Urgent !!!!! HR interfaces

Information on HR interfaces

Typically you have Pi interfaces for payroll, benefits, time , staffing, bg.checks, performance mgmt etc. I remember we using an XML schema downloaded from hr-xml.org and using it as the template for PI interfaces in one of the client projects. You could download the schema from the website and look at it and use it as your template for hr interfaces thry PI.

  • Urgent: custom interface for HRMS module

    Hi All,
    We are creating custom interface for deducting some mismatch sales amount from respective employee's salary in HRMS module.
    So what are the interface table or API I have to use for employee’s salary detection process?
    I’m very new to HRMS module….
    Can anybody provide any documents regarding this process?
    Regards,
    Abdul wahab

    Review with the functional implementation team how will be this deduction setup to identify what information you'll need to upload. You'll need to use Batch Element Entry (BEE) interface for it. As mentioned, review iRep as well as HRMS implementatio guide for more detailed information.

  • [Urgent] IA (Interface Architecture)

    Hi experts,
    How could I update the value of the IA parms that is maintained in ZB01 from IA shell template ZTIAISHL?
    Thanks.

    Pete,
    You have to first read your funcitonal specificaitons. Then you have to decide which adapters you want to use for the interface. You have to see whether any dependencies are there for this interface. You have to check whether any BPM is required or not. You have to keep in mind how many no. of time the interface will run in a day(performance) etc.
    1. You can create Integration Scenario's in your XI server for this and this can be used to even create the Integartion Directory objects,

    2. Or you have modelling tools like ARIS for Netweaver where you model your process flow and import this into XI. More ,

  • URGENT : TAS Interface - BOM SO create a IDOC Automatically

    Hi,
    We have a situation where I am not able to configure the system to trigger an IDOC automatically.
    1. Unable assign load IDs to the exploded BOM items in SO. I have added the material / sales org / plant to make it TAS relevant. Yet I am getting the message that the item is not TAS relevant. Adding to this the same configuration is working if the item is not a BOM.
    2. When we create a SO in both the above cases I would like the SO to automatically have the output type and medium as ALE and the Logical system to be populated. So when the Order is saved an IDOC will be triggered to an external Logical system. Currently i have to manually enter the output type , and still even the IDOC isnot triggered. I have configured the Output type(OIOR) to the IDOC Include.
    Any help to fill in any missing configuration would be helpful. Please feel free to ask questions, as this is on HIGH PRIORITY.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Abir,
      Thanks for the response, All my license information is coming from the 3rd party, so I don't need any sort of logic or manipulation on GTS side. All i have to do is blindly create a license, so BADI doesn't help me.
    All I need is a function module/ BAPI  that can accept the licence information as input and create a license.
    Also I'm looking to see if there is any standard Idoc to hold the licence data (Like orders04 for sales order...)
    Thanks for your time

  • NIC Driver Installation

    Hi,
    I installed Solaris10 on x86 server. At the time of installation it able to detect all the 3 network cards. After installation i am able to see only one NIC card in "ifconfig -a" i.e bge0. The other 2 network cards are not shown in "ifconfig -a". The other 2 interfaces are e1000g0 and e1000g1. this names i got from installation.
    Can anybody help me to configure the other 2 network cards.
    This is very urgent.
    regards

    ifconfig <interface> plumb
    You have to plumb the interfaces before you can see them in inconfig -a. use the /etc/hostname.<interface> file to set them up or use ifconfig commands to manually set them up.

  • Payables Open Interface Pgm fails without any error(Very urgent)

    All,
    I'm into an integration project where in I'm pushing Invoice doc from a third party appln to Oracle apps (11.5.10.2) thru payables open interface. The integration is smooth till today. We pushed a record today, but the concurrent neither picks up the data but failed with 'completed error' status. When I delete the same record from the interface, the concurrent runs fine. So we are sure there is some issue with the data in my record. Since concurrent is failed without any reason, from where I can get the log to know what is the actual problem with that record? Pls help me with your inputs.
    Thanks,
    Sen

    Sen,
    To enable trace, please refer to this document (skip the part about generating TKPROF, just check the concurrent request output file if more details about the error are logged after enabling trace and setting the profile option).

    The database log file can be usually found under $ORACLE_HOME/admin/<SID>_<hostname>/bdump directory (or from SQL*Plus, issue "show parameter background_dump_dest").

  • Attachment support thru Payables Open Interface(POI)-urgent pls..

