URGENT HELP! My mini completely died!!!
I was in the process of transfering some music files to my external hard drive and all of a sudden its power cut off completely! All of the other things plugged through the surge protector did not cut off so its not a power issue on that end. I tried unplugging everything and plugging back in, and messing with the power input jack but no luck. Does anyone at all have any expierience with this problem, I have work that I need it for, this is urgent! Is my mini toast or is there something I can do? Plugged into it currently is broadband, power cable, vga moniter, firewire solo recording interface, maxtor 200 gig external usb hard drive and a belkin usb hub with my keyboard, printer, and m-audio keystation. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Well, I ended up taking the mini to the Apple store in Tysons Corner. Not only was it an hour and a half drive from my home (which isn't a real problem except annoyance) once I got there, I had to wait for about an hour before my name was called, about 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. When I finally was called I got a "genius" who grabbed my computer, plugged it in, said it would have to stay there and would not answer any question I had with more than a word or two. If this is the way Apple treats their customers, it's not a very good business practice.
To put a long story short, I still have no idea what is wrong with my mini even after speaking with a "genius". He gave no potential answers or seemed to care at all, I just signed a paper, he threw it on the shelf and said come back in 7 days. That's it.
After all this, with terrible customer service/appreciation AND faulty equipment on a machine that's only a few months old and supposed to be quite reliable, my confidence in Apple computers has been shaken if not destroyed. Once I get the mini back I may infact sell it in the local classifieds and put it towards a nice Windows laptop. This mini was to be used for my small business I'm starting up at the beggining of the summer, but now I don't know if it will work or break down unexpectedly again. Anyway, sorry to release my steam, I just wanted to let everyone know a "genius" is now on the job...

URGENT Help: Mac mini starts up, then just "died down" (power down...)
Hello all. This is my sis's Mac mini Intel.
Was actually booting from Leopard OS X thinking of an upgrade OS, ran Disk Utility and it reported some error cannot be repaired:
Invalid sibling link
Volume check failed
Error: Filesystem verify or repair failed
So I gave up the idea, quit the installer and restart, and press "Eject" to get the disc out.
*But now, it seems like when the Mac mini starts up, with the grey Apple logo and the spinning wheel, after a while, it just "stops", "fades away" and power off. Like a "sudden shut down" or "sudden sleep"*
So far I have *tried reset PRam* and also and SMU or something (plugging every cord out etc) but to no avail.
*HELP!! At least I want to be able to do a boot up to retrieve all the data before any hard re-format or something*
Thanks and cheersIt is possible, with the errors Disk Utility reported, that some (possibly even all) of the files on the drive will be damaged or inaccessible, so it is best to proceed with some caution.
There are several possibilities for recovering the files, all dependent on the situation. You could, for example, remove the hard drive from the mini, fit it in an external drive case and connect it to another system. That would, in my view, be the best option. Alternatively, you might be able to get the mini into firewire target disk mode (hold the T key down during bootup) and connected (via firewire) to another Mac, rescue files that way, or boot the system from an external drive which has a valid MacOS install for that system, and then rescue files from the internal drive.
You may find, if the drive's data structure is corrupt, that even if you can access the hard drive via any of the methods above, you'll need a utility such as Data Rescue II (http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue.php) to locate and retrieve what you need. You might also consider use of a utility such as DiskWarrior (http://www.alsoft.com/DiskWarrior/index.html) as a means to attempt a repair of the disk so that it can be returned to use - though this is by no means certain to succeed, and may not resolve potential data loss. -

Urgent help. I have upgraded my phone but every few hours the apple appears and stays for 15 min an hour or more?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the issue persists, take the device to Apple for evaluation. -

I have Mac mini and there is partition of boot camp but some miss understanding the osx 10.8.2 is deleted and while I m going to recovery mode the portition can not removing and the also cant repaired what I do I need urgent help ???? Please ?????
Do you have a Time Machine backup or clone? If not,
all is lost if you have in fact deleted your OSX partition
and you will have to do a reinstall from Recovery HD
and install all else. -
URGENT HELP NEEDED - iPhone 3Gs no longer detected or charged by MacBook
My iPhone 3Gs (3.1) has been running fine, until several hours ago today, when I plugged it to my MacBook, the iPhone is no longer detected - it doesn't show up in iTunes, nor it is charged. I tried opening iPhoto, and it wasn't there too. Not with Image Capture too. I tried charging it using the out-of-box wall charger using the same out-of-box USB cable I use for MacBook, and it can be charged without any problem. Then I put it into Recovery mode, and there iTunes can see it. I don't want to restore it before I figure out exactly what went wrong, as I don't want the restore process somehow gets stuck in the middle that the connection is lost again.
I've tried reinstalled iTunes, including completely removal of Apple Mobile Device Support, as instructed by Apple. But still no luck.
I've tried switching to another USB port of my MacBook. No luck.
My iTunes is the latest 9.0.1, and my Mac OSX is 10.6.1. My iPhone is on 3.1, upgraded from 3.0.
I've read from web that it seems I'm not the only one out there having this problem. But none of them seem having any real working solution.

