Urgent help on CRM technical interview

Dear All,
I have a technical interview in CRM (base customisation & sales) coming up in the next few days.
First interview which was kind of general has been done.
Now they want to take a technical interview.
Can you guys please advice me what areas in base customisation and CRM sales should I concentrate in order to prepare for this technical interview.
It would be very much appreciated if you can post some example questions like sample questions that they can ask on this occasion.
Also please as per technical point of view, which topics within CRM Sales and base customisation should I prepare.
I shall greatly appreciate any help and inputs in this regard.

Hi Abdul,
Base Customization starts with the CR100 - BASE CUSTOMIZATION. You need to have a good understanding of the CRM Business Transaction, Business Partners, Organization Modules and Products related technical details.
As for the technical Questions, the best points is SDN as it contains mostly the live questions and scenarios which no one else will be able to provide you. Also put a debug point in the existing code and try to get into deep as much as possible.
For any doubts you can always refer SDN.

    I would say that this depends on what you want to focus in the future of your career. If you want to be just programer, then you don't need to know the customization of CRM processes. If your company wants from you also this part, then you are pushed in to this. But in our company the programers are on one side and "proccess users" on the other. I would say it's more important for techncal guy to know a bit about abap, then the way around.
    But if you want to look also to technical aspect, thene there is a lot documentation. Maybe the best way would be to start with one of SAP books about Basics of CRM or at sap.help.com (http://help.sap.com/content/documentation/sbs/docu_sbs_crm_design.htm) and then continue with building blocks also available in SAP.

    How was freight configured with respect to billing?

    In regards to your interview questions:

    Urgent Help Required
    I am extracting Master data from CRM 5.0.
    Infoobject 0BPARTNER is enhanced to accommodate a attribute called NAS(data is filled).
    So for every BP no it has NAS no too
    For The Revenue of Business partner I am extracting from old Legacy System(through DB Connect).
    This legacy table does not BP number it has another Key called NAS.
    BP no is additional field in the ODS.
    I want to write a routine in the transformation(ODS and Data source). SO that the BP number for corresponding NAS is filled into the ODS.

    Goods issues are linked as you described because components consumed by a production order have reservations (RESB) and are assigned to an operation (AFVC).  Goods receipts, on the other hand, do not have reservations and therefore don't have this link to the work center.
    If you are using automatic goods receipt, then one of the operations in the production order will have a control key set up for automated goods receipt (PP03 is the standard, and it's usually the last operation).  The business would likely see this work center as being logically tied to the goods receipt of the produced material.

    hi fellas..
    I am in abap since 3 yrs now and have worked on SD,MM,PP and FI CO. I want to go CRM now. Can u tell me wat cud be possibly the role of an abaper as a technical consultant in CRM implementation?
    I dont knw where to start from > I went into help.sap CRM section , but it explains all CRM nothing abt ABAP point of view. Please help me.

    Hi Gaurav,
    There is no difference in the ABAP that CRM uses.
    I would suggest you not to think from ABAP persepective, just think from the Business Processes perspective i.e the business processes involved while interacting with the customer or rather Business Partner we call in CRM.
    Start your learning from the Business transactions and categories. Explore the tables and function modules or bapis and BADI's that get called if you want to do some technical things.
    Always try to analyse end to end scenario.

    Hi Experts,
    I am new to SAP CRM technical, and as per my knowledge just like AET and EEWB we could use BTE too for enhancing the data model.
    I know and have used AET and EEWB, but not used BTE yet. I have an overview knowledge about BTE and its role in CRM, but I haven't used it practically.
    Could any body please share some example on BTE practical implementation, so that I could follow the same to test and analyse. This would help me to implement BTE in solving real time problems faced by my clients.

    Certification is added advantage for any consultant working in SAP.
    If you attempt for certification with SAP. your skill sets will be registered and you will get SAP USERID.
    With that you can browse  latest SAP Product releases and notes etc.... from SAP support portal.
    There are two ways you can attempt for certification.
    1) You need to go through from your current employeer.
    2) You need to attend trainings from SAP.

    1. E-Commerce - sales, service, marketing and analytics

    I too knew to CRM technical .I used to work as ABAPer.
    i want to share something which i know.
    CRM techincal is nothing but the same thing what you do in R/3.the same reports,bdcs etc.
    But here we do have CRM ic web client (tele sales application -web) .BSP(business server page) is used to develop this application.the other is POTAL application uses CRM as one of its back end systems.Then you need to WEB dynpro(abap or java).again other part of the techincal is CRM middleware.Middleware is a tool where it acts as the interface b/w CRM to many other application s like R/3,BW,Mobile applications etc.Middleware is part of the CRM .So whenever you want to access the data from R/3 you use middleware as an interface just like ALE idoc in R/3.same concept works here.Ther you would say IDOC here it is BDOC.the other application is ISA(internet sales applciation).this totally uses JAVA technology.and Here IPC ll come into the picture.Internet pricing config.it is a tool which ll be used to calcualte the price and discounts to any products where you want to sell them online like here it is ISA.
    So Here the conclusion is So what what you like to go on ..
    1. IC web client development using BSPs
    2.Webdynpro for portal
    3.Middleware consultant
    4. ISA ,IPC developer
    or total 4 ?

  • Lenovo U410 Urgent Help Will Not Turn On

    Hello,
    Firstly i would like to thank anyone reading this post and taking the time out of their day to try and help my problem.
    I have a Lenovo U410 Ultrabook i've had my Laptop for around 1-2 years now and i have kept it in a very good condition there have been no issues with it. About 1 Week ago i was using my laptop left my room for about 30 minutes to have a shower and upon returning i saw that my Laptop was not charging i unplugged the charger from the laptop and place it back in nothing happened. so i turned off my laptop and unplugged the charger from the wall socket. since then i have not been able to turn my laptop back on i have tried but the led's flash twice when i tried to turn it back on. i have changed the fuse in my charger about 3 times with new fuses all 3AMP required and there is no difference at first i thought it was a problem with the charger but now im thinking otherwise and i'm quite worried. After searching around the internet for a fix i have pressed the power button for 30 seconds and the leds blinked 3 times and after trying various methods to turn it back on it has not been succesful i have even uplugged the battery and plugged it back in after removing the back cover. i have no warranty left as it expired and i was not able to renew it. if you have had any experience with similiar problems or any suggestions i would be very interested to hear what you think the next step for me would be. i dont have much money to invest into this laptop but i am prepared to spend some money if need be.
