the calenders are maintained in the source system and not in BW - if you have to change the calendar coming into BW - do the needful change for the related transaction in the source system.

No, but I suggest using a different editor which does allow a different text option and just pasting it in.

Urgent - How to change UME datasource during Installation

I am installing a SAP ERP 2005 SR2 system on Windows- Oracle. My question is I want to change UME datasource to dataSourceConfiguration_r3.xml
But when I run SAPinst, during all input phase it never ask me for choosing UME datasource.
Can somebody guide me how to do it! its a Urgent one!

You can change using the config tool.
But why do you want to change ? If your installation is an add-in then it would be the same it would refer to the abap-system if it is an addin.
Any ways you can change it ,but y default it will select the
datasourceconfigration_r3_rw.xml.
in config tool open it in configuration editor mode and then navigate to cluster>data>server>cfg>services and borwse for data source config

Lil bit tricky issue.
My client has asked us to change the existing Item Category values, Combinations, Category Set etc. Its been changed and uploaded successfully.
The question here is how we need to handle the category for Open Purchase Order. How to update the same.
Do we need to do manually or any other way ?

Hi John,
This is reallly a tricky issue!
I guess you cannot change the category of an existing PO's.
This field will be greyed out once we save the form...there were no profiles/other setups to enable this field.
For all new PO's since you have changed the new category value that should not be a issue.
Lets wait for some of our colleuges opinion.
I guess PO cancel should be the final option if we dont hear any new work arounds.

When there, I tried to download my free photoshop creative suite ( I was enrolled in a photography school so I was having an 'educational membership' ). At that time I contacted adobe support who was very gentle, unfortunately in the end we discovered that there was no way to have the programs in Israel. When I returned to Italy - still with some problems - I managed to download them and the problem was solved. Now the educational membership has expired, I'm no longer a student and I want to subscribe myself to one of adobe's plans BUT when I come to the paying , my residence is still set on Israel and the amount is set in NIS . And I can't change it. It's written also that I will pay an extra amount due to international transfers and so on.... I copy it here under:

Urgent: How to change GL acc thats in production from P&L to BS

Hi Gurus
We have a G/L accounts xxxxxxxx in Production, which has to be changed from P&L to a Bal Sheet as soon as possible.
Initially there were some postings on the accounts. So we reversed the docs and the account balances are now zero. The system still not allowing us to change the account from a P&L to BS.
Its very urgent. Plz help

URGENT - How to change data in a table

I have created the basic table to display some data. But how do I change some of the data in the table. I generate the data within my program and then need to display the new table data in the same original table.

So far I am just testing with the example codes from the sun website. How would I change the name Mary to say Kate? Do I have to implement an abstract table model? Can I just change the value in the array or something?

You see, your email is also your Apple ID, so if you have an Apple ID with @mac, @me or @icloud is not possible to change your email...
You can acess appleid.apple.com, enter your mail and password, there you can edit your email for the account.

Now I need to run the same report to be able to see their total sales but from two set of dates, for eg. the same report for 2006 and 2007, side by side to compare the sales done by these agents.. to get an idea if their performance is improving, etc. How do I do this??
The report already has two parameters date1 and date2, so in this I can give the date as from 01-JAN-2006 to 31-MAR-2006. But in the same report, I also need the total sales from 01-JAN-2007 to 31-MAR-2007, so that it can be compared.
Please advise. Its urgent. Its for the chairman.

How to change in sql_text into normal readable format?

hi all
yesterday inour production environment the dev. did wrongly updated one query.
they want to know who and when did the changes?
i found some info from dba_audit_object,
but in that table the column for sql_text is not showing the full query ,it shows the update table_name set column name=new row id where =old row id..
by using this query i dont know how to trace the sql_query in norma readble format.
pls help me to sort out this issue..

Whenever I change the Number of Rows value from 10 to 1000 in the Layout and Pagination section of the report page, the SUBMIT button is not working and it is unable to process at that stage. How can I change the valu so that I can see all the rows in a single page, make changes to all rows and submit the page rightaway. Please help me.

What I try to do is to reformat the default &date inserted into the Title for Discovere Plus and Viewer. When you edit the Title for the report, you can select the date from the Insert dropdown list to display the date when the report was run. The Date (shown &Date in the Title) has a default format of DD-MON-YY. As I have other date parameters displyed in the Title that have the format of DD-MON-YYYY specified by the user, I want to have the &Data in the same format. Please advise me how to achieve this.
