Urgent help nokia c7 front camera error belle

i have upgrade to belle then i show that my front camera is not working.
it is showing "unexpected error occurred, please restart the camera. if this doesnot help please restart your phone"
i restarted the phone then also not worked.
i tried soft reset then also not worked .
i tried 3 finger format (volume key,menu key and camera key)
then also my problem not solved . i reinstalled the software then also the same problem . please tell me what to do . and my phone is not under warantee ...
friends please help me out ... due to this problem i cant make video calls...

Since you have mentioned that you encountered the issue after updating the software to Symbian Belle, if you have not tried doing a soft reset on your phone, you may just dial *#7780# and enter the default security code 12345 if not changed. It will restore the settings back to default or manufacturer's settings, no data will be deleted. It fixes some issues on the device. If issues persists, you may try to reinstall the software to fix some application issues on your phone.
Just follow the steps below:
Connect your phone to PC using USB cable and launch Nokia Suite.
Once your device is recognised, click on Tools and select Software Update.
Click on the "reinstall" button.

I use the front camera on Nokia 701 for video calling, works alright.
That is the main thing I think, cant see any other use of it cause of the much better back camera when taking photos or video recording...Am I missing something important?

C7 front camera error

Hi, please help me after I updated my c7 software to symbian anna my front camera is not working, I am getting error "unknown error occurred, please restart the camera, if problem persist then restart the phone" and after restarting still I am getting the same error.

If you have front-facing camera problems, consider the possibility that the camera module itself may have become detached. My C7 recently fell a distance of about 30 cm onto a wooden floor. I now get the same "unknown error, please restart" whenever I try to access the front cam.
I took my phone to a Nokia care point and they opened the phone and the tiny camera module just fell out. There are about 16 pins which connect this module and it doesn't look like it's soldered into place using conventional soldering methods. There is no sign of soldering actually, just tiny contact points. I dont know if this module normally just gets held in place or whether they are soldered by some special manufacturing process. But it looks extremely fragile and probably is, as I've found out.
You will never know that the camera has broken off without the phone being dismantled, since the module is held in place by a rubber gasket pressing against the touchscreen.

Front camera error on my BBPLAYBOOK

on my playbook when i try 2 open my front camera its not opening . its showing camera error & the camera is in use .close any other instances of the camera and try again...

Best thing to do with any apparent hardware fault is
1. Restart (you already tried that)
if that does not work
2. Backup data and perform a Security Wipe (Settings, Security, Security wipe) and set your playbook up again.
if that does not work
3. Debrick.
If debrick does not work, call your country's RIM support number ( www.blackberry.com/playbook )Tell them you have already reinstalled the OS using Desktop Software (because that is what they will walk you through otherwise) Depending in whether you are in warranty you will then have various repair/replace/trashcan options.

Backup your data the best way you know how.
Make sure you know your Blackberry ID and password
Turn Playbook right off (i.e. Shut Down til black)
Download latest Blackberry Desktop Software to your PC or Mac and start it up
The next bit happens very quickly.
Connect the Playbook by USB cable.
If the red light starts to glow or playbook starts up, press the Off button til it goes off.
Because Playbook is off you will get an error message basically saying Retry or Update (on Mac it may say Repair rather than Update)
Quickly select the Update (or Repair) option
The Playbook will start to get a new OS that will take al least an hour to download via the PC
Follow the registration process using your current Blackberry ID
Add back your email accounts etc.
Reinstall your apps from App World, My World.

URGENT HELP (NOKIA N8)

My problem is extremely simple but Nokia complicated matters
Well folks, I have a Nokia N8 Belle Refresh (111.040.1511) and I have no more right to download music through the Ovi Music Unlimited service, when I bought the device, I enabled service and everything was working correctly, but when I updated the Symbian Anna for Belle, I've lost my license and now I can no longer download unlimited music, I performed all methods trying to validate the situation but every time I try to register the service again (by clicking on Download music unlimited), I see the message "You can not use this device for unlimited downloads. your device has been enabled for unlimited downloads. If you are trying to activate the PIN code for unlimited downloads, you must use the new Nokia Music Unlimited that came with it."
I've tried to solve the problem by creating other Nokia account and using the account once enabled
I need a new PIN for downloads, because it is impossible to really need to buy another device just to use the service, I need the help of a collaborator and team of users, how can I resolve this problem?

Nokia C7 secondary camera error

i am using a nokia c7 yesterday when i opened my secondary camera it just displays a error msg saying that: "unexpected error occured;restart the phone"

Nokia E6 Front Camera

Does anybody know whether the secondary camera can be used to take photo's?
I know that some Nokia handsets have this facility that can be used for both video calls and photo's, but I have pre-ordered the Nokia E6 and was hoping the secondary camera could also be used for taking pictures.

I'd much rather not see(or hear) myself AT ALL
But I believe that's the main use other than video calling, some cheaper feature handsets with no front facing camera have a small mirror under the rear camera to help a user take a self portrait !

Urgent Help Needed for WVC210 camera setup :)

Please help! I am trying to set up a Cisco WVC210 surveilance camera at one of the stores owned by the company I work for. Its a small business and I am the closest they have to an I.T person !! I have plenty of experience with software but not much on networking so need some idiot proof guidance ! The "administrative guide" is not worth the paper it is printed on!!
The store has a fixed IP address of 212.9.##.### I connected the camera using ethernet cable. Set the camera up using the software for the camera, with static ip address of 192.168.0.23. Set the SSID of the camera to that of the router (a Netgear one). It worked fine. I went to unplug so I could have it wireless and NOTHING !! It did work one time (no idea what i did differently!) but it would not work over the internet which is what we need it to do! I need the whole thing password protected too!
Is there ANYONE who can help me please??? I am at the point of running away from my work and never returning !!!! :s

Thank you for posting. In order to make the camera connect wirelessly, first set up the wireless settings in the camera to match the router. I usually open the router configuration page and copy and paste the SSID and Security Passphrase to the camera to avoid error. The next step is to unplug the ethernet cable and power cord from the camera. Then plug only the power back in and the camera should connect wirelessly.
For remote access to the camera you will need to forward port 80 to the LAN IP address of the camera. (192.168.0.23) This is done in the router. If you need help with port forwarding, you can search the web or call Netgear for assistance.
If you continue to need assistance with the camera, the fastest and easiest way to get assistance is to call Cisco Small Business Support. www.cisco.com/go/sbsc

Hi Shalini ,
Do you see Sia.exe, CMS.exe in the taskmanager of the server operating system.
If you cannot see the exe's , try stoping and starting the SIA, if it still fails check CMS database configuration and the connectivity of the Server OS with the CMS database server. Mostly it is the connectivity issue with the CMS database. Check with Database team if there was any changes in the database server
Rebooting the server might help.

Have you tried resetting the camera?
Go to settings and then scroll across to applications and then scroll down to pictures+camera. From there scroll down to the bottom and reset camera.

I solved the above issue and I thought may be this would be helpful to others. I solved the process order issues through assisgming proper responsibility and proper org_id under which you are booking orders. If we have these tow correct, then most of the issues will be rectified..
