I HAVE A URL LIKE THIS:

BUT WHEN I REDIRECT IT ..IT BREAKS AFTER SEMICOLON...
I ALSO TRIED URLEncoder.encode("http://reservations.lodging.com/servlet/reservations.PropertyInformationXML?propcode=SI;865&remote=ego1
it still breaks..anyone please help me out here

That should work. Post more of your code... are you sure you're using the String returned by the encode method?

You can specify a name for the Frameset using the name attribute for the <frameset> tag. And in the link you can specify this name as value for the target attribute. There is an example in the link I posted.
Roughly it should look something like this.
<frameset name="fthis" ..... />
<a href="somelink" target="fthis"/>
I didnt check for the exact syntax.

URGENT HELP, How do you burn a DVD from Final Cut Pro

There are several ways to do it. To keep it simple just export a self contained movie out of FCP then import this into DVDSP. It will do all the encoding in the background for you. The prefered way is to export out of your timeline to Compressor and use one of the DVD-mpeg-2 presets. The preset you use depends on the the length of your project, the quality of the video, etc. Once you get to understand mpegging a bit more you can create your own settings to suit yourself. If you have to be done by tomorrow just keep it simple and get it done - then you can play another day : )

console.
I understand that the following steps are required:
1.Create connection pool for the RMI driver by specfiying URL as
jdbc:weblogic:rmi and Driver as weblogic.jdbc.rmi.Driver. Now
comes the problem.. what do put in properties text area? I am
talking about key/value pairs required?
2. Having done step 1 ( which I was not able to do) , create a new DataSource
mapping to the connection pool created from step 1.
How to accomplish step 1 ? I want to finally connect to Oracle
database. Please help me.

DataSource will internally do that for you (It will use RMI internaly) . You
dont have to worry about the details of using RMI driver. Thats what is a
DataSource is for.

The page users access currently for login is (only over the Intranet)- http://servername/pls/portal30/url/page/pagename
I need users to be able to point to - http://project.companyname.com/project
and be taken to the above Login page.
What needs to be setup (Apache/Portal)??
I created a Virtual Hosts entry in the httpd.conf file -

Urgent help: How to remove the accumaltion when show movies step by step with buttons

I want to show the movie step by step by clicking the next
button. Inside each frame, many movie clips are generated
dynamically at runtime, and they can be played interactively.
I achieves the step-by-step display of those frames by adding
another layer with the action stop(). But I got one trouble: all
the movie clips from previous frames are accumalted. How to remove
the accumulation from previous frames?
For the continuous display of the movie, I tried to use
onEnterFrame() and change the _visible property of all the movie
clips to false in this function. But it doesn't work for the
step-by-step display. Once I click the next button, the movie clips
at the current frame just show very quickly, then disappear. What
should I do?
I need to fix this immediately.

URGENT HELP: How to reformat an external hard drive?!

We purchased a Desk Hammer external hard drive with USB. My hubby plugged it into his Mac G4/OS 8.6 and when it was recognized, he selected to format it for Mac only. We needed it to be ISO Whatever so I can use it on my Windows systems too. The Desk Hammer people are no help with how to get access to this thing and reformat it (in fact, WARNING they say they do not even support Mac usage for these drives!). What can I do to reformat it to work on the Windows side? thanks for any help....

Windows machines support Windows formats some of the time.
The Mac formats and supports many common formats, and is nice about it.
You use the exact same utility you used to format it for the Mac, only you select MS-DOS as the type. If the drive is of a modest size, that is all you need to do.
The Mac will also happily read and write files on it, even though it is an MS-DOS drive. It may not properly show their Icons (everything may be generic MS-DOS documents) until the files are copied to a Mac drive.
A very large drive will need a third-party utility to format all the space on it into Windows format.
ISO-whatever and High Sierra and a few others are CD-only formats, you will not be able to format a Hard drive to that format.

Urgent HELP - How to reduce the number of entries in table MESYBODY?

Does anyone know how to reduce the number of records in synchronization table MESYBODY and MESYHEAD? The reason I wanted to reduce these tables is because I believe they have so many duplicated entries that causes extremely slow performance everytime we sync. Currently, there are almost 50,000 records for approximately 100 users, and I believe it shouldn't be that much.
We are running into a problem that it takes approximately 25-30 minutes to sync.
Any advices would be highly appreciated.

please try to run the middleware job WAF_MW_MAPPING. For some applications (Mobile Time and Travel for example) this helps to clean the tables.

Go to Transaction /n/sapapo/ccr i.e.CIF Comparision/Reconcillation of Transaction Data. then Click on
Execute Comparision/Reconcillation Tab. Then Enter Parter System i.e ECC,then Proudct & Location.then Select Document to be checked like Production Order i.e Mfg Ordrs(with Reqs/Receipt , with Opernations),Planned Order,Purchase order etc. which you want to Transfer in ECC concern to the Product.Then Execute the Transaction.
You will find Transaction data & result Documnet.Open the Transaction Data i.e Mfg Orders or Planned Orders.Then double click on Requirements/Receipts or Operations.You will find the objects in right hand side.Select all the objects & push in to R/3 with Push button R/3.

Need urgent help: how to avoid concurrent calls on statefull session beans

Hi,
I need a little advice in designing a EJB session facade using JSPs, servlets, session and
entity beans.
My current design is:
- JSP pages: here are only getMethods for the session bean used. All set-methods are handled by a
- servlet: I have got one servlet handling several JSP pages. The servlet basically takes the
form fields and stores them in the session bean and than dispatches to the next JSP-page
- stateful session bean: here is, where all the business logic is conducted. There is one session
bean per servlet using several
- CMP entity beans: to talk to the database (Oracle 8i)
The application server is JBoss 3.0.3.
My problem is, if a user clicks on a submit button of a JSP page more than once before the next
page builds up, I may get a "javax.ejb.EJBException: Application Error: no concurrent calls on
stateful beans" error. I already synchronized (by the "session") the code in the servlet, but
it happens in the JSP pages as well.
I know, that Weblogic is able to handle concurrent calls, by JBoss isn't and it's clearly stated
in the spec, that a user should avoid to have concurrent calls to a stateful bean.
The big question is now: How can I avoid this? How can I prohibit the user to submit a form several
times or to ignore anything, which arrives after the first submit?

Synchronizing on the session is probably your best bet.
You'll need to do all the data access and manipulation in the servlet. Cache any data you need using request.setAttribute() and then not access the EJB on the JSP page.
If performance is an issue, you may also want to use create a user transaction to wrap all the EJB access in, otherwise each EJB call from the servlet is a new transaction. Just make sure you use a finally block to properly commit/rollback the transaction before you redirect to the JSP.

If u want the cursor not to move ahead from a particular field when the records are inserted or updated on that field then u can just write null to the
key-next-item trigger of that particular item.
ie IN key-next-item
