URGENT : how to change the report to use two date sets

Hi,
I have a summary report with the name of the sales agents and their total sales for the period from so and so. Now I need to run the same report to be able to see their total sales but from two set of dates, for eg. the same report for 2006 and 2007, side by side to compare the sales done by these agents.. to get an idea if their performance is improving, etc. How do I do this??
The report already has two parameters date1 and date2, so in this I can give the date as from 01-JAN-2006 to 31-MAR-2006. But in the same report, I also need the total sales from 01-JAN-2007 to 31-MAR-2007, so that it can be compared.
Please advise. Its urgent. Its for the chairman.

Environment Windows NT/2000 Forms 2.5
I want to print the output of a particular report to a file.
When I direct the output to the printer and click on 'print to file' option, it prints to a file but the file is not in a recognizable format.
I want the report to be opened in excel because it is a tabular report with no graphics.
How to achieve that. I'm absolutely new to Reports.

Hi ,
Its quite obvious that you are new to the report, what you are trying to do NOW is that you are trying to output a GUI report to a file , which you cannot , for that what you have to do is change the report layout to characther mode (of course you will not be able to get some gui features, ) but if your intention is to get a output to file , then this is the only way, plus you have to realign your report once you change the format to characther mode

Urgent: How to modfy the Report program Corresponding to a Infoset

Hi Friends,
I have done an infoset. I have used TCURR table for Query. I saw the Standard program of that Query having select statement like Select single * from Tcurr where Gdatum = RDD.
Where RDD is the value having Statndard date where Gdatum is Converted Date format using some conversion routine ...So the select statement is failing in
the standard program AQ50MPL=========COS_EE========.
When i tried to add an conversion routine before the select statement to convert the date to that Specific statement...When i tried to go to Change mode i got an error message like
"Standard SAP Program Status is not modifiable" can i change the Standard program which is not asking for Access key for change..
PLease help me how to change the standard program or How to make a copy of standard program into a Z program and how to call that z program instead of that standard program..

It's not possible to edit the standard AQ programs that you create using Infosets rather these AQ programs are generated when you generate the Infoset and the Query.
Secondly there's a point to be taken care of when we work on Queries and Infosets. There are two areas of Queries and Infosets namely, Global Area and Client-specific area. At this point, it's better to rush up with the jargons as you're running out of time. All you need to do is follow the steps below:
1) Goto SQ02 *infoset* -> *give in your infoset name*change
2) Goto EXTRAS tab or Press F5.
3) Goto CODE tab
4)from the drop-down CODING SECTION *you can choose from the list wherein you need to place your code or change the existing code by traversing the list*
5) Generate the code.
6) Repeat steps 1-5 for Client-specific area as well *choose Environment ->Query Areas -> Client-specific* to change the code there.
7) Generate the corresponding Query(SQ01) in a similar fashion *Global Area and Client-specific area as mentioned in step 6*

How to change the default structure when exporting data in CSV format?

can some one tell us how to change the default structure in CRM when exporting lists in CSV format (with Option "Always use unformatted list format (CSV) for download" ? Because we want to add a new structure for our own -is it possible ?
If it is possible where can we find these structure ? In the blueprint customizing ?

There is a workaround to move from 1.5 version to the older 1.4 version. But this could be specific to the browser setting the JRE version.
Excerpts from sun docs:
However, a user can still run older versions. To do so, launch the Java Plug-in Control Panel for the older version, then (re)select the browser in the Browser tab.
Example:
Assume you are running on Microsoft Windows with Microsoft Internet Explorer, have first installed version 1.4.2, then version 5.0, and you want to run 1.4.2.
Go to the j2re1.4.2\bin directory where JRE 1.4.2 was installed. On a Windows default installation, this would be here: C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin
Double-click the jpicpl32.exe file located there. It will launch the control panel for 1.4.2.
Select the Browser tab. Microsoft Internet Explorer might still appear to be set (checked). However, when 5.0 was installed, the registration of the 1.4.2 JRE with Internet Explorer was overwritten by the 5.0 JRE.
If Microsoft Internet Explorer is shown as checked, uncheck it and click Apply. You will see a confirmation dialog stating that browser settings have changed.
Check Microsoft Internet Explorer and click Apply. You should see a confirmation dialog.
Restart the browser. It should now use the 1.4.2 JRE for conventional APPLET tags.

My system (Windows XP) has the version 1.5_09 set as the default. However i just installed JRE 1.5_06 and would like to revert back to _06 as the default JRE..

