be miles from the answer, but this seems to indicate that this has to be setup before other things such as export can be performed. Let me know if this helps.

Urgent export help needed

Extremely urgent help needed! I'm on a tight deadline. I'm working on a sequence, with all my settings set to DV. My client needs an AVI file as an output. After exporting using conversion, the file looks and plays fine, except for any transitions. At the start of each transition, there is 1 frame that is unrendered. I have rendered the entire sequence, and tried the export many times now, and I can't figure out what's wrong. I'm working on v5.1.4. Can someone please help?????

Urgent Exporting Help!

Trying to export a big project, problem seems to be that all of the keyframe animation with photoshop files aren't exporting. Just black space, then where the video comes in it seems to work correctly. Ideas?

I hope that it is only the overly-large stills, causing the issue.
When that article was written, most folk were editing SD Projects, hence the 720 x 480 dimensions. Now, HD is more the norm, and with 2K or 4K material, the sizes will need to go up to match those Project Frame Sizes.
Prior to CS5 (see some input from Todd down-thread in that article), there were two compelling reasons to Scale to approximately the Frame Size: quality of Scaling and also resources to push the extra pixels. With MPE, Adobe was able to do a better job with the Scaling algorithms, than previously, so the admonition on quality, due to Scaling algorithms no longer is true, but the resources to push those pixels is still in effect.
PrPro can handle some pretty large stills, if one just looks at the program. However, there is overhead with each, and the computer will usually give up, before the program will. Add a bunch, and even a stout workstation will likely have an issue. If one does have many large stills, and they do need all the pixels, say for long slow Pans on a Zoomed out image, then AE is a better choice. It will first handle larger stills, and does so in a way that the resources of the computer are not used up so quickly.
As an example, I have one SD Project with 3000+ stills, though most are sized exactly to the Frame Size of 720 x 480. My workstation has no issues with that Project and it edits, Exports and functions very smoothly. On the same workstation, I had a small SD Project with about 6 4000 x 4000 stills (below the max pixel dimensions for PrPro), and it brought the computer to its knees. I just could not edit, with only a few Tracks, and animations on those "photo walls." Took that to AE, and it was smooth as silk. Now, by today's standard, the workstation is passe, but you can see that with two SD Projects, the same computer works fine with all those Scaled images, but choked on only a half-dozen very large ones. I hit the "ceiling" in the second Project. In your case, with your machine and CS5, there is a ceiling, but yours is just much, much higher than mine was.
Good luck, and please let us know how things work out. Like I said, I hope that is all that is happening, and that Scaling will get you well below any ceiling.

I looked in console and its saying that it may be because of Sophos Anti-Virus, i deleted and uninstalled all traces of Sophos but looked in console and this is some of the lines coming up:

I need to solve or I will be in big trouble.
This program works at my home computer which is not networked.

Hi Raj,
Is your Sender System Tibco If so Use JMS Adapter to get the Data from tibco and Use IDOC Adapter to Post in R3. For this you no need to Install any Adapter in XI System.

When I compile this in Flex Builder 3 it says: The element type 'mx:Application' must be terminated by the matching end-tag '</mx:Application>'.
but I have this end tag in my file, but when I try to switch from source view to desgin view it says, that: >/mx:Script> expected to terminate element at line 71, this is right at the end of the .mxml file. I have actionscript(.as) file for scripting data.

I know it's been a while but… did you fix this?
It looks to me like you are terminating the <mx:Application> tag at the top. The opening tag should end like this: resultFormat="e4x">, not resultFormat="e4x"/> (Remove the /).

Encrypting and Decrypting Data(Its Very Urgent, Please Help.)

Hi,
Can anyone tell me some idea in the below mentioned details.
Iam creating a Function for Encrypting and Decrypting Data Values using
DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT with UTL_RAW.CAST_TO_RAW by using
Key Value as normal.
But the problem, is it possible to have the key value more than 8.
Its showing me error when i give the key value less than 8 or more than 8.
Can u tell me why it happens, is that the limit of the key value or is any other way to do that.
Its Very Urgent, Please Help.

Usage Notes
If the input data or key given to the DES3DECRYPT procedure is empty, then the procedure raises the error ORA-28231 "Invalid input to Obfuscation toolkit."
If the input data given to the DES3DECRYPT procedure is not a multiple of 8 bytes, the procedure raises the error ORA-28232 "Invalid input size for Obfuscation toolkit." ORA-28233 is NOT applicable for the DES3DECRYPT function.
If the key length is missing or is less than 8 bytes, then the procedure raises the error ORA-28234 "Key length too short." Note that if larger keys are used, extra bytes are ignored. So a 9-byte key will not generate an exception.