    All,
    Version: 11.5.10.2
    We have a requirement that we need to integrate a 3rd party application to push invoices to Oracle payables thru POI. From 3rd party appln there are chances that it may send a attachment (ex: supplier catalogue in pdf/file format along with invoice). When I gone thru the POI interface tables, I couldn't see any relavant attributes field to push an attachment. May I know if anyone come across this, if so kindly share your views/suggestion on this.
    thanks
    sen

    All,
    I tested the attachment using the fnd_webattch.add_attachment API. I can successfully loaded the attachment to AP Payables using the invoice id as primary key. But when I try to open the attachment from UI, it opens a blank page!!
    What i did was i kept a file in one of the location of my oracle apps server, then i gave the file location in the API as /home2/system1/orafin11i_H.txt. .
    my api is like this
    fnd_webattch.add_attachment(seq_num => v_seq_num,
    category_id => v_category_id,
    document_description => p_document_desc,
    datatype_id => v_datatype_id,
    text => NULL,
    file_name =>'/home2/system1/orafin11i_H.txt',
    url => NULL,
    function_name => 'APXINWKB',
    entity_name => v_entity_name,
    pk1_value => to_char(p_entity_id),
    pk2_value => NULL,
    pk3_value => NULL,
    pk4_value => NULL,
    pk5_value => NULL,
    media_id => v_media_id,
    user_id => fnd_global.user_id);
    anything i did wrong? pls let me know
    thanks

  • Supplier Sites Interface errors out -- URGENT!! please help.

    Hi All,
    The log file has the following message when executing the supplier sites interface import program that errored out:
    REP-1419: 'beforereport': PL/SQL program aborted.
    I have searched Metalink where they said the Batch Size should be 1000 by default. I did the same but still did not work.
    I have made sure that teh vendor_id, vendor_site_code, org_id combination is unique.
    I am not sure why I am getting this record. I have to process around 300000 records. When I ran the import progam the first time, it errored out after processing 171000 records. Then when I ran the program again for new records(that were not imported) it errored out after processing 42000 records. I dod not know how to resolve this issue.
    Please help!!

  • How to specify a base class for Remote Interface in Workshop 9.2? -- URGENT

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a UUP EJB in WebLogic 9.2 workshop. I am using @FileGeneration to create my home & remote interfaces. And the generated remote interface is extending javax.ejb.EJBObject;I want my remote interface to extend com.bea.p13n.property.EntityPropertyManager which in turn implements javax.ejb.EJBObject. Can someone tell how i can do it in Workshop?.
    I came across Predefined Variable: remote.baseClass and as per docume
    ntation..."If specified, the value of this variable will be used as the base class for all generated remote classes. Where i should specify it?. @FileGeneration does nt have any option for it. Any help is grtly appreciated.
    Following are my code snippets:
    IMPL Class
    @FileGeneration(remoteClass = Constants.Bool.TRUE,remoteHome = Constants.Bool.TRUE, localClass = Constants.Bool.FALSE, localHome = Constants.Bool.FALSE,remoteClassName = "MyEntityPropertyManager",remoteHomeName = "MyEntityPropertyManagerHome")
    public class MyEntityPropertyManagerImpl extends GenericSessionBean implements
              SessionBean {
    //code
    }

    This question was posted to both the bea.workshop.developer.general and weblogic.developer.interest.workshop (I had replied to the later on 10/19); after seeing an identical question today on this list want to include a reference to that reply here:

  • EXTREMELY URGENT!!  Last question on Local Interfaces

    Using Oracle9iAS 9.0.3
    Running on RedHat 8.0
    Trying to implement local interfaces to my entity bean. (Oracle9iAS Containers for J2EE for 9.0.3) provides an example for writing local interfaces.
    pg. 2-10 states:
    //The variable is specified in the assembly descriptor (META-INF/ejb-jar.xml)
    Object homeObject = context.lookup("java:comp/env/EmployeeLocalBean");
    but, if you look at the ejb-jar.xml they reference, it's as follows (pg. 2-12):
    <ejb-jar>
    <enterprise-beans>
    <session>
    <description>Session Bean Employee Example</description>
    <ejb-name>EmployeeBean</ejb-name>
    <home>employee.EmployeeHome</home>
    <remote>employee.Employee</remote>
    <local-home>employee.EmployeeLocalHome</local-home>
    <local>employee.EmployeeLocal</local>
    <ejb-class>employee.EmployeeBean</ejb-class>
    <session-type>Stateless</session-type>
    <transaction-type>Bean</transaction-type>
    </session>
    </enterprise-beans>
    </ejb-jar>
    Where does the EmployeeLocalBean name come from for the lookup?!
    Also, do I NEED to deploy BOTH remote and local interfaces to get my local interfaces to work? Another post on this forum had a problem where they couldn't view the configurations of the EJB because there were not remote interfaces available, but then later they said it was just a problem with the web-based Enterprise Manager.
    Please, can someone let me know if these questions are not interesting enough to the forum? Has nobody here ever implemented Local Interfaces on 9.0.3? Do I need to be posting these questions to a different forum? Please advise and I will take care to get my answers elsewhere if necessary.
    It's just that every resource I've looked at for Local Interfaces (which 9.0.3 CAN implement...right?!) has conflicting information and seems to have buggy implementations. Please....help!
    Thanks in advance!

