Urgent, I delete the discussiongroups directory unguardedly!

Hi,
I unguardedly delete the discussiongroups directory in KM Discussion Group Admin iview.
In fact I want to delete the every tpoics,but I choose the "delete" in the upper,and in the "Confirm Deletion",I choose yes.
Now,I can't creat new Discussion,and in the root of the KM Content,I can't find the discussiongroups directory .I can't creat this directory in root.
Now,I want to resume this directory.Please everyone tell me!

DNS The Zone cannot be deleted - the active directory service is not available

As you can see from the Summery, I got this message when I'm trying to delete DNS Zone.
It's not matter if the DNS Zone newly created or its an Old One.
After this message the computer is telling you "The Computer is about to make Restart".
It's so strange and i really don't know what to check first.
More Information:
5 Servers that Replicate together.
The Operation System is Windows Server 2012R2 for all the entire DC's
1 Domain In the Forest.

DCdiag /fix and no errors in there everything marked as PASSED.
I did Demotion for one of the DC to troubleshoot, but with no luck i'm back to the same point i started
I tried to delete the brand new Zone from the commandline using DNScmd it's still not working and the computer is reboot himslef.
I've checked the permissions from the ADSIEdit.msc:
Inherit from MicrosoftDNS section to the ROOT
DNSAdmins > Full Control
Domain Admins > Full Control
From "DNS Server" section at the EventViewer
The DNS server is waiting for Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) to signal that the initial synchronization of the directory has been completed. The DNS server service cannot start until the initial synchronization is complete because critical DNS

How do I delete the CSC directory

Since I've moved my directory My documents, My music, etc to my NAS, windows 8.1 starded synchronizing on my HDD. I've cancelled the synchronizationof of the offline files but I can't delete them.
how can I do this operation ?

Hi,
To delete the offline files in CSC Folder, you will first have to disable Offline Files. Then, you can change the permissions of the CSC Folder and its subfolders and delete them.
Please refer to these steps to do so:
Step 1: Disable the Offline Files.
a.
Open Sync Center and click on
Manage Offline Files on the left.
b.
Select the Disable Offline Files Button and reboot the computer.
Step 2: Give yourself all the permissions.
a.
Press Windows key + X and select
Command Prompt (Admin).
b.
Type these commands and press
Enter after each one.
cd c:\Windows
takeown /f csc /r /a /d y > NUL
icacls csc /grant Administrators:(F) /t /l /q
c.
Delete the folders under
C:\Windows\CSC.
Note: You will need administrator access or password to perform these steps.

How to delete the Oracle directory

I have uninstalled oracle 10g but the directory is still on C:\ . How do you get rid of this directory. I try to delete it and it says the file is in use. msvcr71.dll I used the oracle uninstaller and check the registry. I want to reinstall 10g, but it list a 1 and 2 database. How to find out who deleted the directory in Unix

Hi Experts,
In my system some body tampered the directories, and more over some body deleted the bin directory under the /usr/sap/trans in Unix operating system. now i am checking to find out who deleted and for the more logs.
i am unable to find out the user name and deleted directory logs..i know its completely related to the unix level but mean time i am searching for the same.
Any ideas and clues will be heighly appreciated.

To know the OS would have been helpful
First ask the people around you if anybody did it, maybe he is man enough to admit...
Try to find out who logged at the time when the directory was deleted.
- check the OS syslog (/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for hp-ux, /var/log/messages for linux)
- try the last commando to get a list of who logged on when
- check the command histories of the sidadm, root user, use the history command, or the h alias
- check if there are scripts running, which regularly delete files
As the trans directory might be NFS mounted to other servers, you might need to do the checks there too.

Is there any way to stop the Web Services assembler from deleting the build directory (or the war file) after it is done packaging the ear file? I want to take the war file and package it into my own ear file.

Using wsa from 10.1.3, you have the -war option wich can be used to provide the location where to put the file that will be otherwise packaged in the war file.

Can't delete file or directory with accent character

I have a directory within my iTunes folder structure that has an accent character in it which I am trying to delete.
If I do an ls on the directory I get this:
ls -al ls: Radiů Disney_ Jams Vol. 2: No such file or directory

I've tried rm -rf * but after that I attempt an ls -l I still get: ls: Radiů Disney_ Jams Vol. 2: No such file or directory
Any way to delete the directory with offending filename? If I attempt to delete the parent directory I get a "Directory not empty message"

I tried the SMB path as well but the files were acting as though they were written with indelible electrons. I remembered that the files were originally created and deposited into the folder from a windows machine. I logged into my folder from the same machine and was able to delete them without any problem.
I appreciate your help and have saved your suggestions (I'm sure they'll come in handy).

From the 9.3.1 docs:
"If you do not want to use a configured user directory that was used for provisioning, remove it from the search order so that the user directory is not searched for users and groups. This action maintains the integrity of provisioning information. It also enables you to use the user directory at a later time, if needed."

How to set the deployment directory ?

Hi all,
I am using Sun One Studio 3.0 with iWS6.0.
For every new application that I write, compile and execute,
it is getting deployed to the same
directory.
Because Sun One Studio is always using the same directory,
for every application I have
to manually delete the deployment directory.
Is there any way to set different deployment
directory for every new application that I write ?
If yes, how to do this ?

I dont have the product installed, so I cannot try it right now. But I think the context root is part of the directory name in which the application is deployed. By default the context root is empty. If you change that, your application would be deployed in a different directory. To change context root, right click on WEB-INF node, and select "Properties" from the menu.
Alternatively, you could try changing the directory name by right-clicking on the web.xml node under WEB-INF. You should see an iWS tab on the property sheet, where you could enter a directory name.

User deletes Installed Application / Directory

Can anyone help me? I have browsed through earlier threads but could not find an answer to my question.
My question is "What if the user plays around with the client(deletes the installed directory or removes or moves a few or all files) that is transparently installed on his PC?"
All documents talk about changing of JARS at the server but what about user manipulating at his end(Client end).
Please help me ASAP.

You are right in saying that JWS does not install any applications and it only caches JAR's. But my question was WHAT IF the user deletes the JAR's. In that case what happens when the user clicks on the desktop icon(created earlier)? Will he get an error? Or will he have to realunch the application again from browser by calling the JNLP URL? or by clicking on the desktop icon, JWS seamlessly calls the JNLP, caches again and runs the applicaiton transparently to the user?

About the /lib64 directory [SOLVED]

I noticed recently that I have a /lib64 folder in my root directory, wich contains only two symlinks (ld-2.15.so and ld-linux-x86-64.so.2).
More precisely, I have the following layout: (the arrows mean "points to", and I use absolute path)
/lib64/ld-2.15.so --> /lib/ld-2.15.so
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 --> /lib/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 --> /lib/ld-2.15.so
Is this "normal" (I run arch x86-64) ?
I once used multilib, is it the reason why I have this /lib64 directory ?
If so, is it safe to delete the /lib64 directory now that I don't use it anymore ?

Deleting the custom package from system

Hello All,
I have created a custom package and added few custom programs.
I have deleted the custom program first, they were deleted successfully.
At last I try to delete the custom package, I am getting a message as "The package still contains subobjects".
But actual all the objects related to package were deleted.
Please let me know how to delete the custom package completely from the system?

or I think you may remove the package (and its lock) from the transport request, delete the object directory entry of the package (SM30 TADIR), then you can delete the package. Or vice versa (I don't remember exactly).
