(urgent help) problems connecting the muvo n

i just bought it today and i was so happy.. but, i cant seem to connect it to the computer. i have connected the usb cable yet my computer says no device connected to the computer.. nor do i get that status diagram on my player.. the player turns on and off perfectly find but this is the only problem.. i searched the topics and dled the program it said to but still no luck..

As mention what's your OS? If it's Windows 98SE, you'll need to install the driver from the installation CD first before it get detected by the computer. Perhaps you can also try the player on another computer with OS such as Windows 2000 or XP to verify that the player is functioning properly.

I received a present from london. A Nomad MuVo NX. I'm having problems connecting it to the computer. My computer won't detect it at all. I installed all the programs and drivers and everything I could think of. I can't get an icon on the LCD screen saying that it's connected and it won't prompt me to install anything. I've also checked on my computer and it doesn't have an icon for it. It's not even showing up. I'm using a windows XP. Will be waitting for replies. thank you.

The MuVo doesn't need to install any drivers for Windows Me, 2000 or XP, as it should be detected as a USB mass storage device.
You can install the Creative software to rip CDs, and the software has features that help you work with the player such as "Smartfit", which helps compress files to fit on the player and save space.
But as for your problem, can you test with another PC to see if the issue is localised to your PC or to the player itself?

Problem with the MuVo TX

So I was listening to my MuVo which is less than year old, when I had to go to lunch (was in school). I turned off my MuVo and pocketed it as I have done 0000 times. About 40 minutes later I was in one of my computer classes when i decided to swap out some music, so I did, but my MP3 got full in the middle of pasting music in. I hit retry, it didn't work, and stoped trying to tranfer. I pocketed the MuVo and went about my day. About 50 minutes later in a math class I got bored, so I put in my earbuds and pushed the power on button, but no music came. I looked at it and it was stuck on the MuVo TX FM screen. For those who don't know, the loading of my MP3 goes like this:
Creative -> MuVo TX FM -> Loading... -> Starts playing the music.
It wouldn't load, and I couldn't do anything, not even turn it off, so I had to take the battery out. It still gets read when I plug it into my USB port, and I can still put new music on and take music off, but it will never load unless I have NO MUSIC on the MP3 player.
Things that may have contributed to the breaking:
Ran out of memory and I just hit retry instead of cancel (that's probobly not it)
I bought new 97 cent headphones because my oldones broke... (that's probobly not it either)
Aliens decided it'd be funny to replace my MP3 player with a more suckful one (that's definately not it)
Any suggestions on how I can make it work?

HELP - problems connecting my IPOD to my TV?? Wild Colors??

I have just purchased a Rocketfish AV cable to connect my classic IPOD to my Sony Bravia TV - it connects, I get sound but the picture if fluorescent pink and green - I have the video settings to TV OUT, NTSC, Widescreen is off - what is going wrong? The cable colors - red, blue and green - are lined up correctly according to the color codes. Can anyone help? I really want to watch my downloaded tv shows on the TV - Thanks- Susan

Is your iPod the iPod classic (also known as the 6th generation iPod, released September 2007, silver or black front) or is it a classic iPod as in it's an older model? I see quite a few people confuse a classic iPod (i.e. an old iPod) with the current range of iPod classics. If it is a classic i.e. old iPod it may have never been designed to work with a cable to connect it to a TV so that's why you're having problems. If you do have an iPod classic, then the cable should work, especially if it says so on the box. I'd take it back as it may be either incompatible with your iPod or damaged.

Urgent Help needed : Connecting Access 2000 with forms 6i

Dear friends,
I am really struggling to solve this connection issue. I am working with forms 6i, oracle 8i, in Windows XP pro environment. Developing programs using oracle 8i tables is ok, but there are tables in Access 2000, which I have to add the program that I am developing. The things I have done are
- I have already tables in MS Access databse.
- I Installed ODBC for microsoft and for Oracle as well(which . I added the MS Access Database there and I can perfom SQL from Oracle ODBC.
- I also installed OCA for developer from the CD.
From this point I followed the instructions in Developer Help menu and I was not able to connect and still trying, I will appreciate if anyone provide me sometips. Thanks in advance

I know the bad solution. But anyway, I'll tell you in any kind of help. I also had an AccessControlException when I started a RMI client program using JFileChooser. I rewrote policy files again and agin, but in vain. The last and ultimate method I did was remove the RMISecurityManager. This is obviously dangerous in the Internet, but if you use your application in the intranet or in some kind of safe environment. There would be no problem.