anyway, did a restore just now. it seems okay now. but the problem is i have no idea what cause this, and i can't replicate the problem. so i don't know when it will happen again ... maybe a bug with os 3.1 ... others on web said os 3.1 is quite buggy ... -
URGENT HELP NEEDED!!! (Almost a matter of life and death)
Well, it's more of a matter of failing a course or not...
Anyway, my Java professor gave us some labs to do. I know Java front and back, at least, whatever version I learned a few years back. This is my first tenure with the Scanner object, and it's messing me up.
I'm using Eclipse for my project. I have three files in the source folder, ABC_Manufacturing.java, mseast.dat and mswest.dat. Now, when I try to instanciate a new Scanner object, it won't find the files:

I'm trying two seperate ways to do this. Neither are working, this is the error I get:

Please, I need urgent help. This is due tomorrow at noon, and I have no idea what to do at this point. I can't really continue, because at this point its just looking at what prints out and formatting it, and I don't want to do that without testing to see if my code to convert the file data into arrays work. You dig? Thanks for any and all help, and I'm going to kill my professor...she spent a week going over parallel arrays but did nothing to show us how to import files into projects or use the scanner class. I would prefer to use plain XSL-Transformations, because you have a lot more options to transform your source and you can even better determine, how your output should looks like.

You have not specified which version of Premiere Pro was given to you. If you don't have the disc (which i suppose you don't have) you will have to download it online.
As far as your registration is concerned, for Premiere Pro CS6 or earlier you will have to reach Adobe chat support for further help: http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
For Premiere Pro CC and later, you will not have much problems reactivating it.

Dear Lenovo,
there is some serious problem with Lenovo S890 Android stock messaging application....its is extremely slow and its keeps refreshing itself....it take almost 5 min for me to open the messaging application...why does it keeps refreshing itself?....I have almost 300 mb of RAM free, then also it take so much time to get it .

Urgent Help Reqd: Delta Problem....!!!

Urgent help reqd regarding follwoing scenario:
I am getting delta to ODS 1 (infosource : 2LIS_12_VCHDR) from R/3. Now this ODS1 gives delta to Cube1. I got one error record which fails when going to cube (due to master data check).And this record would be edited later.
So I thought of re loading cube and using error handling to split request in PSA and load valid records in cube.Later when I have coorect info abt error, I would load erroneous record manually using PSA.
I did following steps:
1)Failed request is not in cube...(setting is PSA and then into target)....also it has been deleted from PSA.
2)Remove data status from source ODS1.
3)Change error handling in infopackage to valid " Valid records update, reporting possible".
4)start loading of cube.
But when I did this I got following message :

But both my requests in cube and ODS are Green...no request is in yellow...!!
Now the problem is :
1) I have lost ODS data mart status
2)how to load valid records to cube, since errorneous record can be edited only after 3- 4 days.
3)How not to affect delta load of tomorrow.
Please guide and help me in this.

I just checked in cube...there is no failed request for today...and neither in PSA....Person who has handed this to me may have deleted this is PSA..and why req is not in failed state in cube...I am not sure..though setting is "PSA and then into data package".....
So how to go frm here....

I need urgent help!! I have authorized my account on my computer and one other computer, but recently i copied some music onto my friends ipod from my computer. He went home to his house, and plugged in his ipod, a messege came up and he now has access to ALL my music i have payed for!!!! I wish to deauthorize all but i cant becuase i need 5 computers... Do i have to go to his house and delete all my music from his ipod and deauthorize my account on his computer???? Apple, you really need to fix this. I wish to just have my music on MY computer, now my friend can access ALL MY MUSIC!!! :@. what do i do? please respond FAST. So what do i do? i have copied a couple of "paid" songs to his ipod, so would i just have to delete ALL the songs from his ipod first, then deauthorize it?? becuase if i deauthorize my account, and he has only just one song, the messege might pop up again??? and he can access all my music again? what should i do? -

I tried to search in the forum before I sent this request and I did not find my answer.
I am using Production suite CS4, Windows 7. I am trying to figure out whatr is the best export setups (codec) to send to the post captioned place who works with Final cut pro. It is a 45 min documentayy shot on hxp170 that will be broadcasted on APTN channel (standard and HD). I shot 720p 24 fps (native) My files are 1.33 pixel ratio.
I want the best quality possible regardless of the size of the file.
Can Avid DNxHD codec work? (I googled and did not find a proper answer)
Also a problem: I tried to export an MXF version and an uncompressed AVI. I used Sapphire plug ins (cartoon, film scratch, glow etc) and with some export setup, it make some clips slide up or left of the screen!!! Anyone had that before?
Also: should I export 24 fps or 23.976?

In reference to your first question, it might be worth asking them what they WANT. They may have a preferred pre-broadcast format, and if you can supply that, it may save your material from being transcoded (again).