Sec. Edu Cess not Flowing in MIGO - Urgent Pls help

Dear Friends
We have created a IMPORT PO,
Invoice verification is done with all necessary cess and duties which flown.
with the MIRO document and year, when we do MIGO, i am able to see duty, cess but secondary edu.cess is not flowing.
I tried to enter it manually also, but it is not accepting (field is open).
I have checked the settings.
The similar kind of PO, before it had been done, MIRO done, MIGO also done with proper flow of all values. But for this particular PO only problem existing.
Only difference between the two PO is problematic PO is with account assignment category Q.
Pls treat this urgent and help me in solving the same friends.

For Imports, condition type for SECess is <b>J1CV,</b> you have to maintain this condition type in Excise Defaults of CIN Customization.
Note - You cannot use any other condition type for SECess for Imports other than J1CV.

Date format Problem in OAF R12 Urgent Please help!!!

We have acustom application in OAF which was developed in 11i. Now we migrated the same to R12.
In this there are two date fileds getting dispayed on the page and the query for the same is
SELECT TO_CHAR (SYSDATE, 'dd-mm-yyyy') AS CURRENT_DATE, UPPER (TO_CHAR (SYSDATE - 10, 'mon-yy')) AS g_period, UPPER (TO_CHAR (SYSDATE + 5, 'mon-yy')) AS gnext_period, TO_CHAR (sysdate,'dd-mon-yyyy') as today_date, TO_CHAR (sysdate - 1,'dd-mon-yyyy') as yesterday_date FROM DUAL
In 11i version the output is dispaying correctly but in R12 the current date is dispayed as
Start Date 04-Nov-5242
End Date 04-Nov-5241
As per logic it should be
Start Date 09-Feb-2012
End Date 10-Feb-2012
Please help..Urgent issue.

Here are the answers to your problems :
1. Once u restart , the oracle services and the database is not mounting automatically.That is because, when you install the Oracle Oracle8i Standard Edition Release (8.1.7), the two key services namely
OracleOraHome81TNSListner and
OracleService<your SID name>
are configured as manual start ( check the NT --> start>setting>control panel>services. )
For the database to start automatically the next time you start your machine, these two services will have to be put into "Automatic Start" mode.
< for this double click on the respective service, select the "Automatic" radio button and click on ok>.
Now when you restart the machine, your database will be automatically mounted.
2. this as explained above is a corollory to the above problem. you can start or stop your database on NT using the "Services" window....

I have installed Oracle Oracle8i Standard Edition Release (8.1.7) from technet site.
I have installed it on windows NT 4.0 .
Installation is fine.
I can access or get into SQL prompt .
I have created a database also.
1st problem
My problem is once I restart the Machine and try to access SQL plus .it gives me an error
ORA-01034: Oracle not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist.
2nd problem
I dont know how to start and stop the database , as there is nothing to do that in the start menu of Oracle .
How do i do this .
This is very urgent please help.

Urgent! Help!!! A bug(?) in Dialog.

Now I know why everyone writes urgent and help in the subject. It makes you feel really good.
Anyhow, I searched the forums (honestly!) but found nothing about this particular conundrum.
When I create a Dialog (the awt kind), it doesn't work as expected graphicswise.
If I create just a simple Dialog and setVisible() it, it isn't drawn correctly until I move the mouse pointer over it. I.e. the borders are drawn, but the Dialog isn't filled, so you see what was on the screen under it. When I move the mouse over it it paints it and then works correctly. If I add components to the dialog, some component behaves this way. So if I add a Button to a Panel, and then add the Panel to the Dialog, the button and the frame are drawn correctly, but the Panel is not. Again when I move the mouse over it, it draws OK. The funny thing is, that when I add a whole bunch of stuff to the Dialog, it's the last added Panel that bugs. A workaround is to create a 1x1 Canvas and add that to the Dialog, but this seems to be a bug.
Maybe I'll switch to Swing after I get rid of this bug.

And since you don't know the answer or probably just don't care, why not make this an underground off-topic thread? I don't really care about Dialogs anyway.

I wonder if they'd be interested in my Dialog problem? Might be worth a try.

Is your form running inside the browser window (with SeparateFrame=False)? If the browser is maximized, and your form is maximized, yet you cannot see the entire screen, you can run with SeparateFrame=True. You can do that on the browser line.
