Siebel SSO Integration with Novell eDirectory

I am wondering if anyone on this forum has worked with integrating a SSO solution using Novell eDirectory and Siebel. I have personally worked on SSO integrations with Siebel using Cleartrust and Siteminder and they are all basically the same concept however, I am facing issues trying to get the Novell SSO solution to work with Siebel.
I am using the standard LDAP Security adapter and I can make a basic connection into Siebel using LDAP. When implementing SSO I am using a "header" value and a custom userspec name that is different then then "Remote_Use" name mentioned in the Siebel SSO documentation. With SSO turned on I am successfully able to authenticate and almost get all the way into the home page of Siebel before the IE browser crashes. The SWSE log files, interestingly enough, show that my userspecsource is equal to header and that my userspec is correct and then I see the SISNAPI connection occurring between the Siebel We Server and the Siebel AOM but then after the IE browser crashes I see the SWSE log which then tries to picks up Siebel's default userspec " Remote_User" value which is not confiugred or turned on anywhere from within the application. I was just wondering if anyone else had faced similar issues when integrating Siebel into Novell eDirectory for SSO. I have also reviewed the configuration on Novell's side and they are protecting the correct object manager and are also using the same exact userspec name as what we have defined within the eapps.cfg of Siebel. We are using Siebel 8.1.1 Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated as I have not gotten much support from my open SR on this issue.

Tacacs+ access issue with ASA firewall after integrating with RSA SecureID

Hi,
In my earlier post, I raised the same question but let me rephrased it again. I have configured TACACS+ in cisco ASA firewall and able to access . But when I integrated it with RSA secure ID , I am not able to enter in enable mode. It is not accepting enable password nor RSA passcode. I have created enable_15 in ASA , ACS and RSA server but no luck.
Did any one face similar issue with ASA access ?

In order to help you here, I need to know few things:
1.] Show run | in aaa
2.] When you enter enable password on ASA CLI, what error do you see on ACS > Monitoring and reports > AAA protocols > tacacs authentication > "look for the error message"
3.] Turn on the debugs on ASA "debug tacacs" and "debug aaa authentication" before you duplicate the problem.

ACS 5.3 Integration With RSA

Hi People,
I have Integrated the ACS 5.3 with AD.
Now my next goal is to Integrate ACS with RSA in such a way that all my Cisco devices should use the username and password from the AD.
The enable privilege level should come from the RSA Token OTP.
Is it possible to do such a thing with ACS 5.3???
If so how could i do it???

I think that can try and make a rule in the identity policy based on the Service attribute in the TACACS+ dictionary
(this is not tested and based on my recollection so would need your verification)
1) Create a custom condition for the service attribute in TACACS+ dictionary
Policy Elements > Session Conditions > Custom
Create: Dictionary: TACACS+ ; Attribute:Service
2) Utilize in a rule in Device Admin identity policy
Access Policies > Access Services > Default Device Admin > Identity
Sselect a rule based
Customize based on condition in 1
Create a rule for when Service is "Enable". Select identity source as RSA in this case

OBIEE 11.1.1.5 SSO integration with OAM 11gR1 (11.1.1.5)

I am integrating OBIEE 11.1.1.5 with OAM 11gR1 (11.1.1.5).
I have configured as per section 12.3 of following link:

After making all these configurtions, when i access:
http://<OHS server>:<OHS port>/analytics
User is getting prompted for auth from OAM. After successful auth, request gets redirected to WebLogic server hosting the OBIEE app. I have verified in OBI logs that the header value OAM_REMOTE_USER gets passed to OBI.
But even with all this, after successful OAM authentication, user is getting prompted with OBI login page.

I have already make the following configurations as per the documentation:
To enable SSO:
1.Log in to OBIEE at
http://[OBIEE server:port]/em.
2.Click Farm_<OBIEEDomain>_domain > Business Intelligence > Coreapplication.
3.Click the Security tab.
4.Select Enable SSO.
5.Select SSO Provider: Oracle Access Manager.
6.Click Apply and Activate Changes.
Do we need to make some other configurations also at OBIEE EM ?

Urgent help... can't do anything with my iMac desktop

Hello,
I am a first time user, so I will appolgize in ahead if this is an asked question in the past.
I use an iMac (intel-based) with Snow Leopard OS (10.6). Yesterday, I 'updated' my Apple/Mac Security Update' via the usual software update and a major issue happened afterward that trouble me. For some reason, I do not have the 'permission' to do anything on my desktop, i.e. move files/folders, renaming them, delete them, move/save files to desktop, etc. I checked online, the common answer is to remove 'com.apple.finder.plist' and/or 'com.apple.sidebarlists.plist' via home/library/preferences on my computer. I've done so and reboot/re-login my computer, but nothing has changed. I even tried to remove the 'com.apple.finder.plist' again, but the computer stated it's not possible. I can do anything else within the folders or anything else as long as it's not what's already established on the desktop right now.
I would sure appreciate any help or advice on solving this problem.

Disconnect all devices from the computer then do the following:
Boot up from your Snow Leopard Install DVD while holding down the "c" key.
Select the language you wish to use, and then choose "Disk Utility" from the menu bar.
Your HD should appear in a panel on the left hand side of the window which opens. Select it and then click on the "repair disk" button in the right hand section of the window.
Once this process has been completed restart your computer and repair permissions directly from Disk Utility.
If Disk Utility is unable to complete the repair, you will need to use a stronger 3rd party utility like DiskWarrior, Techtool PRO (not Deluxe) or Drive Genius.

Urgent help! trying to create basic report with prompt.

