Urgent: Hierarchy
Hi,
I have one zinfoobject in which i added hierarchy with 3 nodes. Now for those hierarchy nodes data been loaded into the ZTables and created view from those tables. Finally i have to load data into hierarchy through abap code.
Now i am confused that do i have to create data source on top that view or the datasource created for that zinfoobject will work.
I think to load hierarchy data into hierarchy through abap code i have to create datasource for hierarchy on top of that view. But not sure.
So, can someone clear this doubt.

Urgent: hierarchy in report
Hi,
How can I exclude a account number with hierarchy active for it.
I have a report in which col1 is account hierarchy and col2 is amount. In the report I want to exclude one account form the report. I right click on account number, select the option select filter value.. , select that particular account. For the account being selected in the selection box the option exclude from selection is grayed out and so I cant select it. If I make hierarchy inactive in the report and then try it I can do exclude from selection. But now with this filter condition on if I make hierarchy active then it gives me following message:
Invalid filter on 0ACCOUNT: Filter changed
Message no. BRAIN502
Diagnosis
You tried to filter according to an invalid value.
This could be because you filtered according to a hierarchy node which
is not visible to the current user.
System response
The filter is not evaluated for the characteristic, but removed instead.
If no other filter values exist for this characteristic, the system
responds to the whole request with the message "no applicable data
found".

URGENT::Hierarchy Variable creating Problem in WAD
Hi,
I am using Profit Center as Hierarchy variable in my Queries, when i run the report in WAD portal, and select the profit center on the selection screen, after clicking the check button it appears with compounding Characteristic Controlling Area as prefix.
In the back end for the Profit Center Hierarchy data each node has Controlling Area attached with profit center(value), whereas in master data for profit center we don't have controlling area attached with profit center(value).
For eg: if the Profit center has value P0001 has the controlling area is CA01 then the master data of profit center shows the value as P0001 whereas when we look at Hierarchal nodes it displays as CA01P0001 along with its description.
So when we run the Query we dont get any data because it shows that profit center CA01P0001 node does not exist in Hierarchy.
But in Analyser Query is working fine.
Please suggest some solution.

This issue is resolved with note:
1558066 WAD Metadata corrupt due to invalid entries in RSZWMDITEM
There are some incorrect entries in the table which is causing an issue.
Could you please follow the below to delete the entries manually:
1> Go to Transaction: SE16
2> Enter the table name = RSZWMDITEM and press enter
3> Enter the value for MDITEMNAME = TARTITLE and execute.
4> You will find 3 entries for the value TARTITLE. Could you please
delete all these 3 entries from this table.
After doing the above steps, please refresh the metadata by doing the
below steps:
1> Open Web Application Designer.
2> Go to Tools->Settings - > Refresh Metadata and press OK
now close and restart the web application designer. It should work fine

Unable to view complete Application Component Hierarchy.( Its Urgent)
Hi,
While creating Datasources with RSO2, I am selecting Application components, In the Application Component Hierarchy, I am unable to view the complete Hierarchy, ie subtrees are not available .
Say Under PA-> PA-PA-IO is visible . ie All subtrees are missing under this application component, Including transaction data sources under PA and also Master Datasources under PA-PA-IO. Like this all subtrees under each application components are not visible.
I have checked the Datasources delivered by SAP ie using RSA5 . Here all Application components are available including subtrees.
I have tried with RSA9 tried to transfer the Application component hierarchy but invain.
Please help me in this regard. Its very Urgent.

But it means you will lose your preferences, DB connections, ...

How to regularly update the Master data/Text/ Hierarchy for BW DEV?- Urgent
Hi Experts,
Can anyone help me to understand how to update the Master data/Text/ Hierarchy regularly for BW DEV.
Since all the new query developments are taking place in DEV, users are not finding the latest Masterdata/ Texts /Hierarchy in the DEV system.
I have searched in SDN and got a document "HOW TO DOWNLOAD A HIERARCHY TO A FLAT FILE". However, is there any other way to upload the master data automatically on periodical basis.
Please help urgently.

BW USAIf you want to extract master data from PRD in order to load in DEV, i suggest to do this (its a tricky thing):
For example, you want to download 0EMPLOYEE
1-In PRD, transaction RSD1
2-Enter 0EMPLOYEE
3-Copy the Master table for 0EMPLOYEE (/BI0/MEMPLOYEE)
4-transaction SE16
5-Enter the table name /BI0/MEMPLOYEE
6-in the selection screen, go to "Options" Menu and select "User parameters", and now select "Standard List SE16"
7-Execute
8-Now its show's up the 0employee data, go to "System" menu - List - Save - Local File
9-After you have the flat file, only rest create Infopackae in DEV Env. and load it from the flat file.