How to change the Portal Password using a link from Web dynpro application

I have a requirement to change the user password from a web dynpro application which is available on a mobile device. Firstly User will log into the portal through a mobile device and after getting authenticated user will be redirected to the mobile application. Within this mobile application there will be a link to change the login password(Portal login). Thanks for your reply..but i would also like to know can we directly use the Change Password Iview "persoUserPassword" from the portal. Can i directly Pass the URL of this iview from the portal to a "Change Password" link in the web dynpro application, so that when the user click this link he should be able to see this Iview on his/her mobile device and should be able to change the password from there. But i dont know whether this iview will appear properly on the mobile device or we have to have a custom web dynpro application for this purpose...Please reply with a suitable answer.

BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE can be used to do batch split and updating storage loaction against each item of an outbond delivey.
I have done that in the folllowing way:
1 > Firstly i have updated the storage location for each delivery item using 'BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE' passing some mininal parameters.
   Fetch the item details from LIPS table based on the outbound delivery and pass the corresponding fields to item_data, item_control and item_data_spl parameters and passed into intenal table li_lips.
Loop at li_lips inti lw_lips.
    lw_item_data-deliv_numb           = lw_lips-vbeln.
    lw_item_data-deliv_item             = lw_lips-posnr.
    lw_item_data-material                = lw_lips-matnr.
    lw_item_data-fact_unit_nom      = lw_lips-umvkz.

Here you have to pass the same thing along with actual delivery qauntity and different batches to do batch split.
Here it is assumed that Batch numbers, actual delivered quantity are coming from an internal table i_lqua.
Looping through Internal table to get Bin details

Clearing work area before use

How to change the transmission rate of data flow in producer/ consumer pattern

Hi All
I am new to labview and trying to design a application to transfer image data in different rates, that means I can change the transfer rate in the transmission process. In fact,I refer to the the Queue Basic.vi to achieve this function by Changing the delay value of dequeue and enqueue.The program is divided into three parts:
The first part is the sender in vc used to split and send image data.Data size is 226kb and each time we send a 1kb packet;
The second is labview rate-change part，use producer/ consumer pattern and queue to transfer data;
The third one is the receiver in vc,receive data in sequence and synthetic images.
The entire transfer process is: image data was sent from the sender to producer loop through DLL, then enqueue--dequeue in consumer loop--DLL--receiver.The sleep time in vc sender is equal to the delay value in producer loop and this makes it look like the data generated as in the loop.
Now this is where my dilemma is：
When transferring data, if the producer loop and consumer loop delay value are equal(both 20ms), I can see image synthesis at a constant speed and no data lose; if I change the consumer loop delay value and make it greater than the producer delay(one is still 20ms and another is 50ms),that means receive in a lower rate and store data in queue. I can see Elements in Queue
increase but the image data randomly lost, and the image synthesis speed is not reduced.
My question is why image data loss and I can't see the image synthesis speed reduced when change the delay value in consumer loop?
Do anyone know how to solve the problem? Are there any examples I can refer to? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I don't have '/usr/lib/modules/3.17.3-1-ARCH/build/Documentation/VGA-softcursor.txt' on my file system. Does it contain the info about changing the blinking speed?
P.S. The other two links I found yet before starting this thread. I only found in them the recommendations about changing "the color and shape of the cursor and turning blinking on/off" (as I mentioned in the original question). Did I miss the info about the blinking speed?

But that file doesn't tell about changing the blink rate either.

How to change the owner of an Information Broadcasting setting?

I have created and scheduled some reports to be distributed via the Information Broadcasting functionality. I would like know if it is possible to change the "owner" of the setting in order to cater for the following scenario.
User A has created and setup a few Information Broadcasting settings. I would like to change the ownership of the setting so that User B has access to make changes. At the moment, users only have rights change their own settings.

Found a workaround although not ideal. I can temporarily assign the user the required rights to view all setting. User can then copy the settings (using save as option) and once done I can remove the rights.
However, the report format would have been customised and saved (using save view option) prior to setting up the information broadcast. When transfering ownership I also need to transfer the ability for the user to edit the saved format without starting from scratch. Any table or transaction I could use to do this? So at the moment I have a solution to enable the new user to change the distribution list and schedule, but not the report format which is required.

Well, you've got a huge problem on your hand if you can't remember the Apple ID/Password that was originally used to activate this phone. This is called Activation Lock, & there is no way around it, & Apple will not help you. If you can't remember this info, you won't be able to reactivate the phone.

Hi VM,
in the link editor you can use the Dynamic Link (see [Expression Editor|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/EN/45/b89adfaf1447f7e10000000a114a6b/frameset.htm]).
With the dynamic link, you can enclose the property that contains the value with "#", which makes MII evaluate the value rather than use the property name. In your example, it looks something like this:
ReceiveXML{/Rowsets/Row[name='#MyProperty#']}

thanksFirst off, you do not have an array of any dimension.You have a Vector that contains Vectors that contain Objects (you should provide a more specific type in your declaration).
To change the element at position x in the y'th Vector, get the y'th Vector and change the x'th element in said Vector.
As a side note, you should be using ArrayList instead of Vector these days.
