URGENT Flash Decompiler Needed

I am wondering if anyone has a .swf decompiler. I was working
on the final corrections to a flash site for my client Cabinet

and I had to restart my computer and when I restarted it and tried
to open the .fla it said "Failed to open document" and now I can't
access it at all. So I am wondering if anyone has a decompiler and
if you do would you be willing to convert my .swf to an fla? This
is really urgent, I literally was making the final corrections to
the site tonight for my client. Thanks in advance.

as i said in previous post, there is no actual scenes in
flash. Scene are blank frames
and they are not included when the movie is exported.
This is the very reason why we always use label names in
action not scene names as using
go to (scene name) fail to perform almost 80 % of the time.
I don't think it's a glitch, it can't recreate something that
isn't there.
Think of scene as side note sticker which you never give to
client once the job is done.
Pretty much it, minor authoring convenience.
You can do simply test, animate from frame 1 to 10 than scene
2 from 1 to 10. Export to
swf and import to flash. The scene will be a blank frame and
frame 1 of scene two will
becomes frame 11. Thanks how it works in flash.

Urgent Flash help needed; Using Movie Clip Objects

Hello,
I am currently trying to design a small flash movie.
I have a "Movie Clip" object (a short animation) that i wish to act like a static object until a certain frame on the main Timeline.
Then i want it to play out, at it's own pace, just like normal, until it finishes (no looping)...
What do i need to put into, and where do i put it?
So in short, frame 30 of the main animation triggers the clip, whilst the main animation still runs...
I know very, very minimal AS3... so please, can someone help me?
A lot of solutions suggest a button, but I don't want to use a button, as it's not interactive - just a movie.
i just want the damn movie clip to play in the damn movie when it reaches frame 30! it shouldn't be that hard..

There is most likely no need for any code. And most likely no need for a movieclip even.
It sounds like you would need a graphic symbol. (You can convert it in the library or you can just change the instance you have placed on stage.)
First select the symbol on its first keyframe and on the properties panel select the looping options and tell it single frame, first 1.
Then move along your timeline to where you want the animation to start playing. Add a keyframe. Now select Once, first 1.
Now it will start playing, you will be able to see it play as you scrub the timeline.
If you use movieclips and code for this, you won't be able to see them play together as you scrub the timeline.

DANGER: FLASH DECOMPILER

I found a flash decompiler that can steal every single piece
of a flash
compiled file swf.
to test it i created a flash 8 "encrypetd" swf using
"protection aganist
importing" option when i compile the file.
but this program just skip this it wasnt protected. How can i
protect the
swf? This software can be fatal for us.

Urgent!help needed!!Payment issue!!!

Last day I updated my credit cart info to make the payment and on the screen comes up a hint as follows:
I updated the info for 6 times to make sure it is OK.Every time I update I receive a hint from my bank about $1,which in total is about $6 for 6 times.
And words from the bank said the money for the creative cloud still remain in my account and was not charged.
later I check with the customer service support and I was told the payment was not successfully.
And in my transaction record there was no record of October.
What is exactly the situation????

if you have performance problems with your table because of lots of different controls in it, then maybe you could try instead of that to create two tables, one for display of rows (only textviews), and the other table for editing only one row (currently selected row). The second (for edit) table can be shown only when you want to add a new row, or edit selected row and it can be hidden when you are finished with editing selected row.
In that way you can have one big table with only textviews and no events, and one small - one row table for editing with dropdowns, datepickers etc.
You can put EditTable(the one for editing) above ShowTable (the one in which you display rows as textviews).
ie.
EditTable
ShowTable

i was wondering how you make the text scramble then display the messeage like that?

this is a better way to do it in one textfield. it's easily amended to display one letter per textfield and add textfields as needed.

In recent weeks many websites show "blocked plug-in". Clicking onto it reveals a notice that my Adobe Flash Player needs updating but I'm not able to do it because Step 3 of the update has "blocked plug-in" in it.

If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then in System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.

Hi there, looks like you posted this one a couple days ago
but incase you come back to check I think I can help.
Well, if you're using a template within flash you can simply
use shift+F12 to publish the site. It will create a .html, and .swf
file in the same directory you have the .fla flash file stored. To
publish to the web, upload the .html and .swf file to your public
web directory. Simple as that.
no problem linking pages etc. Just create a button and link
use getURL(website,"_self") in your onRelease event handler. Happy
to give more detail if you like.

By default SMS has it's own text encoding and therefore you cannot use UTF8 nor UTF16. There is a special UCS2 encoding, alowing for 70 unicode characters to be send (per sms). See: http://www.dreamfabric.com/sms/

Hello,
I've just been learning about Flash decompiler's and was
wondering what kind of encryption protection is available in Flash
8 professional. If none, will there be something in the next
version that will protect decompiler programs from ripping the raw
source files from my flash work?

I don't know how many applications today are compiled to

Who can reccomend a good Flash decompiler?

I'm looking for a Flash decompiler and I was hoping for a
recomendation.
I work in an organization where we frequently have to update
Flash files
that were built several months or more in the past.
Unfortunately, the
organization system hasn't maintained the FLAs in any
particular spot (until
recently), so the old ones can be very difficult to locate.
Sometimes
impossible. The SWFs, however, are generally much easier to
find.
I'm under the impression that a decompiler will help us
convert these SWFs
back into FLAs so they can be edited and updated. Yes? If so,
which ones
work the best. And why, if you care to share that info.

I tried to convert the SWF to FLA but for some reason it didn't do such a good job with it, because when I tried to compile it again, it was not working the way it should.

Was the original file created in older version(CS6 and below) of Flash?
Were you trying to open the file in Flash CS6?
Did your original file had symbol names containing | : ; & * , etc.characters or leading/trailing spaces?

URGENT dreamweaver help needed

I need some urgent help please any experts here. I have 2
html pages. One is my index and one is my home. The index has an
image with a ENTER link which when clicked takes them to another
html which has my flash file in it. The problem I have is when
someone clicks enter the home page opens in big window and my flash
pice is stuck on one side. It is 766 by 662 and I want when someone
clicks enter that the home page open in a smaller window around 776
by 662 in size and in center of screen so it looks better. Also
would be nice when someone type web address the index page also
opens in smaller size. Please can someone tell me in as easy to
understand terms how to to this. Thanks and hope someone is able to