Pricing issue with Product hierarchy - Urgent

I have an issue on pricing determination with product hierarchy.
I created product hierarchy as following,
level1 - A0001
level2 - A0001B0001
level3 - A0001B0001C0001
Then, assigned A0001B0001C0001 to material D in material master.
I created condition record with A0001B0001C0001(level 3), the system found the condition sucessfully when I created a sales order with material D.
However, I created condition record with A0001(level1) but the system didn't get the price when I created the sales order with material D. Since A0001B0001C0001 belongs to A0001, the system is supposed to get the price from the condition record with A0001...

Here is the access sequence I defined. I wonder if there is anyway I can define PRODH1, PRODH2, PRODH3 in access sequnce the same way with customer hierarchy so that the system can check higher level data. If it's not allowed, I think I should define routine in requirement as you advised. Thanks!

AnilHi Anil,
Your query is built on an infoprovider, right? The way the hierarchy is displayed depends on TRANSACTION DATA IN INFOPROVIDER. To display the hierarchy normally you need to have in the provider not blank values of the characteristics you used in the query and not blank material code. Unassigned node means that this requirement doesn't met.
If would be much more useful if you describe what you have in the query and what - in the provider.

Hierarchy relationship report - - Critical and urgent rek
Hello Everyone,
I have a critical problem. I have Unit in the row column displayed as hierarchy. Current and past year quantity as RKF in the column and share in relation to US as CKF in the column. US, northeast and southeast are all part of worldwide. When we rollup to worldwide the result should show up just US results in total and not add up all three. I tried many ways but its in vain. Is it possible to get the desired result?? Please any idea would be of great great help.

This is a display hierarchy created at the characteristic level but each with a different node. US has the states covered by each individual region and Worldwide has US and 2 other regions under it. Is there a way to write a condition stating the worldwide to take just US values and nothing below it.
Please experts let me know if there is a possibility and hopefully there should be a work around.

Is your heirarchy uploaded properly for 0Material ?? If yes juct check out if your transcational data is in sync with the hierarchy master ? If it is not then it wuill display as Not Assigned..

For cost center hierarchy, some nodes r missing in the Query. I checked in the cost center hierarchy tab page. i could see all the nodes in 0Costcenter and as well as in source system. How can i get all the hierarchies nodes. what exactly the problem. why some nodes r missing.

I-Procurement problems with approval hierarchy - Urgent!! Please help!
Dear experts,
I am having a number of problems in i-procurement (12.1.3). When creating a Requisitions in i-procurement on the screen when it arrives with the approval list, it has retrieved a personel who is not in the hierarchy list at all. (not using AME just employee hierarchy)
I have checked the usual setting such as making sure the document type settings is correct and the position hierarchy for the position raising the requisition.
In addition to this once proceeding with submitting the requisition the created time is completly wrong. It is displaying a date occuring in the past. And in the Justification field it has already been populated it appears that it has captured information from a previous requisition. Furthermore in the created by field it also displaying a name of a different user to the one I am currently using.
I am out of ideas as to exactly what the problems is. Would appreciate if any I-procurement gurus can take a look at my issue.

EbsnoobThat sounds like a feedback loop.
Does the tone alter in pitch when you alter input and/or output levels or move your microphone?
And have you checked your coreaudio device in *Logic Pro>Preferences>Audio* ? And your recording settings in *File>Project Settings* ?
And how is your monitoring setup? Directly from the Presonus, or do you use *Software Monitoring* ?
Does the tone stop when you hit Pause ?
2nd possibility: a note event somewhere triggers a synth - but that would also happen in playback, so it is a long shot.... it does not happen in playback?

URGENT: Issue with hierarchy level keys and report drill down

BASIC STRUCTURE:
I have created a subject area with 3 facts (FACT_A, FACT_B, FACT_C) and 4 dimesnions (TIME_DIM,DIM_2,DIM_3,DIM_4). Each fact table also has additional aggregate tables aggregated along levels of the time dimension. Also our timw dimension has aggregated dimension tables like TIME_DIM_WEEK, TIME_DIM_MONTH, TIME_DIM_QUARTER and TIME_DIm_YEAR.
GOAL:
All 3 facts have the same measures M_1 and M_2 in them but may not have data for the same dimension values selected.
For example
For month JAN 2000 FACT_A.M1=100$ and no data exists for JAN 2000 in FACT_B and FACT_C. Then in the report
for JAN2000 it should show FACT_A.M1= $100, FACT_B.M1 = 0 and FACT_C.M1 =0. In this case I should be able to drill down to the lowest level.
ISSUE:
The time dimension TIME_DIM has the following levels - Total -> Year -> Quarter -> Month -> Week -> Day
However I am having an issue with drill down in the reports whenever I pull metrics from more than 1 fact at a time. I have defined the level keys but not sure if I need to do anything in addition since I am using aggregates.