    Strangely enough, I'm not aware of troubles with enviroment variables and JNDI lookup. There are some misunderstandings - compared to WLS, JNDI tree is different.
    Here is an example of Session EJB settings:
    <session>
    <description>Session Bean ( Stateless )</description>
    <display-name>XSLTransformerEJB</display-name>
    <ejb-name>XSLTransformerEJB</ejb-name>
    <local-home>com.ness.europe.integration.transformer.XSLTransformerEJBLocalHome</local-home>
    <local>com.ness.europe.integration.transformer.XSLTransformerEJBLocal</local>
    <ejb-class>com.ness.europe.integration.transformer.impl.XSLTransformerEJBBean</ejb-class>
    <session-type>Stateless</session-type>
    <transaction-type>Bean</transaction-type>
    <env-entry>
    <description>path to root transformatin file</description>
    <env-entry-name>config/RootTransformFile</env-entry-name>
    <env-entry-type>java.lang.String</env-entry-type>
    <env-entry-value>/oracle/product/IAS903/j2ee/MwCezPassport/xslt/passport.xslt</env-entry-value>
    </env-entry>
    </session>
    Next, there is an MDB with reference to it:
    <message-driven>
    <description>Message Driven Bean</description>
    <display-name>PassportMDB</display-name>
    <ejb-name>PassportMDB</ejb-name>
    <ejb-class>com.ness.europe.integration.inbound.mdb.InboundMDBBean</ejb-class>
    <transaction-type>Bean</transaction-type>
    <acknowledge-mode>Auto-acknowledge</acknowledge-mode>
    <message-driven-destination>
    <destination-type>javax.jms.Queue</destination-type>
    <subscription-durability>Durable</subscription-durability>
    </message-driven-destination>
    <ejb-local-ref>
    <ejb-ref-name>ejb/XSLTransformerEJB</ejb-ref-name>
    <ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>
    <local-home>com.ness.europe.integration.transformer.XSLTransformerEJBLocalHome</local-home>
    <local>com.ness.europe.integration.transformer.XSLTransformerEJBLocal</local>
    <ejb-link>XSLTransformerEJB</ejb-link>
    </ejb-local-ref>
    There is basically this piece of code to do lookup environment variable:
    String toRet = (String)this.initCtx.lookup("java:comp/env/config/" + paramName);
    (of course, the config prefix is our syntax)
    As for EJB lookup, this is used:
    final InitialContext context = new InitialContext();
    return (XSLTransformerEJBLocalHome)context.lookup("java:comp/env/ejb/XSLTransformerEJB");
    I didn't created those beans but I asked mate from my team and answer as to troubles was "no".
    Is the problem lies in "not hard coded" names of beans in lookup? We are not trying to get "env/ejb" but just straighforwardly EJB using its name.

  • How to add Two Interface Mappings to One Receiver(BPM) Help needed urgently

    I have a requirement where i get a flat file and split into multiple files and send to BPM.
    For each split file I created Interface Mapping using Java Mapping Program.
    In the Configuration how to add more Interface Mappings?
    Thanks for your help in advance.
    Regards
    Sudha

    You can use Enhanced Interface Determination to split one message to Multiple hence to multiple Interfaces.
    You have to change the Occurance of Messages in Message Mapping and their Corresponding Interfaces in Interface Mapping. That would create Multiple Files with Multiple Interfaces to Receiver (BPM)
    1) You need not to use Multilpe Interface Mapping
    2) You will use Extended Interface Determination for this.
    regards.
    Jeet.