I'm trying to create a report which allows a user to select a item_id value (using either a LOV or manually entering a text_id) and then too display output.
for some reason apex does not like the '&' prompt, in the SQL.
Any help or suggestions, would be great? this is quite straightforward so it must be something I'm doing wrong!
sql statement below:
select i.item_id, i.title, d.date_logged, d.details
from tracking_issues i, tracking_details d
where i.item_id=&item_id
and i.item_id=d.item_id

Apex is building a JSP, so instead of you running the page and it poping up a input box that you might be familar with if you run your sql in TOAD or SQL Nav it is waiting on your input(text box/LOV) to populate the item_id field. You need to build your LOV on something like select item_id d, item_id r from items and then once you select that item in the LOV the page will(should - based on how your branch is set up) to the page you are on and your report is displayed.
Also make sure in your branch you are setting the LOV item name to the value you select for it in the branch since the page needs re-submit.
Your select statement for your report should look like:
select item_id, title
from tracking_issues
where item_id=:p1_LOV
--where p1_lov is the name of your LOV

Urgent help needed while applying patch for upgrade with conflicts

I try to upgrade 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.3 on LInux environment.
I have to apply patch P1253900 before the upgrade per oracle doc.
however I got following conflict:
Verifying environment and performing prerequisite checks...

Checking skip_subset
Conflicts/Supersets for each patch are:

Conflict with 12827726
Conflict details:

Refer to My Oracle Support Note 1299688.1 for instructions on resolving patch conflicts.
I checked above oracle note, and did not say any resolution.
If anybody had the same issue before, please help me with the resolution.

OID Installation Questions pertaining to integration with EBS 11.5.10.2

Our Environment is E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 and we want to investigate/view OID/SSO in action. Ultimately, we'll attempt to use Microsoft Active Directory as the source (of truth). I had performed OID/SSO integration with EBS about 3 years ago and remember the "overall" scheme, but Oracle's documentation/downloads page has left me thoroughly confused, hence, I am asking those that have been through the process .... THANKS IN ADVANCE
(1) Do I need to install the base AS 10g Infrastructure and Metadata Repository via 10.1.2.0.2 installation or can I go directly to installing OID 10.1.4.0.1 ??
Here is what I believe the steps to be, PLEASE, correct me if I am wrong ...
(1) Install 10.1.2.0.2 Application Server Infrastructure by selecting "Infrastructure and Metadata Repository"
(2) Install 10.1.4.0.1 and select to upgrade an existing 10.1.2.0.2 installation. Once 10.1.4.0.1 has upgraded everything, including the database to 10.1.0.5, I assume that I can simply remove 10.1.2.0.2 through the Oracle Installer. Is this correct ??
(3) Once upgrade to 10.1.4.0.1, I believe that I need to download a Metadata Upgrade Assistant patch, (mrua), and run mrua,sh to upgrade MR to 10.1.4.0.1 which will be apparent by querying app_registry view.
(4) Upgrade 10.1.4.0.1 to 10.1.4.3
The documentation is confusing and hard to find for me. Do these steps seem to accomplish the tasks or am I missing something ??

I didn't do the install myself but we went straight to installing 10.1.4 Identity Manangement, although I believe that Infrastructure components which underly it are essentially the same as 10.1.2. As far as I know you can't use 10.1.3 because it lacks those infrastucture components.

The IRM integration with Beehive was developed by and is maintained by the Beehive team, you may be able to get more help on the Beehive forums (http://forums.oracle.com/forums/category.jspa?categoryID=180). In the meantime I'll try to answer your query to the best of my knowledge.
The ClassificationId can be can be any text that you wish to use to identify the beehive classification e.g. Beehive Classification ID.
The ClassificationLabelName should be used to identify the Beehive classification to the user, it will be displayed in the IRM user interfaces in places such as the information bar.
The ClassificationSystemID and KeySetUUID values should each be set to their own UUID. You can generate one on linux using uuidgen.
The DesktopSyncURI and the DesktopURI values should be set to the IRM classification url e.g. https://irm.example.com:16101/irm_desktop.
The IrmDesktopServiceEndPoint should be set to the IRM server url followed by /irm_sealing/desktop_services e.g. https://irm.example.com:16101/irm_sealing/desktop_services.
The IrmSealingServiceEndPoint should be set to the IRM server url followed by /irm_sealing/sealing_services e.g. https://irm.example.com:16101/irm_sealing/sealing_services.
The IrmUserName should be a valid user that can log into IRM and Beehive
The IrmUserPassword should be the password for the above account
The other values can be left blank.
The ClassificationServices error from IRM is likely to be related to the xml file in the classification plug-in jar file. The most frequent causes of those have been where XML editors have reformatted the example configuration changing things like

The fussy XML parser then refuses to parse the UUID properly because of the surrounding whitespace. This is most likely to be a problem with fields that take UUIDs, so probably just worth checking those first.

Identification of wiki required : Urgent help

I dont know whethere I am putting my question at right place or not. But I need very urgent elp to solve the proble.
My Problem : We have web page in which there will be many widget and one of the widget will be "Wiki widget". After clicking the wiki widget, user should be redirected to wiki application, where user wants to create WORKSPACE. With workspace, user can upload and download file and many more facility. That workspace should be created at server. Workspace must have Read / write permission.
My current working application is running at meeting conferencing device. I want to use the wiki in the device where logged in user can work with WIKI also. The application is based on java/j2ee, linux/ windows and Tomcat 5.5 server.
I want to know the name of the WIKI , which can be integrated with my application with above mentioned features.
Please help me to identify the name of the wiki. That wiki should be freeware / No license.
I know one wiki � CONFLUENCE� but this is not freeware. The features should be almost same as CONFLUENCE� .