Problems connecting the lightning charger to iPhone

I have two cables one which came with the phone and one I bought from apple. Both are brand new and only roughly a week old. So to my surprise I try and charge my iPhone today only to have both of them refuse to stay in when connected to the iPhone. I been trying with both but neither like to stay connected or if it does it doesn't charge and then disconnects. Anybody able to help as would like to avoid a trip to Apple Store on a sunday

Check there is nothing wedged in the charger port in the iphone, also check for the slightest amount of corrosion on any of the pins on leads and in iphone, I had this problem when charging in the car due to condensation forming on pins and got slightly corroded, I wiped them off one blew out bottom of iphone, then plugged in and unplugged lead a few times, that solved it and I haven't had problems since, also on my old iphone 4 I had a corrupted iCloud back up that caused issues with charging and had to set up as new iphone, annoying but also solved the problem.

Go to transaction SM12, put user name PSREDDY.
Exceute it, and select all entry and delete.
After follow the same procedure, you followed early.

Urgent Help : Problem with Native MQ Adapter

We are receiving messages via MQ Series with a message format based on a COBOL copybook. We specified the layout in Fusion using the native feature of incorporating a COBOL copybook. However, if the data is not in the specified format – i.e., too long, too short, or containing invalid characters – then the adapter fails and throws the error in the log file (OC4J log) and never consumes the message from the queue. The key phrase there was “never consumes the message from the queue.” When this situation occurs our BPEL process continually processes the same message over and over (i.e., an infinite loop).

I am not sure if this would help but you can try retrieving the message as "Native format translation is not required i.e. Opaque" instead of defining the exact format (COBOL copybook format). Once you have the message in the BPEL process then you can map it to the COBOL copybook after doing the validation.
Not sure if this is a viable solution as I have not tried it myself.

Urgent Help reg setting the maxlength of a text box

I want to set the max length or the no of characters to be entered of a textbox in parent page from a child popup window.
Even if i use the opener property the maxlength is not set. Is there any other way to set the property. I'm not refreshing the parent page when coming back from child page. I tried to set the value of the text box from child and it's working fine. But the maxlength is not working.. Is there any way to do this.. Pls help me to solve this problem.

Urgent help ----problem of component id and attribute value

I want to produce a dynamic menu that compoment id and attribute value will be dynamic assigned when logon to system. That means i have to use id="#{aid}" and value="#{avalue}" in following codes.
The problem are:
1. Component id looks only accepts constant (hard code data) insteads of varable. I changed id="ADMIN", and it works. It can be empty, and tag will give me one. Therefore, it is not too much affected me.
2. The f:attribute value, when value="Value" works. However, when value="#{avalue}", first time works, second time it throws Illegal State Exception. I really need this value be assigned by varable.
Can anyone help me out?

Urgent Help to fit the image on any mobile.......

i write an application in which i obtained the image fron the unternet and i want to fit that that to the display screen of any mobile forn how can i write the code?how can i get the height an dwidth of mobile display screen where the image is display.image size islarger

I have had the same issue, but the wheel "comes back" after 5min. I also sent it back for repair, and they "found" nothing wrong. I am about to send it back again and explain further the problem. Sorry cant help - just agree that others have the same problem

Problem connecting the database

Hi ,
Iam developing a webapplication with websphere application server and db2 database.
In the webspehre application server i have created a datasource and the JNDI name is
jdbc/myds and tested the connection, it is fine. now i want to use this datasounce in my javaprogram. i use this statement
InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
dataSource = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/myds");
but i get the error message name: jdbc/myds: First component in name jdbc/myds not found. Root exception is org.omg.CosNaming.NamingContextPackage.NotFound: IDL:omg.org/CosNaming/NamingContext/NotFound:1.0
can any one please tell me how to do the connection ???

"java:comp/env/whatever" is not the "full context name" it is a special context available to Java EE components that must be configured, Not sure what this means. I add the JNDI name to my connection pool, put the JNDI name in my Spring config, and voila - I have a data connection. Either you are creating your your datasource JNDI name with a java:comp/env/ prefix (which would be a bit strange) or you have an entry in web.xml + weblogic.xml. This is how java:comp/env is (was) supposed to be used.
Sure in your spring app it is a completely pointless abstraction but back in the day you were supposed to put all your configuration in web.xml etc ;-). The whole concept of java:comp/env is pretty much deprecated anyway: in Java EE 5 you have resource injection.
