Summarizing entries of the Internal table--Urgent..plz help

Hi All!!
I have an internal table containing fields f1, f2 ,f3 ..f8.
I want to summarize the entries based on three fields of table f1,f2 and f3.These fields are numeric fields.The other fields have numeric and non numeric fields.One of the field f4 is quantity field which needs to summed.
For example the contents:
1 2 3 4 A 5 6 7
1 2 3 4 A 5 6 7
1 2 3 4 B 5 6 7
3 4 5 5 D 5 6 7
3 4 5 6 D 5 6 7
will be summarized as
1 2 3 8 A 5 6 7
1 2 3 4 B 5 6 7
3 4 5 11 D 5 6 7
4th field is quantity field.It is assumed that if the first 3 fields are same all others numeric field will be same.Non numeric may be different.
Please help in this regard..

Hi Prabhas,
Decalre your internal table of type HASHED. < See F1 to declare such a table>. with key fields as all the character fields.
Then when you are making the entry in your table Use Collect statement.
like Collect itab.
This should give you the required results.
Use table declaration as Hashed Table only.
Use F1 to get details, In case you need code I can give the same as well.

it's not realy a pure jsp related question but i feel the helpfull peaople on this forum will definatly help me.
Actually in my jsp page i am first inserting a manue (drop down ) bar below in the page there may be many text fields and combo boxes ... when i drop the manue bar by moving my mouse on it.... it overlaps well the text fields but if there comes a combo box in it's way the manue bar just cann't overlap it i.e text fields are hidden behind the menue baar but the combo boxes don't due to which my menue baar seems like it has been cut off (when a combo box apperars in it's way).
can anyone of u give me any idea how to get rid of this problem?

yeah i am creating that menue baar with java script and combo boxes are pure HTML select fields .....now back to ur solution how do i know that which combo boxes will come in the manue's way so that i can hide them through java script (hiding combo boxes is very easy but how do i know that which combo boxes i have to hide in my page) i just cann't track those combo boxes especialy when i have more then one manues overlaping more then one combos.....
i tried to use layers too but it didn't work ...still i am facing the same problem.....
have you anyother good idea????

hello expert im using IDOC_INPUT_INVOIC_MRM to create Idoc.
im facing a problem. the docnum in EDIDC and EDIDD is not generated.
it always equal to 00000000000000 so the program cant create the idoc.
do you have any idea plzz, it s urgent im facing the prob since 3 days.

You should not be calling this FM directly. You should be using the following functions: -
'IDOC_INBOUND_WRITE_TO_DB'
'IDOC_START_INBOUND'
SAP will then use the partner profiles to process the IDoc.

You can only wipe your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.

i am creating one custom table zfibue having fields: (serialno, bukrs, matnr,prdha,hkont,gsber,wrbtr,budat, credate, cretime,processed, processedon, processedby,mapped)
fields of zfibue:
serailno = numc
bukrs = char
matnr = char
prdha = char
hkont = char
gsber = char
wrbtr = char
budat = date
credate = date
cretime = time
processed= char
processedon = date
processedby = char
mapped = char      are   belongs to above type data types
and seelct-optionfields: s_bukrs for bseg-bukrs
                                    s_hkont for bseg-hkont,
                                     s_budat for bkpf-budat,
                                     s_processed for zfibue-processed,
                                      s_processedon for zfibue-processedon,

1.11 Download the file to P_FILEPATH using function module GUI_DOWNLOAD passing GT_ZFIBUE.

Logic to be implemented in routine Handle_User_Action

hi,
when i use the code

if(con != null ) con.close();
that works good ,the old error has been corrected.
but it's now throwing an SQLException[b] "datasource name not found and default driver not specified" why this occurs and also can u give me the explanation for the old error????
I am sure that i have created an user DSN, i am 100% sure about it .even though there is an error.

Here, actually i need to request the program to ask the user howmany lines does he wants by asking him to input the number of lines and at the same time write the whole text line that he requested to anew file. PLZ help me out here. So, the program shud display the text files that it read line by line after the user enters the number of lines he wants....DO i need to manipulate the loop or wat???..plz help me out here guys...thanks in advance....

1.) Actually perform some user input of any kind. Right now, the user has no choice.
2.) Read from your file, for that's why you opened it.
3.) Don't use a DataInputStream unless you know what you're doing. Use a BufferedReader instead if it's simply text.
4.) Insert a condition check for the number of lines -- yes, you need to manipulate the loop or what.
P.S.: Multiple posting, no use of code tag, the word "URGENT" in subject, calling people "man" ... this is like wearing a shirt that says "shoot me!".

A lot of times when I get duplicate results, I'll do a select * and see why. Often one of those tables will have a sequenced value that could repeat several times for a combination of values.
If thats the case, you may need to add something like:
...and a.id = (select min(id)

where a.col = b.col)