All the fact tables have aggregated facts as sources.
I have checked the levels set for each of the sources to the time dimesnion table in BMM and they look okay. So the Time dim table in BMM has 4 source tables
Time_Day (level set to day, table key is "day"),
Time_month (level set to month, table key is "Fiscal_Month_Code"),
Time_Quarter(level set to quarter, table key is "Fiscal_Quarter_Code") and
Time_Year(level set to year, table key is :Fiscal_Year_Code").
Note: No time week aggregate added as logical source.
Again the time dim hierarchy based off of this table has levels: Total -> Year ->quarter -> Month -> week -> day
The levels keys set for each level are
Year -> Primary key is Year_Name (YYYY)(Checked as chronological key) and another key is Year_Num (YYYY)(Checked as chronological key)
Quarter->Primary Key is Quarter_Name (YYYY Qn), another key is Quarter_Number (Format n where n can assum values 1,2,3,4). Both keys are set as chronological keys
Month -> Primary key is Month_Name (MON YYYY), another key is Month_Num (Format n where n can assume values from 1 to 12) Both keys are set as chronological keys
Week -> Primary Key is week name (YYYY Wk nn, where nn can have values from 1 to 53), another key is week num (nn, where nn can have values from 1 to 53)
Day -> primary key set to day (date format)
Issue1: When I try to drill to lower levels it throws out an error saying report cannot find any data because filters may be too restrictive even though I see data at higher level
For ex: If I drill down to Year: 2010 and Qtr: 2010 Q2 and M1:$100 when I click on Qtr to drll to month level it throws me the error
Issue2: when I add year and qtr colums to the report I see data as below which is incorrect
Year_Name Qtr_Name data:FACTA_M1 Data: FactB_M1
2009 2009 Q1 $10 $5
2009 2009 Q2 $20 $80
2009 2009 Q3 $20
2009 2009 Q4 $30

In the above example year_name is not showing up for 2010 Q2 and after. However if I change the primary key for level 'Quarter' by having key consist of year name and quarter name instead of just quarter name the issue doesnt occur and drill down works great. The only issue is when I drill from qtr it first shows year name and quarter name instead of showing the next level which would be month name.

1) You can use the relation '002' in the table HRP1001, between the position of developer (objid) and get the position of team lead (sobid field). With the position of the team lead got in SOBID field... with the relation '008' get the person name.
2) You can use the transaction PPOM_OLD to view the reporting structure...

SSAS Cube Hierarchy Default Member, not aggregatable in pivot table multi select, Urgent

I have one problem in my project ssas cube. one of the dimension hierarchy, a value has been set up as default member in calculation tab.
The problem is:
When i filter (select multiple) this defaulted value and other value in excel pivot, it is always showing default member value instead of selected members aggregated value. if i remove default member it is working fine. Can you please provide work around
for this.
Please note that, if select multiple values within that hierarchy (this time not selected default value), aggregation is working fine.

According to your description, the default member cause incorrect data when dragging a attribute that contain a default member to the FILTERS area, right?
I can reproduce this issue on my environment, when dropping this dimension in the filter area of my pivot table and select multiple members including the default member then only data for the default member is shown. Currently, it's hard to say the root
reason that cause this issue. In order to narrow down this issue, please apply the latest server pack and cumulative update.

(urgent) Position Hierarchy and PO approval...
Hi,
We have re-engineered the current Position and Job Flexfield set-up, basically an additional segment in the Position FF and hiding a segment in Job FF. Adn the employee will be assigned to a one level high in the organization. So basically, employee will be assigned to a new org as well.
Due to the changes, all employees will be moved to a new position. Now since client is utilizing the Position Hierarchy, I would like to know if we
need to approved all the outstanding PO that requires approval, before moving the employees to the new assignment?
If we dont do that, will there be any implications or will it cause any problems moving forward.
Another question is, is it necessary to approved all the PO before changing all the employee assignment???

Thanks..PO Approval workflow is highly sensitive to changes while workflows are in progress. Remember workflow is versioned, so if you make changes to the workflow itself, then in progress workflows will still execute using the workflow definition at the time it started. Changing the user name is one no-no while that user has a PO Approval related to them in progress.
However saying that, its tough to answer your question without knowing more detail of the changes. If the original approval related data structures remain in place and you haven't changed the workflow definition, then the in process workflows may be okay to complete assuming the new positions the employees are moved to still allow the "Find Approver" function to execute correctly... not sure about the organization part...
As always, try it out in your test environment!
